The Keg and Egg

Finally had a chance to get back to the keg and egg. Delightful service. And excellent food. Chicken fried steak was a knockout. Sausage gravy thick and salty the way God intended. Hashbrown casserole was a touch sweet for my taste. Eggs. Very well prepared. People think it's hard to screw eggs up. I assure you it is not, places do it all the time. Definitely some other menu options I wish to visit.

Hubby got the fries with sausage gravy and eggs (your choice how cooked).

I got the monte cristo.

The food came out fast and hot. Everything is seasoned so well… I’m blown away by how amazing everything is! We will 100% be back!

The perfect brunch spot. Amazing atmosphere, small, funky, intimate vibe. Outstanding service and THE FOOD!!! Off the charts shrimp and grits and a very good Bloody Mary. We will be returning and highly recommend!

10 🌟 Star Service and Food. All of the staff we encountered from our waitress to the owner were all smiles and friendly. We told our waitress this was our first time there, and she recommended the local favorites. We were impressed 👏 with how quickly our food came out after we ordered, and they were fairly busy after the lunch time rush. All of our food was delicious 😋. We will definitely return to try the breakfast menu and again for lunch. Thanks again, everyone.

Great place for Brunch. Friendly service and the decor is worth a visit. Beware of Micheal Myers! I had the fried canjun chicken sandwich. Big and delicious! Will come back.

Very impressed with this restaurant! Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere was super cool and interesting and the service was great. The eating areas were kept very clean inside and outside the restaurant. I got the fry pie and my wife got the French toast and both were beyond amazing and very generous portions. This is a very highly recommended place to bring the whole family. To not only enjoy an appetizing and delicious meal but to explain to the kids everything on the walls.

This place is a must stop if you are in Wilmington. From the fun atmosphere and amazing decor to the great service and excellent food. I had the Monte Cristo and it was delicious. We never felt as if we were waiting long for anything, including refills on the drinks. Excellent job to their staff. And the decor!!!! So much to look at. I can't wait to go back because this place is one of those places that no matter how many times you are there you'll always notice something new. Definitely stop by and check it out.

I was very impressed with the quality of Keg and Egg's food and delightful service as a first time visitor. Featured is the Keg and Egg Shrimp and Grits, biscuit and gravy along with the Kegs Benedict. Ok...I'm gonna admit that I was skeptical of the shrimp and grits at first glance but after taking a few bites, it probably ranks in my top 10 in Wilmington. No kidding. My Mrs. even stated that I made a great choice for brunch and that was evidential since there was absolutely nothing left on her plate. We will definitely be going back in the near future to try out more of what this hidden, hole-in-the-wall has to offer. The entire staff was pleasant, cordial and efficient, which makes this a 5-Star brunch experience. Thank you, Keg and Egg.

The staff was the nicest I've experienced at a restaurant in a long time. The loaded baked potato soup was incredible, and they made the best chicken ceaser wrap I've ever had in my life. This place is the best!

Loved the 90's pop culture decor and the breakfast I had was absolutely delicious. Serving staff was prompt and friendly, drinks and food appeared cleanly and professional. I rate this restaurant 10/10, would recommend.

This was my second visit. Love this spot. Be sure to get in before 11am weekdays to get their delicious breakfast. The sausage and gravy is to die for and the portions are hearty and prices are perfect. Thursdays are $4 local craft beer days, yummm! Excited to go back for lunch/dinner to try soon.

Eclectic mix of decorations. Being originally from Pittsburgh. I love the memorabilia. The Creature from the Black Lagoon, joined us for breakfast.
All in all, I would say they provide a feast for the tastebuds and the senses.

This place is one of my favorite, places to grab breakfast!! Have the best homemade biscuits and gravy! Eggs are always cooked perfectly!
And on the weekend they have amazing breakfast specials!

Don't let the initial appearance deceive you... The food is amazing. We tried the stuffed biscuit and the jambalaya omelet. Amazing. And the boozy coffee was right on point.

Love this place. It's my go to when I'm in town. The shrimp and grits are the best . But I did try the waffle this time.. excellent. Lemon in the whipped cream would have taken it over the top

Always delicious!! Pictured is huevos rancheros, biscuits & gravy, calz-omelette and traditional. There are a few staples we get from the menu but typically always pick from the specials which I highly recommend. Service is always top notch.

Had brunch here Saturday after Thanksgiving. It was delicious! I had the home made corned beef with eggs, my wife had biscuits and gravy, also delicious. I had my eye on the berry waffle which I will get next time. Excellent staff, and the owner greeted us and checked on us. A very pleasant experience in all respects. They have a brunch menu as well as their breakfast all day menu. Lots of fun choices. Generous portions were served. We will be making regular visits to The Keg and Egg.

Ok....how do I say this....PERFECTION!! II am super serious about my brunch people, and Keg and Egg hit every happy button I have. Not only did I leave satisfied, I could not wait to share this place with other foodies like myself. The Kegs Benedict gave the classic dish a down home, spectacular twist with a homemade biscuit holding a fresh made sausage patty, a perfectly prepared egg and smothered with the best homemade sausage gravy I've ever had (sorry grandma). My hubs and I got the French Toast to split because we must and it was unbelievable. Mimosas to set it off ( my new fav) our waitress, Michelle killed it, and the outdoor seating was exactly what we needed. Even the other customers are awsome guys. Get some relief from the covid quarentine blues, your heart,tummy,palate and mind will thank you! Keg and Egg yall.
