GRK YEERO at Chapel Hill

Wonderful place to eat on Franklin St! The staff were very nice and patient, very welcoming too! I’m on a meal plan as a UNC student so I’m a regular here. The food is amazing! One step closer to Greek culture! Their steak and fries are so yummy, my favorite! I highly recommend:)

I recently visited this restaurant and had an amazing dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was particularly impressed with the kofte kebab, which was perfectly grilled and flavorful. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the meal came with a fresh, crisp salad and other tasty sides. The flavors of the dishes were authentic and reminded me of the best Turkish cuisine I've heard so much about. Despite not being a fancy place, the restaurant was clean and well-organized, making for a comfortable dining environment. The quality of the food was definitely five-star level. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. I will definitely be returning for more.

The food here is fantastic! I've probably eaten there for lunch 50+ times over the years. It's authentic flavor that's hard to find outside of Turkey or Greece. The fries and kebabs are really great, but I've tried a lot of their menu, and it's always good. It's not too expensive either.

Also the owner is really lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful.

For all these reasons, I've brought a ton of my colleagues here for lunch, and I always hear good reviews from them!

Everything was delightful! I ordered the Beef Kofta Kabob with Tzatziki, hummus, pita, and dolmathes. My daughter and I had the Lamb and beef gyro. My daughter ordered the rice platter with Chicken Shish Kebob & Beef Kofta Kabob, Tzatziki, tabouli, and pita. Everything was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the hummus. The flavor was amazing. The Greek salad was flavorful. The dressing was delicious. The kofta kebab was delicious and the chicken shish kebab was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We both enjoyed the dolmathes and the gyro.

We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this place if you haven't tried it! The food I'd comforting.

Oh, and the cheesecake?? Amazing!!! Definitely one of the best!!

First time eating at a Greek restaurant and I must say I was truly impressed! The owner was very helpful in making menu item selections and the service was awesome. My wife and I absolutely loved this quaint little gem right in the heart of Franklin Street. It's hard to believe that the food is good for you and just as tasty as a non vegetarian dish. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Delicious!!!! We had the steak/fries platter, hummus, dolmathes, gyro, and cheesecake everything excellent!!
The ONLY negative is the dolmathes needed more of that yummy tangy yummy sauce that comes with it. I asked for extra but they don’t keep them in the sauce. But still great

If you want quick and delicious Mediterranean food, come eat here! They had a steady stream of people dining in and coming in to pickup food.

Mouthwatering food. Tried chicken yeero. Test was excellent. Open till 4 am. A good place for late night food craving.

If your in Chapel Hill and you want some authentic Greek food, GRK YEERO is the place! All the food my wife and I tried was spectacular. They make the food right upfront, see you can actually see what goes into a gyrp, wraps, and much more! Check it out you won't be disappointed!

Great food (the pickles in the gyros were an inspired addition) in a clean, unfussy environment. Get the walnut baklava. You won't be sorry.

My youngest son wanted Greek food. We went to one in Durham. I didn't like it. I only got a falafel wrap with hummus. I told him it wasn't flavorful enough. He enjoyed his dish. I found this place and I told him we would try this one. I got something different - beef and lamb gyro.

The meat was perfectly seasoned. Yum! My son said this was better than the place he chose.

I also got the dolmathe which were delicious. He ate quite a few of those.

He has never had baklava so I got 3 of those and also the cheesecake baklava. I don't like cheesecake but I LOVED this. Oh my! The baklava was some of the best I have tasted. Not overly sweet. It was perfect.

Food is always delicious when I come in and the staff here are some of the nicest and most genuine people I've ever met. They are also very accommodating of me because I am kinda picky. It kind of makes me look forward to forgetting to pack my lunch before I come to campus...

I tried beef and lamb yeero. It was soooooo good! Love this place! They serve very delicious baklava as well!!

2am I was hungry, I learned they were 24 hours and had to try it. I got the Greek Salad with a side of Chicken Kabob. 🔥🔥 🤤 . It taste so fresh, the best salad I had in Forever or thee best. I got hummus and the freshest pita bread too. It was nice and warm and barely made it home . Nice staff and clean. Definitely will be back!

The yeero greek ( gyro) is really good the pita bread is one of the best

Chicken gyros tastes good, and the fries are done well. Came here a couple of times this week and the food has been consistently great every time!
