Mr. Mariakakis is an extremely kind and helpful man that goes out of his way to help his customers. He has a wide selection of foods and wines from around the world. His selection of olives, cheeses, frozen foods and dry goods cannot be found anywhere in the area.

The original gourmet market. Absolutely not pretentious. Just great provisions at a fair price. If this store were in New York, people would drop it’s name just to show how much in the know they were. Give it a try for their Olive Oil, Lebne, souvlaki meat, pasta, pickled vegetables…and tons more.

Amazing customer service! This place is awesome. They have an amazing selection of wine, fine foods, and international sweets and candies well suited for people looking for a fun shopping experience, or those looking to pick up their weekly groceries. The icing on the cake however, is their hospitality and customer service. When we were checking out there was an issue with our card which prevented us from completing our transaction. A nice man was very patient about the whole situation, and told us to simply take our groceries and make up the difference next time we stop by. It was an incredible nod to the days when your local grocery store was actually a part of the community and not just another nameless business. I will definitely be back to help support their store and I encourage anyone who is interested in having their faith restored in humanity to do the same.

P.s., for any Russian shoppers they carry Buck wheat porridge and caviar!!!

Large, well stocked Greek Market. Mr. Mariakakis was most kind and helpful. Will definitely shop here again.

The owners are friendly and nice. The store has a good selection of Eastern and Central European food and wine. Greek cheeses are the best! Along with many other products from Europe that i can find only here.

Great place for all things Greek!!! Best feta anywhere and other great cheeses in product such as olives and Mediterranean goods. They offer the highest quality Greek goods that I’ve seen anywhere.

This is a very nice store. We find there some Eastern European goods (like buckwheat and pryaniki (Russian type of gingerbread), sushki (Russian type of pretzels), good juice choice. The service is very polite.

Great place for those hard to find specialty items. Popular with Russians as well as Greeks and anyone who enjoys the cuisine. Picked up a box of delicious Turkish delights with hazelnuts the other day. Yummy 😋

Great store with a diverse stock. Thought it would be just Greek foods, but I picked up a delicious plum Sake as well!

I pray this place never goes out of business. Great selection of European specialty food and wine. We visit often! Try the baklava! It's over the moon and inexpensive.

Love this small indepentently owned Greek grocery store. Shop here every time I get to Chapel Hill. I live 21/2 hours away.
