Carrboro Town Commons

I have visited the Carrboro Town Commons for lots of the regular programming - Farmer's Market, Really Really Free Market (just stay after the Farmer's Market ends), Carrboro Day, Fourth of July, etc. Always a good time. I appreciate that they leave the electrical outlets live and unlocked. I also appreciate that against the Carrboro Town Hall, there are lots of compost collection bins which are usable at any hour. I used to rush to make it to the Farmer's Market to drop off my compost, but since discovering that, the pressure is off.

Very nice venue/park for any event!

Fantastic local space for community events such as the farmer's market, concerts and festivals. You could probably get married out there! When I was a kid in the 1973-1975's, me, my mom, and dad all played softball on different teams on the baseball field. Carrboro also used to put on a yearly carnival in this space. It had a ferris wheel, great junk food, games and lots of other fun rides. You got to see all your friends! BRING BACK THE CARNIVAL!! For concerts, its nice to sit out on the grass to hear good music of any genre...just chill in the zone and feel the evening breeze. A hometown jewel.

I've been enjoying Carrboro for a few years now. Happily I now live here. For me Carrboro is the best part of Orange County. Small town Vibe with a lot of great surprises. Really, really friendly residents. Check out the Farmers market, Library, Weaver Street Market. And a ton of other great places.

Not really sure what I'm rating here... It's an outdoor, partially-covered, grassy, public space for gatherings & various events. It does a good job being a space where people can exist. When there's nothing going on there I guess it's okay.

Wednesday Farmers' Market, beautiful fresh produce, gorgeous corn and tomatoes! Friendly faces, a great experience!

This is the best place for a farmers market or get together. Area of covered walkway and Pavillion as well as open green space and a playground.

To my hometown chapel Hill carrboro area great Farmers market on Sunday mornings and Wednesday mornings if you're ever in chapel Hill go tar heels!

Farmers Market is the best place to get fresh organic vegetables. Also, fabulous sweet potato donuts.

Nice family, pedestrian friendly Farmers Market on weekends.

Carrboro is a great little town but Saturdays at the Farmer's Market is one of it's highlights
