PALETTE & PARLOR (by Appointment)

By far the best online furniture ordering experience I’ve had. I love supporting a small local business, and I stumbled across Palette & Parlor after all the local furniture stores in Austin didn’t pan out. I worked with Ivy and she’s super kind, helpful, and definitely patient. She really impressed me because she’s honest and fair and I appreciated that more than anything. The shipping was relatively fast and they were very gentle on my piece during transport (the box didn’t have a mark on it!) Overall, I’ve been sharing Ivy’s shop with anyone I know who’s looking to buy furniture online. I’m in love with the piece I bought and will be returning to her site in the future.

Ivy is so friendly and helpful. This is one of only two locally owned modern furniture stores in the area that I know of, and Ivy is such a pleasure to work with (whereas the other shop I visited was quite unfriendly!). She has great inventory and can order many pieces not listed on the website from designers she stocks. I have a lot of decisions to make but am looking forward to ordering some pieces from her when I make up my mind, and feel confident after meeting her that she will be able to help me arrive at those right choices and that the process will be enjoyable. I highly recommend her shop to anyone who likes modern furniture! Lots of gorgeous pieces.
