Both my dad & mother are buried here. It is a beautiful resting place, well cared for and maintained. Dad & Mom chose this cemetery as their final resting place.

My great grandfather a WWII veteran was buried here last June. The cemetery staff were amazing people not only for their support but for making sure that we knew that he would be taken care of and looked after.

Stunning! Magnificent! Great care is taken of the site, and you can feel the reverence and respect of the caregivers. This is a MUST see! I was in awe, and while visiting the older section, I got chills thinking about the sacrifice of all the named AND unnamed soldiers!

The cemetery is beautiful and very well kept. My husband asked to be buried there and felt it was an honor. I also have 2 brothers and an uncle buried there. Thank you all who take care of the cemetery.

Very beautiful and so peaceful. We buried my brother there in June of 2020. The grounds are immaculate, the grounds men are so professional and courteous.

Solemn grace as I toured the resting place for men and women that gave time out of their lives to defend our principles, not as a duty but out of honor to serve with no guarantees for their service. An honor to serve and an honor to be laid to rest with fellow veterans.

Well-maintained, as are all the National Cemeteries. Fort Gibson’s is particularly significant for the number of Native American internments.
