Wilson Park

Small but mighty, Wilson Park packs an amenity punch with well-lit tennis courts, paved greenway, mature tree canopy, green space, playground, and shelter with grills. The best feature, however, is the network of forest trails that connects to Carolina North Forest - somewhat of a hidden gem.

It’s a very nice park. Lots of trees. There are spaces to sit and have lunch. There’s a playground and sand box for kids, also tennis courts for those who enjoy playing tennis and trails for those who enjoy running, walking or bird watching. Most importantly, the park isn’t located facing the big road. It’s in residential area, so it’s safer for kids.

We had a granddaughter birthday party. It was all we hoped for. 20+ kids playing in sandbox, on climbing gear, sliding down slides. Parents mixing, meeting us grandparents.

One of the best parks in the area. There's a pavilion with charcoal grills and picnic tables to host a party. A sandpit filled with toys. Tennis courts and baseball field with bleachers. A big kid playground, another next to it for the little ones and another area near the playgrounds with swings. There's multiple trails for hiking and mountain biking, some of the trails lead to Booker Creek, providing scenic views and great backgrounds for family photos.

An excellent park that offers a variety of activities. It also has a nice small trail.

Overall the park is nice and clean, great place to play pickle ball, and is usually not crowded. You should be able to hop right onto the courts! 🎾

This park has everything! I discovered it after just starting a new job in town. The playground equipment (one for bigger kids and one for smaller) is pretty new. Good tennis courts, a ball field, dog friendly walking trails, restrooms, and probably more, I haven't explored it all yet. But regardless, it's a nice little hidden gem close to town. Love it.

Nice park. Baseball diamond, tennis court, and walking trail. The round about for Estes and Greensboro road doesn't have sidewalks on the Estes side, so this park is a convenient shortcut and safer way to travel. I take it almost every day. Paved trail.

This is an amazing park with fun for all

I loved the bike fixing station, the tiny library, and the peaceful friendly vibe. My favorite part was walking the looping trails through the woods at the back of the park. Playground and climbing structure looked fun for kids, and on a weekday afternoon in summer it wasn't very busy.

Great playground with a sand pit for kids. Also plenty of BBQs and covered patio with picnic tables.

Great park with semi shaded play structure, swings(4), and a large sandbox area! Also has tennis courts and walking paths.

Absolutely wonderful place to take your friend and family and your four legged animals as well

It's a great park for playing tennis and also baseball. Lights remain on till at least 10 pm during summers (sometimes 11 pm if you're lucky).
