Came in to town for a show @ Cat's Cradle. Visited this store on a Tuesday. Parking was a pain, but that should not sway you from checking out this gem. One of two vinyl shops in the area. Small and quaint with knowledgeable staff. Was able to find a rare Hip Hop album and a Soundtrack that has been eluding me. A must stop for a vinyl enthusiast and cassette collector alike.

Stopped by while in town for a concert at Cat’s Cradle. The shop has a great vibe and a wonderful selection of music.

Knowledgeable staff, nice finds. Large selection of bluegrass and rare classical- nice break from the hip limited edition reissue scene mixed with trendiest used records with discog price matching. Listening station to check quality. They can be a little late to open, so bring a book or something.

If you're in the market for electronic, experimental, and dance music 12"s, then this is the place to be. I run two dance-oriented radio shows and All Day has been an excellent source for digging. Plus the staff are knowledgeable about both the music and the local scene. DJs take note!

Worked in local owned record shops in my teens and 20s and All Day has them all beat. I love All Day. So much so that I went in to purchase the most embarrassing record possible that my infant loves listening to and more importantly sleeping to just to support this local shop. The Pride and Prejudice soundtrack. Yeah, that’s right. The snarky snark behind the register practically gagged when I asked about ordering it, and I do not blame her. It’s repulsive. I know. Sadly, no one ever called me back to let me know when it would be ordered or when I could pick it up. Hoping All Day is getting slammed with business and doesn’t need mine.

In these days of the declining retail music industry to be able to find an honest record store with a knowledgeable staff is nothing short of incredible. Their selection is good and their pricing is very reasonable. They are a little short in folk music (but I've never seen a place where that is anyones long suit). I consider finding All Day Records my best discovery in years. For the first time in a long time, I am updating my want lists because I have found an excellent source to fill in the holes in my record collection.

All Day For All Day. Coming from the New Jersey area these guys had the best selection for real House and Techno in the Eastern Carolina region. Love how they had a Chicago House Section dedicated to all the Chicago House legends. Almost lost my mind when I saw that, so impressive! I went through so many records yesterday that I loved. I found more on Discogs that I didn't see in the store and ordered within a few hours after I left. Excellent selection and will be a repeat customer!

Browser's paradise, lots of new, old, and local offerings. Looks like used stock turns over frequently (based on size/stock of new arrivals). Particularly strong in electronic and indie rock. Very friendly service.

An extremely pleasant surprise in the college town of Chapel Hill. Not only was the vinyl selection more up my alley than any shop i've been to (Squarepusher, Paranoid London, and Model 500 in a bible belt record store?!), but the prices were desirable, organization was nice and clean, and both Karina and the manager were incredibly accommodating with helping me find everything i wanted right then and there. I could only wish it was closer to home

All Day is one of the Triangle's premiere record shops (along with Carolina Soul in Durham and Record Krate in Raleigh). With a large selection of electronic and punk records, as well as cassettes, anyone who is looking to discover something new will surely be pleased.

This venue never disappoints. They get great acts, easy to get in and out of and the staff is great! Wish every band I wanted to see played here.

Cool and eclectic selection, really friendly folks. Great for used and new. The crank machine stole my 50¢ but I'll let that slide (;
