So happy to have found them. I trust in them implicitly. I have a two year old dachshund who is very calm and happy to work with them. My cat is his cool self with them.

Truly the best staff EVER! Everyone here is communicative, kind, responsive, and only wants the absolute best care for your animals. The team at Meadowmont is always upfront about pricing, and they work within your budget without sacrificing care. Finding this animal hospital has been a relief! I know my cats will be loved and well taken care of by a team of amazing people every visit.

I’m moving out of the state soon, so this will be a hard goodbye!

We took our little Evie the hedgehog today to have her eye checked. Let me tell you...when we first called we were greeted with such kindness and empathy. When we got to our appointment the reception desk employees greeted us immediately and were so nice. When we got into the room, the lab technician was extremely friendly and very understanding of our needs to our little hedgie and knew just how to handle her as well us as hedgie mamas. As for Dr. Max Gordon...such a knowledgeable doc. He really took care of our Evie and explained everything to us thoroughly with all of our questions. Good and bad (the diagnosis ) we left knowing that no matter the outcome she is in great hands. They even asked for us to send update photos before follow up visit.
We came in terrified for our little pocket friend but left with such joy knowing that she is in good hands. Thank you Dr. Gordon and your team for taking care of our prickly little family!!!!

This is one of the few remaining non corporate veterinary hospitals and you can tell. Dr. Robertson is an amazing veterinarian. She is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to get to know her patients and their owners. When my Great Dane had an issue with his eye, she spent time sending me research she had done about the latest evidence based surgical treatments for his condition and was patient and kind in helping me make decisions around his care. She is one of the most amazing professionals I have ever worstaff is lnowfriendly and responsive. We lost Guinea Pig we were fostering who had a seizure related condition that had gone undiagnosed. She had a seizure and I called Meadowmont and they were so kind and caring. They said to bring her in immediately and they would be waiting. She didn’t make it to the car but just knowing that they would be ready to care for our four-legged family members during a health emergency at a moments notice was so reassuring. Even though our foster pig had never been seen at Meadowmont, staff sent a beautiful sympathy card and were so kind and compassionate when I called to let them know we wouldn’t be coming in because she didn’t make it. Dr. Robertson and her staff have been caring for our pets for over a decade and I can’t imagine better care. Meadowmont is by far the best veterinary hospital I have ever worked with. They provide amazing care, customer service, and are also valuable members of the community. Dr. Robertson and her staff volunteer their time and expertise with a number of local animal welfare nonprofits in the area. They are truly amazing.

They go above and beyond! The whole staff is absolutely fantastic; available, responsive, knowledgeable, positive, and kind. They go out of their ways to remember me as well as my cats’ weird names. Feels like a safe family vet! They’ve even helped me with other things like tracking down a stray cat’s owner.

Loved this facility. So clean and professional. Everyone was friendly especially Cassidy. She knew what she was talking about and I felt very comfortable with how I saw she handled my cat and the other animals while in the waiting area. She was confident and great to work with. :) Will definitely recommend!

I have never been to a better vet. Our hamster passed away and they handled the aftercare extremely well! The staff were so nice and caring to us. Highly recommend!!!!

Wonderful experience with the entire team at Meadowmont Animal Hospital! They have been incredibly patient, easy, and kind with my dog, Kiwi! The facilities are always so nice and exceptionally clean. We are so appreciative of them!

We’ve been taking our 2 mini lop rabbits to Dr. Gordon since they were babies. He’s an excellent vet — compassionate and knowledgeable. The Meadowmont staff are always very friendly and helpful. It’s obvious they love their patients and their work. Our oldest rabbit is sassy and obstinate about taking medicine, but Dr Gordon and staff handle our little diva bun gently and with a sense of humor.

Very helpful and friendly staff - they are fantastic with my puppy and answered all of my questions at her initial visit and follow up. I scheduled a spay for her next month, and will be happy to bring my 2 cats in for their next annual physical. Meadowmont was suggested by friends who bring their pets here, and I would also recommend this clinic.

Dr. Ashley and her team have taken great care of my pup over the last three years. The front staff and technicians are lovely and make our visits seamless by considering my dog's leash reactivity and other special needs. When my finances tightened after beginning grad school, Dr. Ashley's team was flexible in the frequency and number of services I requested and helped guide me through keeping my dog's health top priority while on a budget. I've since moved from Chapel Hill to Durham and continue to take my dog to Meadowmont. Thanks to the Meadowmont team for taking great care of my girl!

We have been bringing our hound here since we moved in 2016 and our two kittens since they were born. When one of our kittens ate 5 feet of twine, they really took care of us. Surgery is expensive (this mistake cost us $3,000) but we were treated with care and compassion.

We absolutely love Dr. Robertson and all of the staff at Meadowmont Animal Hospital. When we moved here from out of state and had to find a vet for our 4 dogs, it was a pretty daunting task! But since our very first visit with Dr. Robertson, we have been loyal and appreciative clients. Everyone at this office is so friendly and kind, and you can tell they love animals and take their work to heart. I never have any doubt that everyone here has my pet's best interest in mind and this really puts me at ease. My family cannot recommend Meadowmont and Dr. Robertson highly enough!

Closest exotic vet near me in Alton, VA. Wonderful care. Dr. Gordon followed up a day or so later to check on our feather baby. Compassionate and comprehensive pet care!

What a wonderful experience! I made an appointment for my dog at Meadowmont Animal Hospital as my Vet of many years was unavailable. They got us right in, and handled her issues in a professional and loving way. Dr. Robertson and her assistant were great with my dog (my dog usually hates to go to the Vet.) and showed genuine concern and compassion for her. Dr. Robertson thoroughly explained the tests and procedures that she recommended and prioritized them along with the cost to work with my budget. How refreshing! When the test results came back, she called me after hours to go over the results and suggested several options. I have found my new Vet!!!

Meadowmont has an amazing customer service! Out 6 months old poodle has been going there ever since he was a two month old baby, and they always make all of us feel welcomed and heard.

There was a period when we would call them weekly with our concerns ranging from runny butt to grooming incidents that resulted in a cut on his private area. Every time they assured us that he will be okay and gave us a solution over the phone if possible.

Today, we just ran out of his prescription food while we’re away, and they called the nearest Petsmart for us to take care of the prescription!!!
