We needed to get out of the house so we decided to go to Wahoo Bay since it is close & usually not over crowded with campers. This park used to be free, but they now charge $10 a night according to the new sign by the entrance. There are posts at each spot for you to scan the QR code & you can download the app. Unfortunately, once I downloaded the app yesterday the QR code wasn't working. We are assuming the app might be brand new so they may have some bugs to fix. We are hoping these new fees will help maintain the park. We did notice a few new benches, fire pits, & trash cans so that's great! There aren't a lot of trees it's very open & right by the water. There is a boat ramp so there are a lot of individuals parked by the ramp. There is a public restroom, but I'm not sure what it looks like because we have our own privacy shelter. The roads are nice enough to long board/bike if you want to explore around the park. We have never had an issue at this park. We really love camping here.

This place is beautiful. It's right on the lake. There's grills and picnic tables and fire rings at each campsites. There's also a pretty clean single bathroom available that actually locks. It's pretty peaceful here too. And we haven't ran into any crazy people yet and that's always good.

Really lovely spot. Only 10 dollars a night camping or 5 dollar day use and access pass discounts. Campsites are fairly spread out and everyone we encountered was friendly. We had difficulties with the registration process for same day camping- would prefer to be able to just drop the fee in a lock box- but it is nice to be able to register from the site.

Free camping and a lot of spaces to find. The lake is HUGE, so there's no lack of spots!

Very nice camping lots of fish and no electricity on site . It used to be free but now it’s 10 a night … might as well go to the woods then pay to
Camp without power or clean bathrooms but it’s a very nice place if you don’t mind paying. No shower’s
