Caffè Driade

There is nothing I can say that would really depict the beauty of this place. For the crowds they probably draw, I would hope for more baked good options with dietary restrictions but I did have a gluten free pumpkin bar and it was melt in your mouth delicious especially with the oats beneath the soft pumpkin topping…
The drink was good too, I enjoyed it.

I had brought my son and he was ready to go to an indoor park otherwise I would have brought my laptop and stayed longer.

Here you’ll be walking amongst fairies and transport to another little world here, privacy is an option and being in nature and having yummy treats all at the same time.

Cafe driade has the most lovely fairy forest vibes. There is tons of outdoor seating, both covered and uncovered, so you’ll never be at a loss for a seat. It is essentially a coffee shop in the middle of a forest and it feels so peaceful and relaxing to sit and drink your coffee while watching cardinals and bluebirds flying in the trees. This is definitely my favorite coffee shop in the Durham area, tied only with Guglhupf!

Very good & friendly atmosphere. Lots of different types of people from all walks of life. It feels like a true melting pot. Conducive to meeting others and building community. 🥰

5/5 for the atmosphere. the outside forest space is so magical, definitely a Lord of the Rings vibe. you can sit and chat, or remote work, etc. for hours there. lots of spacious outdoor seating, even a nature trail (but unfortunately didn’t do that this time). the matcha latte was tasty, as well as the croissants!

This is absolutely my favorite place to get coffee in the Chapel Hill area. I'm a bit of a coffee snob and usually always go for the hot latte with oatmilk, and I haven't been disappointed yet. In terms of coffee places in chapel Hill this is my #1 thus far. The flavor of the coffee is always rich and it never tastes watered down. There is always a line on the weekends but there's plenty of space outside. The location is great, there are plenty of benches and small tables and chairs, even heated areas for when it can get cold. Parking can be full at times, they have a few food items but I usually come here for the coffee... In addition they have some indoor seating now as well.

This place was super cute, can see it being a little more magical in the summer when the trees are full of leaves but it was still a great spot in the winter. We have a 2 year old and she enjoyed walking the paths and climbing the rocks as we had hot takeaway drinks with us. There are some stairs that go down to a long path way so you could go for a nice nature walk too.

We had some of the baked items and purchased some beans to take away. All so good.

What a cool place. I didn’t get to explore it all because it was raining, but they have a lot of outdoor seating down beautiful trails canopied with trees. Delicious coffee. Chill atmosphere. The blueberry cream cheese danish was delicious!

Unless you’re in a hurry, don’t waste your time at Starbucks. Never been here before, but waited through line twice - we even took fresh beans home.

Very nice out of the way place to enjoy coffee and other beverages. Plenty of outdoor seating in a nice wooded area. We'll definitely keep coming back.

Coffee is well done and you can’t beat the atmosphere here! The outdoor chairs aren’t the most comfy in my opinion, but that certainly hadn’t stopped me from spending a couple hours here sipping and writing/reading. Had a brown sugar oatmilk latte with a GF monster cookie. Wonderful, friendly staff. Please be patient as lines form and individual care is taken on each order. Inside may be loud depending on conversation, but plenty of outside seating in relaxing wooded scenery, some with canopies for rain/sun protection.

A gem that you can only find in an artsy town. Everyone should feel at home. It's a great place to let your fairy wings out. Even your well behaved dogs. It is best when the weather is good enough to sit outside. There were to go orders not sure why you would not want to enjoy the atmosphere. It was extremely busy on Saturday late morning. Took an hour to get through the line. They said they were low staffed. It happens. You can order ahead of time. The barista calmly filled every order and appeared happy. My husband said it was the best chai tea he has had.

On nice weather days, this place is a slice of heaven! My oat matcha was delicious. There's lots of outdoor seating in a beautiful setting facing a large hill and hiking trails.

Really wonderful atmosphere and outdoor seating. Dog friendly and very relaxed! The coffee and tea are wonderful, and I love their herbal blends!

So many coffee shops come down to one thing, a thing that’s difficult to define or measure and has nothing to do with the quality of the coffee: vibe. On vibe alone, Caffé Driade is five stars. And to solidify its rating, the espresso is rich, the baked goods are fresh and delicious, and the service is kind and timely. There are plenty of seating options around the cafe, affording customers the opportunity to be among the bustle of orders being made or further into the woods for a more serene experience. At the time of my visit, it was a balmy summer day. Had it been a cool fall day, I would have brought a book and stayed for hours.

What a pity that I didn't take any cash or card several days ago when I visited this wonderful coffee shop.It has a big yard and people love sitting outside,chatting or reading.

On August 1st,I finally tasted their Soy latte,delicious and made me energetic.Recommend it to all the coffee lovers in Triangle.

Absolutely love this place. It is stunning and the drinks are incredible!

This was my first time here and I loved the atmosphere. I got a Harvest Spice Latte (hot) and it was delicious. I did add a bit more simple syrup but that's cause I like it sweet. They had plenty of outdoor seating and heaters to keep you warm. I can't wait to go back.

So popular that there's not enough parking. Gorgeous place to sit or stroll during the fall! The snacks and drinks were good.
