We recently moved to Cary and took our cat to Amberly Village Veterinary Hospital for his annual wellness exam at the recommendation of a trusted friend. It’s great to have well informed friends! Dr. Wallace was kind, patient and very gentle with our cat. He took the time to perform a careful and thorough evaluation, answered all our questions, and gave us insights into various aspects of caring for our cat, such as diet, litter and dental care. He was transparent with the fees, and we found them to be an outstanding value. We highly recommend Amberly Village Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for a veterinarian health and wellness home for their beloved pet.

We've been taking our 2 dogs and cat here for over a year, Amberly & Dr Wallace have been the best vet we've ever had! We fully trust him to provide a safe environment & the best treatment possible. He always presents a thorough plan of treatment so we understand our options and what's going on! This is the best place to take your pets in the area, we are so glad to have found amberly and thankful for how well they've treated our dogs and cat!

We've seen Dr Wallace and staff WAY more than we would have liked this year, and every visit was great. Dr Wallace took the time to explain everything to us, options, treatments, etc and staff was always helpful when calling to set up appointments or pickup meds or food. They guided us through to my cat Oliver's end of life with grace and compassion. We feel so grateful that Oliver had such a peaceful experience with such caring animal people. Dr Wallace and his staff are very professional and friendly. Dr Stan was very thorough explaining preventative care and the spay procedure for my yellow lab. Great facilities too!

This was my first time going to this veterinarian and my experience was nothing but positive. The facilities are brand new and exceptionally clean and welcoming. The staff treated me and my buddy with amazing care and kindness. Dr. Wallace was extremely personable and knowledgeable and discussed his reasoning behind his suggestions for treatments and food. Every question I had was answered and they took great care ensuring my pet was comfortable and calm. I am happy to call Amberly Village our new vet.

We recently transferred our pup's care to Dr. Wallace and have been so pleased with him and his staff. He is very knowledgeable and explains the why to all medical decisions, which I so appreciate! He diagnosed and treated our pup for environmental allergies and he feels so much better! I could not be happier with our care and will recommend Dr. Wallace and his team to everyone😊

My beloved dog was diagnosed with late stage kidney failure from Carpenter animal hospital. The vet called me with a lab result and told to get my dog "euthanized" (the word she used) as soon as possible for a humane reason. I called Amberly for a second opinion. We met with Dr. Wallace the next day and he took his time explaining and evaluating all the possible options and offered his professional recommendations. He would respect any decision we make. He also comforted us with his compassion even though that was the first time we met. He used "put her to sleep", not "euthanize". The whole process was heart-breaking to us but we all so grateful for his and the assistants' patience for us to stay with our family member for 15 years to the last step.
I wish I had changed the vet much earlier. My dog would have been taken care better with love and professional knowledge with Dr. Wallace.
They are short of staff so be patient. Call again if you do not hear back from them right away. It is worth the wait.

Dr. Wallace is great and we have 2 dogs we bring here. The staff is very personable and nice. Dr. Wallace always discusses research to back decisions and recommendations which I appreciate. We moved across town but still drive back here for appointments because we like them so much!

No question, this is the best place to bring your pet. The entire office is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Dr. Wallace is amazing! Dr. Wallace and his staff are just incredible. We recently moved to the area and brought our 10-year-old dog in for a wellness visit as he is not the young pup he once was. The staff was so helpful in getting us scheduled but what blew us away was what happened when we came in. Right off the bat, the ladies there were familiar with everything in the files that the previous vet sent over. We have moved around a lot, and this was the first time I’ve ever experienced a vet's office that actually looked at the records sent over. Once we met with Dr. Wallace, we were again shocked that he had also combed through our dogs records and even highlighted items he wanted to go over. We felt right away that we were in great hands. In addition, I would like to note that the entire staff was so gentle and kind with our dog and took the extra time to make sure we covered everything and had all our questions answered.

Before switching, we’d been with Carpenter Animal Hospital & so happy we made the switch! Dr. Wallace is fantastic! so patient, knowledgeable, personable& Jill was so sweet to our 15 year old cat. No idea how anyone could say they are taking you for your money... no way. He gave us options & was very upfront on cost. The new office is very nice & set-up so well.

Like a lot pet owners, I could not love my pet more. The care she receives mean so much to me. This was the best experience I have had with a veterinary hospital. Most veterinary offices these days are too similar to the doctors office. Way too cold and clinical. As people, we expect that. We know why we are there. Animals do not understand, and going to the vet can be a traumatic experience for them. This place is totally different. It was so easy to see the genuine concern and kindness. I believe that Dr. Wallace understands exactly how much our pets mean to us, and he took care of my little girl like she were his own. If anyone has ever had a bad experience with a vet, or worries that their vet sees their animal as just a way to make money, I cannot recommend Amberly Village Veterinary Hospital strongly enough. You will feel the difference the first time you walk through the door. So will your pet. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

Absolutely the best veterinary experience me and my cat have had. She was relaxed during the exam because Dr. Wallace and his staff helped her feel as safe as possible. My cat was extremely nervous in the waiting room and had peed on herself. Everyone there made her comfortable even after that happened. They cleaned up her transport box and the floor with much understanding. All of her health concerns were covered, and I was offered the best prescription food for her diet. Their cat examination room was spectacular, and my Bella was almost immediately lying down and looking out the window, relaxed! I will definitely be going here as her regular vet.

For me, it has been difficult finding a veterinarian clinic in this area, that takes the time to listen to my needs and concerns about my dog. For 5 years I went to a clinic that is voted the best in the area. Amberly Village Clinic was recommended to me by a neighbor and I made a change. Dr. Wallace and his staff took the time to listen to my concerns. His office is stress free. I highly recommend Dr. Wallace.

Dr. Wallace is amazing and it is very clear how much he cares for the pets he sees. We were unhappy with our vet and switched to his practice based on a friends recommendation. I wish Dr Wallace had been here 10 years ago when we first got our dog. His knowledge and service is on a whole different level.

Dr. Wallace is the best vet we’ve ever seen. He successfully removed sarcoma from our dog with surgery twice. Even sent us a text with a pic when she was out of surgery which I thought was really special, especially for a worried Mama! He’s very caring, explains everything very clearly. He even drove my dog home in his truck when she couldn’t walk and we had trouble getting her in our car. Talk about dedicated! My only complaint is that things are pretty hectic and although the assistants are all great, seems they could def use more help with reception/scheduling.

All positives things to say about this location and team. Our dog injured his knee late one night. After calling multiple locations the next day that were either closed or has no availability, this location was able to take him in for xrays and assessments. Dr. Wallace took great care of my dog and explain all that was going on. The front desk was also very helpful and reliable.

Dr Wallace always takes time to explain the possible root causes and treatment plans to us. Being the first time dog owner, we visited vet more than we wanted to this year. With each visit, I don’t feel being rushed at all. I can see Dr. Wallace and his staff’s love for animals, it gave me a peace of mind by going there.

We are so grateful for finding Dr. Stan Wallace at Amberly Village Veterinary Hospital. Our beloved puppy suffered a life threatening illness several weeks ago. Dr. Wallace helped treat our dog throughout the weekend, made himself available to guide us in making the decision to have her care escalated to NC State Vet Hospital. She received care at NC State for 9 days. Dr. Wallace checked in with us everyday and helped us advocate for our dog which ultimately saved her life. He is the most compassionate, caring and professional Veterinarian I have ever had the honor of working with. Thank you Dr. Wallace and your wonderful staff. Our family will forever be grateful for your generosity♥
