Bubba's Catfish House

Good Food, good service. My wife loved the shrimp. The hamburger steak and fries were delicious too. They always have a special, seafood platter for $14.99 is a steal, not a deal!.

I am from Iowa. My uncle Ken Hammitte took me there. The very best cat fish I have ever eaten. The owner met us at us at the door and accomdated our party of nine. Great service by our waitress. If I am ever in the area again, you can be sure I will eat there. I have told a number of people how great their catfish is.

This was our first time visiting Bubba's Catfish House and it was pretty good! There are no other seafood restaurants in the Meridian area that are worth a flip, but Bubba's didn't disappoint! My wife had grilled shrimp, with fries and hushpuppies. I had the special which was smoked chicken, brisket, sausage, and ribs. They also bring you a big ole bowl and delicious cole slaw!! The food was great, but the service was ok, they may have just been having an off night and it's understandable in the food service industry. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, just a small country seafood restaurant. We will definitely be back in the future!!

Went to this place for the first time today , everything was good (food) especially the service. We will definitely go again. If you do get the chance to stop in there ask for the firecracker shrimp they are really good .

At what appears to be a small unassuming local dinner, locals & travelers are welcomed with a smile and hometown charm. Wonderful homemade coleslaw comes out to the table while you wait for your meal. Fried green tomatoes were a special appetizer and they were fried to perfection. The hamburger was large! I could not finish the whole thing! My husband and son ordered the fried catfish plate. The fish was clean and flaky. Hush puppies were delicious, too. I would absolutely recommend checking them out!

First time eating at this establishment. Purchased a small fish filet combo and a crawfish poboy combo. Received absolutely tremendous service. Kate is EXCELLENT. Food tasted delicious and very fresh.

Please note: In the photos, there is approximately 20% of the actual sandwich left. (It was super delicious. We were lucky to have caught that piece for a photo! 😉)

Will revisit again.

Was passing through and Google led me here. Good solid food options, very friendly waitress, nice atmosphere. Just a cozy neighborhood kind of place, well priced comfort food. Excellent cole slaw, tasty catfish...just what I was on the lookout for.

Food was delicious. We had fried shrimp, peel and eat shrimp, fish catfish bites, 3 large, very good hushpuppies, coleslaw and 2 drinks. Each platter special was $14.99. Good friendly service.

This place is great! We had Bubbas platter and came back to the next day for po-boys. Great food and friendly atmosphere. Cole slaw rocked and the friend fish, oysters and shrimp were great. Grilled shrimp with ribeye pO-boy was excellent!!

Shrimp Po’boy was amazing as was the fresh pattied cheeseburger. Excellent service. Coleslaw while you wait for food. Prices are very reasonable and tons of food. Definitely worth the stop. Will visit again.

Small, clean, friendly! Catfish was amazing, hushpuppies were a hit. Can't wait to come back and try the oysters!

This restaurant is always top notch. The food is great. The service is A+. They treat you like family and always make sure you have plenty food. You will never leave hungry and if you do, it's your own fault.

Love the food! Best whole catfish anywhere. Love the staff too. And quick service. Comfortable, laid-back environment. I got the steak po-boy and it was delicious!!

Quick and painless meals. Inexpensive, very tasty and one of the best restaurants in the area. Plenty of options. Seafood, beef, chicken and BBQ.

Not open many days but worth it when they are. One of my go to's when I'm in the area!

Took my crew there for lunch. This small family owned restaurant!!!! Knocked it out of the park when it comes to food. It's good quality food and oh my goodness great quantity as well. The catfish was to dye for. The steak was 10oz but size of 16oz the texture was spot on. The pork chop was a bone in pork chop 3 inches thick and grilled to perfection. I will be going back here definitely for another meal. The service was 110% + All friendly and made sure you as the customer was taken care of.

Very small place. I liked my Fatboy and thought the Catfish filet bites were good too. The fries were hand cut and fresh. The coleslaw was good with a hint of sweet and pickles. Food was pretty quick. The sweet tea was good too. Enjoyed the experience.

Went here on Saturday after a recommendation from a friend. Food was awesome and service was great! Everyone was friendly that we were in contact with. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Would recommend this restaurant. We had the catfish and it was perfectly cooked! Great job! Also on a side note it’s close to Clarkco State Park if you are lodging there.
