Marriott St. Louis Grand

I stayed here as part of a business conference put on by my employer. It's a very nice hotel all around. Their catering of our meals was awesome, with a variety of food and beverage options. The building itself is modern with classic architecture. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained. I'd suggest checking your safe immediately upon arrival if you really require it. Mine never locked, but I didn't absolutely need either. They were quick to send people up to attempt fixing it and offered me another room or option, though.

On arrival the staff and front desk were courteous. My room was ready and upgraded as requested. The Club Lounge provided a good sort of snacks and appetizers were excellent. Manage to enjoy the fresh fruits and breakfast. Room was adequate and clean. Hotel is at good location where everything can be accessed by foot.

The customer service was great. However the issue with cleanliness became apparent when I got to my room. There were dried substances on the walls and toilet seat along with a strange smell in my room. The toilet flushing system was the biggest problem and I had to have maintenance called. I’d suggest maybe keeping the seats down the entire stay.

The rooms are small. Remind me of soho. Very comfortable. The service was slow in the restaurant; however, the food was good. They good with servicing us.

This review is to acknowledge a kickbutt bartender named Pam W. She's the best! Give her all the money. On a different note - it is a Marriott, so it's very nice, but "expensive" please wear comfortable walking shoes and be ready for a trek to the conference rooms / ball rooms / foyer. And you're stateroom will be a heckuva hike! Yay

This is truly a grand hotel. Beautiful, clean, centrally located in the heart of downtown. I was here for a work conference and couldn't have been happier. The rooms were a bit small, and the service for catered meals for the conference left a little to be desired because I am sure the hotel is understaffed. I will stay at this beautiful, historic, luxury landmark again if I ever have the chance. Do not park at the hotel unless you have no other option! $35 per day to park is ridiculous. Use the metrolink if at all possible.

I had a last minute booking and accidentally stumbled onto a hidden gem downtown. I have walked past this hotel plenty of times, but never walked in until I booked (05/24). The lobby and bar areas were nicely furnished.

Service was excellent. Alejandro C. And Zack L. got me checked in and made the process simple even though I booked same day. The location is great too. You are in walking distance to plenty of restaurants. Uber and Lyft rides to other parts of downtown are cheap.

The hotel provides parking. The price might seem steep but gambling with downtown parking/safety might be worth it. I definitely suggest unloading in front of the hotel because the garage is on the next street up.

All in all, this is now on my list of favorite hotels in the downtown area. Enjoy!

Nice hotel in the downtown St. Louis area. Short walk away from the baseball stadium and a bunch of good food options. Clean rooms. A little tight on space but overall nice. Friendly staff.

I was very impressed with the service I got here. We had an unexpected surprise on our trip - 2 abandoned puppies that needed care! The manager, Jacob, personally returned my call and was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to help us deal with the situation. Next time we are in town we will be booking at the Marriott St. Louis Grand!

This is an overall great location to stay in the heart of St. Louis. Absolutely no complaints. The facilities here are very well kept and the room was tidy and clean upon arrival. I would stay here again. My only grudge is the navigation of the detached parking garage, but outside of that, I would recommend book with Marriott St. Louis Grand!

There is a Starbucks at this location and a restaurant, bar, and market. The parking garage is around the corner. The Blues Museum and the Dome stadium are within a quick walking distance. There are also several restaurants within walking distance.

I went for a work trip and it was a great and enjoyable stay. No complaints or issues. The staff were nice and helpful with local information and places to eat.

This was a wonderful experience. This property provides everything I’ve come to expect from Marriott. Welcoming staff, prime location downtown, and comfortable room. We used this facility for a conference and the staff was on top of their game the entire time. Room felt a little cramped, but had all of the expected pieces and accessories. Food in the hotel was phenomenal. This location is surrounded by great restaurants, entertainment, shopping, etc., with easy access to the local roads and interstate.

Beautiful, this hotel is number one rated for any guest in or out of town to stay in, and it's surrounded many restaurants all over the area from burger, fries, to the finest steak.

Was in town for a work function, and was pleasantly surprised by this Marriott location. Perhaps it was because it was Winter that it was very quiet, which we workin' folks really appreciate.

Rooms are like the old efficiency motels, with kitchenettes. Clean, and laid out in a convenient way, with a separate sitting area.

Everyone, from the front desk to the maid service to the valets were great -friendly, helpful, accommodating. Good morning coffee, tasty breakfast fare. And in the afternoons/evenings, let their great bartender fix you a drink -she has a deft hand! She was great, think I remember her name is Natalie? She was awesome with our group! Thanks so much for a pleasant stay in St. Louis!

I visited this hotel for a technical conference. While I didn't stay in the facility overnight, I can tell it is a stately facility in a historic downtown location. There is a subway station within walking distance a a great BBQ restaurant as well.

The staff here have been some of the nicest hospitality staff that I have experienced in my life. From the front desk and their helpful attitude, to the bellman delivering a key card, and the hostess at the breakfast cafe, every one of them has been fantastic. If there's an award that Marriott gives for excellent service, this property deserves the highest level.

Walkable to really everything you will need. The employees there were hands down the best hotel staff I had come across. I was there these past couple of days for a conference, and I knew I was okay even alone because the employees keep an eye on you to ensure you are comfortable with who is around you. I really could just continue to praise the employees because, really, every single one I came across regardless of their position were simply the best. Other hotels better step up their standards because these individuals step the barvery high. Thank you for a beautiful experience.

I was here for a convention in mid-May and I was pleased. Given the lack of a fully staffed cleaning staff, the hotel was clean!
The bar has great food and given the labor shortage they do a good job.
They lack restaurant healthy menu choices however, that not what the average convention goer wants.
It’s clear the staff try their hardest to make your experience great and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel, using their bar, and their amazing Starbucks!

Great stay and excellent checkin service, quick, less hassle, and great room. My only dislike is that they did not provide soap in my room (instead i was given 2 shampoos). After calling the front desk/room service, they promised to provide bar-soap, but none were ever sent to my room.
