Sweet Old Bill's

I really loved my experience at Sweet Old Bill's. The service was top tier, and the food was GOODT and seasoned! However, I must be honest and say that I got sick and threw my food up a couple of hours later. My husband and daughter were fine. I ordered the salmon.

Just finished playing at a nearby kids’ play park and boy were we HUNGRY!

After doing a search for nearby highly rated places, we landed here. I was worried it would be way too packed to get seating at lunchtime given its full parking lot and bustle, but we were seated relatively quickly. And considering all the food we ordered, it came out relatively quickly too!

I ordered ribs and hubby had a sampling of items from chicken, brisket and think ribs as well. The kids LOVED the brisket and the chicken was surprisingly well cooked too. I always find bbq chicken to be dry and lacking blended flavor throughout the bite, but it wasn’t the case with this one. It was more validating that the kids actually ate a lot of the plate as well.

Sweet potatoes and hush puppy sides were extra items we ordered and it’s more or less what you’d expect.

Overall, solid place we’d probably visit again!

I have been in Highpoint only a couple weeks, but I definitely have a new favorite eatery. The burger was terrific, the fries hot and crispy, and their corn pudding (though it could be a bit hotter) was sweet and the sort of thing you just do not usually find. My server was busy as anything but still managed to check on me regularly and get me everything I needed mostly before I asked. All in all a great meal. Not cheap but not expensive either. Very nice, definitely recommend it.

We went on Fathers Day so they had shortened the menu to only the brunch menu. They were also very short on staff. In spite of all this we had a very good experience. The food was great! They have an extensive beer and drink menu. And they had games going on all over the restaurant, but, it wasn’t loud. Talking was easy to hear and it was definitely kid friendly. I would definitely recommend Sweet Old Bills.

Some of the best BBQ ever! Did not even put sauce on it. The meat was delicious without adding any sauce.

I had a great experience eating here. This was my first time. The food was good and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend eating here. We tried several different items off the menu to see how they were. It was all good. Thumbs up.

I find it worth a 1 hour drive to eat here.

The service is next level. Be prepared to tip extra just because you end up liking your server so much.

I think everything I've had here so far is excellent, but I especially found the pork skins and collar greens next level. The bbq I had was nice and their sauces elevate it.

Food is great staff is friendly place is clean . Will definitely return. I recommend the North of Havana it was a great sandwich only thing I’d change is add pickles.

They were out of several things but in we didn't complain in the end because everything we ended up getting was was wonderful! You can't go wrong with any of the sides here. We've made several return trip and always the food is great and the service is good, too.

I have eaten here several times. The food is really good. Sometimes the service can be a little slow, probably due to certain times of the day, like lunch time. But definitely will come back again.

The food at Sweet Old Bills is awesome. My favorite dishes are the pulled pork, collard greens, brisket and ribs. So tasty!

Found this little hole in the wall in high point area. Food was great and service was fast. No complaints about either. Had no problem finding the picky kids something. Couldn't finish the massive sandwich, but to me thats a good thing lol.

This place is 10/10 ! Vibrant, fun, clean, well run, delicious! They have a staff that seem happy to be at work! They have delicious food, craft cocktails and a fantastic ambiance with inside and outside seating! I can't wait to come back to HPU for the next parents weekend and come here!

Great food. Great service. We went on Saturday night and they had a live band. The bar area had tons of atmosphere with plenty of beer and wine options. It is located right next to brown truck brewery which is extremely convenient. The goat burger was really good. The brisket nachos are so good id write home about it. You must go here. This has become a high point staple. If you live in high point or just visiting please make this a stop on your list.

Went for a late dinner. I ordered the Porky burger and my girlfriend ordered the Chicken Q sandwich. Both ordered water. We received our water right after we ordered, and our food very soon after. Both meals were delicious. Highly recommend the porker burger. Total for two meals was 26$
We just so happened to visit on trivia night and went on to win second place. Received a 20$ gift card. Definitely will be returning when we’re in high point.

Fantastic local southern food with a classic bar menu and a great beer on tap selection.

The vegetable sides menu is extensive so I felt compelled to mention it first. The collards were sweet and seasoned with a dash of bacon I think. Availability from the menu is subject to what they can get.

I had the fried pork skins appetizer and it came out sizzling, which I've never had before. It was served with a little bowl of beer cheese which made it an amazingly great appetizer. If you're not a Southerner, with a capital S, then you just won't get it.

The pimento cheese and bacon burger was terrific and just juicy enough to satisfy yet not fall apart.

They still have lemon drop and apple-tinis on the drink menu along with some college staples with red bull as well as a good local beer selection.

Food choices are a little limited, but is delish. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I highly recommend.

We ate there last night, and the service and food was out of this world. Best hamburger I've eaten in along time. The restaurant was quite busy, but our server was very attentive and efficient. I rated this place 5 stars.

Great food. Great service! The sweet potato fries were delicious! Fresh tasting food and I'm looking forward to returning to try the nachos!
