Courtyard by Marriott St. Louis Downtown/Convention Center

I flew in from Texas for "The Mantled For This" Conference. I was one of the speakers and I tell you this hotel made my stay very pleasant!
This hotel absolutely sets the bar high! Everything was absolutely awesome. I went down to purchase breakfast and it was amazing "avocado toast"! The staff was so nice. Maintenance had to come to my room and he was the sweetest! If I'm ever in St.Louis again this will definitely be my first choice if I'm in that area!

Wow, just wow! Not your normal Courtyard appearance - an old building with a lot of the old decorations restored which creates a rich ambience. I love the entrance and lobby with its fine furniture. The fragrance in the building is also welcoming. Upkeep of the rooms is exquisite. You definitely need to stay at this hotel to experience it for yourself. Close/walking distance to tourist sites.

My sister and I were traveling to St. Louis for the eclipse and we had originally booked another hotel, but quickly found ourselves checking out of that hotel and into this one!

The staff was great here, from the ladies at the concierge desk, the valet staff, the staff at the bar etc. Everyone was nice and pleasant.

There is breakfast bar and a lunch/dinner bistro and while we didn't have any dinner there, the breakfast availability had a good range and the food was delicious.

The hotel was also close to other restaurants, the metro which provides easy access to the Gateway Arch and Busch Stadium.

Beautiful hotel, room was clean, spacious and had a great view! Parking was a bit confusing as it is off site a block away, recommend using valet, but can be a bit pricy.

Wonderful stay at the Courtyard STL Downtown Convention Center. I've stayed in at least ten other STL hotels the past few years. This was the nicest/as nice as any and I look forward to returning. My first hotel priority is simply a quiet night's rest. They kindly gave me a 17th floor room on the back side. Absolutely quiet. Second priority is clean. Room was super clean, and comfortable. That it was a quiet week at the convention center probably helped, as the hotel occupancy rate was on the lower side...but it was perfect as a result. Ten min walk to Busch Stadium. Schnucks two blocks away. Service for the quick breakfast sandwich at the coffee counter was quick, engaging, and professional. Pro Tip: Use ParkWhiz to prepay for parking at the 761 N. 10th St. parking lot, which is also known as 1010 Convention Plaza. It's a short 1 block walk to the hotel. $12 for 24 hours of parking, a nice savings compared to $45 valet or the Marriott Grand price across the street. Again, parking was likely less than normal given no convention or Dome event upcharge, but I was thrilled. I look forward to being back.

Great staff, great place. The recent renovations are comfortable and classy. Looking forward to staying next time.

The staff there is awesome!!!! It was weird because when it was time to check out, I felt Iike I was leaving my family. Very friendly and intimate service.👍🏻👍🏻

This has very easily become one of my favorite Marriott properties when I come to St. Louis. It's conviently located in the middle of downtown, it is reasonably priced, and the staff is warm, friendly, and so helpful; from the valet, to the front desk, to housekeeping. I had such a great stay and I'm looking forward to my next one.

Beautiful hotel with a great history. If the walls could talk, they would. You can just feel the strong presence of this hotel. Built somewhere around 1929.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Always attentive and kind. The food was really good. I ate breakfast here every morning for my 5 day stay. It was that good that I kept coming back. Also Starbucks right there so it’s nice to have your drinks available.

Only strange thing I’ll say about my stay at this hotel is the energy. Every night around 3AM I would wake up wide awake. The place definitely felt like it was a bit haunted. I never saw anything, but my coworkers would say they saw shadows move out of the corner of their eye. Also I know they have had paranormal professionals come in to confirm the ghost presence… they won’t harm you! But I definitely felt ghost presence at this hotel! That being said, I would stay again.

The staff here is so wonderful. I was sort of a mess on this trip and kept leaving stuff all over. Twice they returned my belongings directly to me with a smile. Everyone was so friendly and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. What more could you ask for?

We organized a room block here for our wedding guests and we heard lots of comments that it was a nice hotel. Rachel and Kenya were great to work with to set up the courtesy room block. The hotel is walking distance to tourist attractions (City Museum, Arch, Ballpark Village).

Awesome rooms ...comfortable and clean...employees were helpful and friendly..great experience!

The only complaint I have is we had dinner in the dining room. The service very slow I had to ask four times For bread Then the waiter sit. Are bread at an empty table behind us.
I had to ask 4 × 4 something to drink. And their excuse was that they were filling orders for room service. This is unexcusable and unacceptable and I hope. That the CEO of Marriott reads these things because this needs attention.

Starbucks downstairs! Clean room, friendly staff, walking distance to restaurants, quiet area next to FBI bldg. Would stay here again.

Rooms were big and clean. Shower was good and tub drained fast. Toilet was water saver and required multiple flushes. Elevators were fast. Staff at desk friendly and helpful. Convenient to convention center. Parking is expensive and not close. But great stay and would do again.

Convenient location next to the convention center. The hotel room was large, clean, and recently updated. Although the room was near the elevator, there was no noticeable hallway noise. The lobby area is a bit small and dark, but clean with a good layout given the small space. Elevator cabs need a cosmetic update. Highly recommend this hotel. Reasonable price. Friendly service.

A short business trip put me in downtown St. Louis and a stay at the beautiful Courtyard by Marriott St. Louis Hotel. An excellent staff, with very nice rooms and extremely well-kept facilities. Mona at the restaurant/bar is an excellent host, and I enjoyed the opportunity to meet her! Great views. Walking distance to Busch Stadium and multiple other destinations. Overall, it was a great place!

This place was awesome! This is truly a hidden treasure in this city. Reasonably priced. Clean updated rooms. Security room cards for the elevator. The area wasn't overly busy, and the local restaurants were delicious and friendly. We had a HORRIBLE experience at the Regency 2 days prior, and for the same cost, we came here, and it was amazing top to bottom. We were on the 16th floor, and there's a pic of the view below. Good food. Good people. Great ambiance. Will stay here again of back in St. Louis!

5/5 for a 3 star hotel. Hope that makes sense: it does exactly what is says on the tin: clean, comfortable but not luxurious, friendly enough staff, great value for money. My favourite short business stay hotel brand.
