I went by Carmax looking for something nice for me and my 2 dogs and Ms Mary Ann was wonderful! She helped me select the perfect vehicle! She explained the ins and outs of the financing process, any necessary extras, and the next thing I knew me, Roxy, and King were cruising the roads. Ms Mary Ann is amazing!!! Every step of the purchase process was problem free. The salesperson, appraiser, paperwork diva were all experts at their job. I feel that all of them went above and beyond to make my purchase experience a great one.

I bought a Jeep from CarMax. I did all my looking and tire kicking online. Great selection of years, models, feature rich to base models.

It was in Virginia and they shipped it up Maryland in the same day I confirmed my interest. The pics online were a great representation of the Jeep when I saw and test drove it.

I came with financing so that saved me 2 hours. In the docs room, the person taking me thru the scores of pages was very efficient. I was even impressed that I left with actual MD plates.

All in all, it was a positive experience.

After Mary Ann found my daughter the perfect-size car for her and her 2 big dogs, I imagined Mary Ann could also perfectly provide for my needs, too. I wanted a vehicle with excellent gas mileage as I travel back and forth with my delivery and catering business. I just put her in charge of finding me a car and she did!! Mary Ann was like, “Mark, how about an EV? I guarantee you’d never have to visit a gas station again!” Well, I couldn’t be happier with her superb suggestion. Mary Ann is magnificent!! Amazing and top-notch!! Give this lady a raise!!!

Found the car I wanted at another of their locations. They brought it down to me with no issues for a test drive. The sale was super smooth. I took the vehicle to our mechanic, who found a few items that needed to be addressed. Carmax was awesome; they arranged the service and got me a lift ride home, as I have another car to use and didn't need a loaner. They arranged to bring me back once the service was done and everything was covered, as stated in the warranty. I am very happy with my new vehicle.

I had to sell a vehicle quick and they were quick and more! Start to finish in less than 2 hrs! Very happy! Recommend them highly. Very nice people and great customer service. I’ve bought and sold many cars and this was by far my best experience.

We found a car we loved! It had a mechanical issue in the end but Carmax was there with great service. We definitely would buy from them again and if the repair is completed we will be back! I wouldn't trust the process to any other company, Carmax is here to stay and they support their customers. From test drive to tags, I can't recommend the Ellicott Cit Maryland store enough. Kind people, they go above and beyond to make sure your car buying experience is as good as it gets. I would recommend them over any dealer 100%. We are satisfied.

Jay was awesome!! Told him our budget, and in the end came out with a great car with the down payment, and a monthly payment my fiancé wanted. The process was extremely easy, and pretty fast. (Yall have to understand it’s tax season so be patient they’re doing the best they can managing customers) will come back for my car, and my fiancé will definitely come back for her next car!!

My selling experience with CarMax was very positive. The entire process was quick, smooth, professional, and convenient. The atmosphere was pleasant and the establishment was nicely appointed. Very easy experience! We got an online quote, made an appointment and were seen on time. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. They checked over our car and offered us the full amount of the online quote. Took about 90 minutes start to finish. We highly recommend CarMax!

Overall great experience, from start to finish. I appreciated how you could always get someone on the phone to talk to. They made the process of buy and trading a car very easy, and the option for a fast checkout by taking care of a lot of paperwork online was great.

Getting an offer from Carmax on our pick-up truck was very easy and quick. Bill, our Carmax contact, could not have been more helpful and patient with us. The offer we received was higher than we had anticipated. In the end, however, a nephew decided he had to have the truck after he learned we were going to sell it to Carmax.

Mr. Pete and his team were truly a blessing! My car’s transmission had just went up, after overspending on rentals and taking bus trips for a few weeks I figured I’d just have to finance another car for me and my little ones. Determined, I caught a Lyft to Carmax with my very energetic 18mo and what I had for my down payment. Mr. Pete was patient and made me feel very comfortable, he didn’t mind my chatty little toddler and even helped me with his car seat. After just 4.5 hours we left with the exact vehicle that I reserved to see. Mr. Pete was just as determined as me, he and his team helped me get my required down payment lowered by communicating with the bank on my behalf, mind ya, I went in on Saturday evening so I’m sure we were somewhat limited to less finance options. Mr. Pete made sure I understood my warranty options and even gave me advice on what to do with my other car. It’s such a reassuring feeling when you know that someone cares about your outcome. I truly trust that I made the right decision coming to Carmax and I am very happy that I did. Thank you!
