Wentzville United Methodist Church

This is our home church where we belong, are treated like members of the family of God, and also find spiritual nourishment for our souls. This is a church with a heart for God, our members and our neighbors. Our band leads a Gospel Jam here once month on the 4th Saturday, including musicians from throughout the community. Very inclusive church community. Extremely welcoming! Very involved in community outreach. Such an awesome place to worship!

For sure the best Youth Group l have ever had. Small group but everyone is very close. Also very active in the church and community.

My group, Riven Quartet, sang here yesterday. The grounds are beautiful, the people were friendly, and the music was great! The music minister, Todd, was a great guy!

This week worship service was very moving and welcoming. The music was awesome and the people we worshiped with were inspiring. Such a lovely church.

Me and my family had a great experience visiting Wentzville umc. The pastor and congregation were warm and welcoming to us and they had friendly young families to get to know too!

The 9:30 small group is the best I have ever been a member of. Come join us. We are fun and dedicated Christians.

Spent 3 days here shooting photos with a company I work for and had 2 couples and 1 individual mention how much they liked living in Wentzville because there were no black people, so crime was low.
On the last day, I brought in a mixed race couple that were celebrating their 12th anniversary, and the custodian lady flipped out completely. She would not let the couple out of her sight, litterally stalking them, then when I sat down with the couple to show them their photos, she came into the room screaming and yelling for me to get them out so I could continue shooting church members. It should be noted, we were 2 hours ahead of schedule and ended up finishing the day early even though she claimed that taking photos of a mixed race couple put them behind schedule. She then called my company to complain.
The couple left feeling threatened and abused.
This is a "Christian" church. I wonder which part of Jesus teachings they draw from to rationalize this type of behavior?
