Military medical has been through a lot of changes in the last three years. I think even with staffing challenges and having to deal with a brand new medical record that this team is working hard to keep patients healthy and get them the care that they need.

Some of the best care I've received at a small medical facility.

Caring, conscientious staff, waiting time, minimal.

I've been the clinic a few times already. People told me I would wait for ever. My experience has been the opposite so far. The pharmacy wait at most 20 min. The lab depart have a very professional corpsman staff. So far I'm please with the clinic. Keep up the good work.

Not bad for a JRB clinic. Wish they had sick call though.

I had my bad experiences with medical- now I receive my care off base but I do get my prescriptions through their pharmacy. Even though you call it in and go on the day & time given, you will still need to wait 30/45 mins and/or they will say they don’t have it ready until the next day.

Usually helpful for retirees even though wait times around 90 min for refills. Today denied same day refills due to "policy" i never heard of before. Unsat Shipmate!

In the dozen or so times I have called them the last few months, they have answered the phone once. Can y'all please answer the phone? Or at least let us leave a message so we can be eventually called back? I used to work around this by going in person to set up an appointment but now I live off base so it isn't so easy. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect to be able to make an appointment.

This clinic has gone downhill since the epidemic started. I attempted to make an appointment for my dependent and was given a date two weeks out without a time. He then told me to visit the emergency room or an urgent care. And, he promptly hung up on me. My next step, requesting a new healthcare clinic!

In 30 years of receiving services all over the country as well as in Europe, this health clinic is the absolute worst our family has ever experienced. At an initial visit to meet our new PCM, my daughter was told initially by the PCM O. Mogaji LTJG physician assistant that there was so much to unpack when my daughter presented with sore throat, wheezing and green sputum. The physician assistant told her she had so many patients to see and only had 20 min. My daughter needed her daily refills of medicines and was requesting a referral for an ENT because of chronic sinusitis, bronchitis and tonsillitis. This PA never assessed my daughters throat, nose or ears. However she did palpate her abdomen and told her she had wheezing in her chest. I have made numerous phone calls to them to check in the referral. Unfortunately this PA put the referral in as a routine referral instead of an urgent one. I am told by Tricare that 7 days is the processing time for the input of a routine referral. I attempted to speak with others there to assist us to no avail. As others have stated, no one answers phones and the voice messages don’t correlate with the persons you’re attempting to reach. This is an absolute disservice to all military attempting to receive services here as well as a complete incompetent and dangerous primary care provider who is practicing here. A team manager called me to hear my complaint and argued with me that the clinic is not for emergencies. This was not an emergency but a required visit by tri care to obtain a referral. Completely unacceptable.

Hands down the worst experience I’ve had with Navy Medical. You go to the doc when you need help, these are the least helpful PCM team with the hands down some of the worst customer service experience at least in the medical home reception desk

The WORST care I’ve received in the military. They do not know how to do a referral to save their lives. It took 7 calls to get a simple referral for a ultrasound to check to see if my child has a serious condition…..

The staff Care greatly however because it's a government job they can still be lazy. As well it seems some departments are overwhelmed and could do for additional staffing. The concept of splitting Navy and Air Force side does not make any sense when you turn over your ID and everybody has a DOD number it would be nice to see them work together instead of two different sides of the medical facility.

If you have a family Member with a health condition do not come to this base. Do not come to Louisiana at all. 5 month wait for appointments but they will not allow you to go elsewhere.

This is literally the worst medical command I've ever seen.

Watched my doctor walk right past me after waiting 40 minutes just for her to go get her lunch in front me and come back in like everything was normal when she seen me . Never checked out my real problem which was my FOOT NEVER HELPED RESOLVE THE SOLUTION.

The navy medical is absolutely the worst I’ve ever seen. Their level of incompetence totally absurd. They should not be allowed to remain open.
