Very nice local park with a decently challenging play structure for older children. Younger children will enjoy a structure great for the 2 to 5 range. Parents of new walkers will like the same structure when the park is more empty since there aren't too many ways down. Only negative is no real restrooms, only an out house.

The basketball courts are well used. There is a really nice baseball field. And for little kids to a little bigger, there is a play area that is quite nice. The play area is way in the back so doesn't get overly crowded.

Nice park. There is a playground on the back of the park, a baseball and a soccer field. It is great to see any sky events such as meteor showers, eclipses, rocket launches from VA and anything else that requires a wide open space.

I have been there when I was 4 and I used to really love it so much that I could visit it every minute! Now I’m 8 and I took a visit to my moms old house just right at 12:00!

Trees provided lots of coverage from the sun. The kids loved the little parks along the trail.

Sadly we moved. I will miss the park and local nature trails.
