Gregg's Neighborhood Market

I recently relocated to Reserve , I had no idea that the locals meant , upon my asking, how far and what's the nearest grocery to my new house that " oh its not far , there's several stores in reserve , we like and use em. " turned out that EVERYTHING , I MEAN ANYTHING FROM GROCERIES to US post office , city hall , attorneys,gym gas stations etc, etc .....
Is literally , approx 60 steps across the street I live on the rear access is entirely too close to drive there!! Which is wonderful since I no longer drive. If I did tho I'd feel like fool doing so and the drive there may be the scenic route. Idk but on all occasions in the short time I've lived here I've always beat neighbors who did take that route by , what I believe is record times and feels like I should be a celebrity athlete and hold several record times and ither awards, equivalent to the more well known events such as a "Gramny, Emny etc . Would not be surprised if I have swept em all . I say this very humbly because I always make my groceries and my next door neighbors are just pulling into there favorite parking spots as I open my backdoor yo put my groceries up.
I always wanted to live out past Destrehan off rover road, If only I had k own that this move to reserve is the best choice in my entire life, in ways I had no idea of! So to answer the question, Gregg's is wonderful, all the business on my town have been nothing short of 5 star experiences for me. However even moreso , the people I've interacted with in my daily life here are incredibly the absolute poster child's of what living in " Mayberry " in the 50- 60 Era. Kind , helpful genuine people that go the distance, willingly to be rhe people they are . This is across the gambit,there's nothing that would indicate race, class or Any title, box or whatever you want to burden and waste your life on. Its doesn't ans has never raised its ugliness, EVER THIS PAST YEAR.
I CANT TELL YOU HOW AMAZIBG, THIS FEELING OF LOVE THY NEIGBORS, AND THE PERFECT WORLD I CALL HOME , MY HEAVEN, PEACE AND HSPPY PLACE FEELS LIKE , IT IS HERE , ITS IN RESERVE Louisiana!!!

This is life we live effortlessly, daily words can't define my life experiences here. All I k ow is This is God's Country, people, the way we ate supposed to live , gotta be because its that experiences that are my little existence here . Had I only known how closely I wasted so many decades I NOLA AREA. THATS NOT LIVING IN HARMONY. Greg's and all are 5 star business owners but More than that , they are all my. neighbors, my community , MY PEEPS!!!!!!!

New to the area it’s nice to have a neighborhood market that you can go and grab without driving further to big supermarkets

Not the best selection, but it's got all your basics plus things you didn't know you needed.

Basic small, single owner, local store. Prices are not the best, but not stupid high either.

Overall, it's good to have s grocery store like this in the neighborhood. Very convenient and friendly and a local institution.

Really nice with all the changes. The workers are friendly. I would recommend going there anytime.

Gregg's Market was my very first attraction when moving to Reserve! Organized, Clean, Great prices on meat! The Dollar Wall does it for me! Walking Distance too! Brenda Is the Best! She gets the lines down!!!

Always find what you're looking for in this wonderful neighborhood market. The best meat, always well packaged and displayed. Always very clean and a wonderful helpful staff. Saves lots of time, gas and money being able to shop right in the neighborhood area market.

Absolutely love Gregg's...friendly workers, clean and organized store with many sales and great prices! Thankful for our hometown store where on stop supplies all of my basic needs.

Every time I visit Louisiana I make sure to stop in at Gregg's Supermarket in Reserve they always have meats and treats that You can't find in any grocery stores in Las Vegas!

I loved Gregg's, the store was clean, items were easy to find and it was my first time there...this will definitely be my go to store from now on.

The Hospitality is great I visit this store at least 4 to 5 times a week love it it's a great place to shop.

Way easier than Walmart or Winn-Dixie for grabbing just a few items. I'm also glad to support local mom and pop stores.
