One of the hardest days of my life was having to see my best friend laid to rest recently. I feel like Powell's did a wonderful job in every aspect concerning my friends visitation and funeral though. The over-all feel was very relaxed, light, and welcoming, and wasn't dreary, dark, or depressing like many other funeral homes I've been to.

The staff seemed very friendly, caring, patient, and accommodating and it was a truly beautiful service for someone I love and care about very much. I highly recommend them, and I hope when it's my time to leave this Earth that a place such as Powell's can be the ones to help give me an equally touching service. Mr Powell is the absolute best. He treats each family as his own. When my mom died unexpectedly she had no insurance and Mr. Powell worked with us to give her a beautiful service she deserved. On her birthday Mr. Powell sent me a card which I really loved. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Everything was excellent from the moment I made the phone call to Powell I was impressed! They paid great attention to detail, allowed me to make a play list for the visitation and we’re very accommodating to all the last minute changes I made. During this difficult time they add things very easy and went above and beyond to make sure our family was happy with the services. Even the facilities were comfortable not the normal down feeling of a funeral home, it was bright and peaceful feeling.
