Lawrence Nature Park has some pretty awesome trails. Going down the first trailhead from the parking lot will lead you to several different paths you can take.

The ground is uneven! Easier for walking, but not so much running. Multiple areas where you will be going up and down hills covered in rock. There are multiple benches along the trails.

This nature park is usable year round. However, parts of it can get very wet, and muddy! The ice can be rather treacherous in the winter, and the summer has a massive amount of mosquitoes. The change in seasons is beautiful to see though.

There is some pretty fantastic fungus and moss to see from the downed limbs and trees. Way back on the longest trail there are the ruins of an old building that is neat to see as well.

The parking lot is quite small and can be very full at times. Lots of folks walk their dogs here.

The trails were great! There’s an additional trail added on that we haven’t seen yet, and can’t wait to check out! Love taking our dog along, and our kids love”exploring” all of the things. We even found snail shells, and checked them all out for a while before continuing our adventure.

Nice easy trails. Has options of smaller loops and is mostly easy to walk. Different junctions are all clearly marked with signs of the map. Is harder to walk right after or on a rainy day though, as the trails will be muddy. The tranquility and quiet/peace is nice here. Once saw a deer run by in here. Truly full of nature. There are many spider webs on the trail though, so beware! Use a stick to clear the path!

As soon as you enter and go in about 20 feet you get a feel of the seclusion. It's like you stepped into another world. All I heard were birds chirping away and trees creaking in the wind. Though some of the paths were quite muddy it was still a blast to hike through. If I lived nearby I would definitely make this a routine hike. Very easy for young hikers too.

One of my favorite places to go with my dog! Beware of ticks though!

Nice little area. I’m a local photographer and Lawrence Nature Park is a perfect spot for photo shoots. Not usually very busy which is nice!!

Great trails! Clear and clean; people are good about picking up after pets. We keep walking it in the worst conditions (icy and muddy) and still have enjoyed it immensely. Don't be afraid to cross the creek, it's not so bad. Lol!

Beautiful, easy trails. The ones on the map are well marked, and there are even some unmarked trails for the adventurous with great views.

The best place to unwind and be with nature! Be with nature! It smells good in spring! Go to Riverfront also! I petted a young deer once several years ago. It was unexpected. I even had a raccoon pose on a tree for me to take a pic! Saw a bald eagle at dog park near Clinton lake

Nice little side park, I believe there 3 or 4 different trails that are available once you walk a little ways in the woods. Everything is maintained well.

This has become one of our favorite trails. I bring my 3 young kids here and the red loop can be completed in 20 minutes! Plenty to explore and see.

It's a great trail for a family with younger kids, a little challenging but not more than they can handle. No one else was there early in the morning on a weekday, and we saw a deer!

We went there in late fall. Nothing much is going on in the park but the place is very quiet and relaxing. We are surprised to see a such a big park in the middle of (kinda) Lawrence. Nice place for family casual hiking.
