Thank you Michael for your prompt response to an inquiry I submitted about a possible lost package

I tend to mail myself clothes when I'm traveling for more than a week, it's less expensive, and less likely to get lost than a checked bag with an airline. The mail people at this USPS location are always happy to help! Post office boxes are readily available. When I first asked for one I was offered a number close to the floor and they were happy to go back and get a new one that was closer to eye level for me. Which, by the way, makes their job harder on a daily basis because I'm tall. I recommend post office boxes to everyone who understands the value of obfuscation between their private and public life, or between their bills and consumer packages.

This place has some really friendly people working there. They're almost always smiling and happy to see me. They have to deal with some very-rude inconsiderate people, too. I always enjoy going there for my postal needs.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU! Long story short, my husband and I filled out our forwarding information incorrectly. The package I had been expecting on October 10th was caught in a forwarding nightmare, bouncing back and forth between our homes. These dedicated people took the time to snag this package on it's latest journey to Jasper.... thank you for going above and beyond.

The Jasper, GA post office does a very good job. They have excellent customer service and the ladies at the desk are so nice. I feel lucky to have such nice people in the local post office. They recognize me when I come in and always offer assistance with heavy packages. Karen and Rhonda are both assets to our local post office. The negative issues that I have with the post office are things that are beyond the immediate control of the local postal employees and more related to fed gov't.

The regular people at the counter of Jasper PO and our regular carrier Mia are GREAT! But the subs are terrible! They continuously fail to do an acceptance scan on my packages when they pick up. I would take them in myself, but it's a 25 mile round trip!

Very busy. Only 2 desk attendees. 20 min wait.
