Madison County Animal Control

Not sure why they have a one star rating, my dog went missing recently and they were very quick on getting back to me if they had picked him up or not.
Though they didn’t pick up my pup, the sweet officer told me that she would microchip him once he was home. I finally got him home and had wonderful conversation with the officer while she loved on my pups. It’s very clear how much she loves her job, and loves and cares for the animals that come in.
We came out with microchipped dogs and all the attention and pettings my pups crave! I’m seriously thinking of making a career out of animal control myself because of the wonderful experience I had today.

Had a wonderful experience with them my dog was unfortunately attacked, they worked with me quickly to get the people responsible.

When I called the phone number to get assistance for a loose dog in my neighborhood it didn't give me an option to speak to someone unless I knew their extension number. Here's an idea...... how about actually answering the phone!

AC told me they would call me when a report is ready after being attacked and bitten by two dogs. After two weeks. I left two messages and two e-mails simply asking for the status. No reply.
They finally responded after three calls from the local chief of police 39 days later. It was at the Sheriffs office! A fifteen second call telling me this would be the professional and efficient way to respond.

They refuse to help with anything. Have stray dogs harassing people and they say it's not their problem. What's the point of animal control if they don't do anything?

I'm pretty sure this is some kind money laundering scheme, there is clearly no Madison County animal control, I'm serious try getting a hold of them and you'll see what I mean.
