Barksdale Hardware Inc

This is a REAL Hardware Store. Looks, smells, and is stocked like a real, local hardware store, complete with a small engine repair shop out back. This is a family owned store. I met the owner, one of his children, and one of the employees. ALL were very courteous and went above and beyond to insure I could walk out with what I was hunting down.

Cannot say enough about this place. SUCH a nice change from the orange (and the blue) big box store(s).

They are very knowledgeable and helpful. They were even open on their regular day off do to massive storms about to hit the area.

Great place & customer service. They treat you better than a lot of places.

They always have the hard to find Hardware. Great prices on lawn equipment parts. I've been doing business with them for over 30 years.

Great old world hardware store! Their staff is friendly and their inventory is great! Had my echo brand weed eater in that hasn't run in about 4 or 5 years to get it going and they took care of it quickly. Now I did have to have to leave it for a few days but it was done right! Thanks barksdale hardware!

Took my riding mower here to have the belt changed since I have a back injury right now . Not only did the fix it they checked it out and power washed it also . I highly recommend this place to anyone needing small engine repairs..

Good place. Helpful service. A small business with decent prices that are marginally competitive with big chain stores. If your close support this place as big chain stores will only save you a few pennies that would likely be burnt up in gas going elsewhere.

Highly recommend. I found some hard to find items there recently that were high quality and Made in USA. We even rented a riding lawn mower when our zero turn was in the shop. Not everybody has that & the service is amazing.

Very nice man who owns store was opened on Sunday when I needed supplies to keep my pipes from freezing. Lowes was sold out and he is very convenient to my house. Prices seem not much higher than Lowes. Has small engine repair which I use for lawnmower.
