Publix Pharmacy at The Shoppes of Dade City

One thing I can say about Publix, they are one of the cleanest Supermarket'saround. I haven't been to a dreary looking one yet. Clean clean clean and the employees whether its the pharmacy, bakery or hot foods area are very nice! They beat every other Supermarket but you will pay the cost and its definitely worth it. Also their vaccination process is very easy and quick.

Pharmacy employees have been consistently friendly and efficient!

They always have the freshest fruit and food hit meals ready to go. I also enjoy their rotisserie chicken and their bogo deals.

It appears the people working try to give the best of service, though I have seen they are extremely busy and trying to keep up... I believe they are doing a good job in the most difficult of times... We are all human beings and I thank the workers for trying so hard when dealing with the public (us)...

I always have issues here. They either never have it filled yet or can't give it to me because it's too early even though I got doctors approval to have it early and everytime they're RUDE. The one with the caked on clown makeup was being very firm and rude for no reason when I told her I didn't have my I.D and asked if there's another way to get my meds and she was just like NO I need a physical copy.mind you, I'm there for XANAX an anxiety medication and she's being rude and giving me anxiety but can't have my meds. Like thanks so much.

Most days Everyone at this pharmacy is very professional.. Today I had to deal with the most unprofessional Pharmacy tech. this woman comes off as harried, clipped with responses, and condescending. I asked to change my medications from another pharmacy to this store, she even had me look up the number, when asked when I could get existing scripts filled she told me one today and the other tomorrow, they were both filled the same day in June. Not once did she smile even when I told her I appreciate her, I got the distinct feeling i was bothering her. She may be an excellent worker otherwise but this is not someone who should deal with the public. I didn't get her name but she had on tons of makeup.

I have dealt with trying to get a text or phone call when my refill has done. Two years now. My last response I got from the pharmacy tech. Was, a lot of people have been saying that. It’s not like I have one script it’s like 10. Where’s the area mgr. Where is the home office management ???Ready to go to Walgreens

After calling confused regarding medication pharmacist told us they would assist us when we arrive. Once we got their they said that it wasn’t her job and it was our responsibility to figure it out. Mind you Publix is all about customer service. I later went back to complain to the pharmacist about the attitude received earlier and he honestly seem to not care. I would not recommend this pharmacy to the older community that needs additional assistance. I’ve been in the healthcare field for eight years and you should not treat people like that.

I waited 4 hours before going to pick up my prescriptions. I was told that they had to be ordered as they are cycle prescriptions. I complained that my drive is 20 miles. The Representative then stated they could fill it then but it would be 45 minutes more. I declined and called CVS and requested it be transferred to them. They called Publix with the request and 24 hours later it still has not been sent to CVS. One of them is an antibiotic for an infection. It is obviously that Publix pharmacy only cares about what is convenient and efficient for them and not the health of the customer!

Told to wait an hour when she could have taken customer care to a new level by literally dumping some amoxicillin and Motrin into two bottles and send me on my way. Instead she lost my business and I walked straight into CVS where they filled my prescription in minutes. Find some friendlier more accommodating help Publix, it’s not like there was a line or even a single person waiting

This is the slowest pharmacy with the rudest staff. I’ve called in a prescription and it hasn’t been available. Think they would call and let you know? No, that’s not their policy according to the staff. Also, I went to get a flu shot and I was the only person there. As I type this, I’ve been sitting here 30 minutes while the pharmacist talks on the phone and texts on her cell phone. I really hope Publix does something to better this pharmacy soon. It’s horrible the way they treat people. It’s certainly not Publix standard.

Publix normally is such a nice place with great people. I went to pick up my prescription on Saturday. I was in line for the drive-through window. There was a car in front of me. It was a little bit before seven but because I was in line I assume that I would still be served. They serve the car in front of me and then when I came to the window they closed everything down and totally disregarded me. It was 7:03 PM. I mean the employee looked right at me and shut down the window. I couldn’t believe that I was being treated that way. Very discouraging that I waited for the person in front of me to be served and then I was next, but was not served and totally disregarded. I will be picking up my last script from this location and will be taking my business elsewhere. You should be more aware and since I was in line already, I should have been served without issue as I was in line prior to the site closing for the evening.

I have had my last dealing with this pharmacy. Unlike real pharmacies, they have no urgency. They get around to things when they feel like it and can't seem to get some prescriptions filled at all. I do NOT recommend them.

I go there all the time just ( 1 ) nice person that works there. Rudest noise up a'holes for the staff. Totally off the chart. Time to call corporate....

The pharmacy staff including the pharmacist is rude.
