Medieval Torture Museum

Great experience for my birthday! I loved the audios we got to listen too as well as some of the interactive devices. I would for sure recommend this place to friends & i would even come back.

This place is very interesting. Its gruesome details will shock you. I don't want to spoil it, but you have to check this place out. I definitely recommend a visit here. We came on a weekday, and there was no wait time.

If you were even thinking about coming here, do it! Stop tossing around the idea and just come here. Really neat. Such a different kind of museum. Really enjoyed it. About an hour or two needed to see everything. Make sure to ask about the Tiny Art exhibit. Wow. The attendant was very knowledgeable, kind and super fun to chat with! Five stars for a fun night!

Thought I'd leave a review since it was amazing! It was very immersive and if you're a fan of history and these devices then please check it out! The information, staff, and models are fantastic. Nothing jumps out or is meant to scare you. The highlight of my trip.

Craig was an awesome host! Even kept me company and chatted, with good conversation, while I waited for my husband to finish the tour. The audio tour was well done, the pictures and plaques were beautiful. The mannequins were a little much for me, very realistic. Loved the layout, definitely recommend.

The experience was very informative and dark. Just the way I like it. The tour had a lot more displays than we thought they would and it was fun to see people’s reactions to torture methods we had already learned about.

Not recommended for under 18 years old but it is up to you if you feel your child can handle it BUT definitely not under 10. You got to walk up stairs to the gift shop and pay up there, there is a coupon in the coupon books. When you see all the things it is really surprising what was done.

My husband and I went one Saturday and it definitely did not disappoint! Very informative and almost too realistic 🤣🤣

Friendly guy at the counter, great atmosphere, many informative and creepy displays with historically accurate descriptions of various implements and when they were used. Not suitable for under 18 visitors but very good experience for history or horror buffs.

This was a must-see. I loved the audio that tells the story as we go along. Craig was extremely informative. If you're in Saint Augustine this is a must go too.

Just went through the museum. Very cool! And unlike other museums, you can touch stuff and interact which is a plus.

Definitely an adults museum bc there's a lot of gore,violence and death. But we had a blast exploring all the displays I Definitely recommend this place is you like creepy stuff or if you're intrigued by darker side of history. It's so cool!

This place was worth them money, super cool and clean, it’s definitely a must see if you are in st Augustine for the day, make sure to buy your tickets in person to avoid the processing fee online

This is one of the coolest places! Each exhibit is very thoroughly detailed and recreated. You walk out of there with an immense understanding of how nuts medieval times could be.

Had a great time visiting the torture museum but definitely not for anyone that would consider themselves squeamish. There are many displays of gruesome torture devices and there are audio guides that depict different stories and ways the devices were used. There are a decent amount of interactive pieces that you can touch and see up close which was really cool to see in a museum like this. The tour is self guided and the staff was pretty helpful to explain how it worked when we got there. There is also a gift shop that has skulls and goblets and other medieval related items. Would recommend going if in the area.
