Lovely cafe run by wonderful people who truly love cats! My family chose this cat cafe over others because of how spacious it is, so many friendly kitties to meet even if some are napping. The kitten room was a fun unexpected surprise we didn’t know about until we arrived! We also got some coffee while we were there, and it was delicious. Can’t recommend enough!

Frisky Cat Cafe in St Augustine FL is such a joy. It is full of some lovely and playful kitties patiently waiting for loving homes. It is a comfy and clean environment where lots of folks pay to spend an hour or more in the cat lounge and also coffee, tea, and treats are available too. Some folks come to just be immersed in the kitty vibe and others find their furever friend in a peaceful and fun environment. The $10 fee for the immersion experience supports the cats care there and also uplifts your spirit. In the four years they have been open they have placed 1400 cats in homes. Worth a visit even if you are not in the market for a new pet. I have visited twice so far.

The Frisky Cat Cafe is the perfect win win for both cats and humans. The cats are able to enjoy a home like place and get tons of socialization so they are just the most adoptable cats while they wait for their forever home. The cats are well taken care of, they look healthy and have the shiniest coats. The staff is friendly, kind, and answers any questions you may have. Very cute cats, great experience if you want to just hang out with some cats and enjoy some coffee.

It was our first adoption and I can not describe how happy we were with the whole process. Every each of those persons are graces of god. Linda and Carla are very kind hearted and sincere. Valentino and Valentine are the most awesome members of our family now. We can't be thankful enough. Frisky Cat Cafe deserves all the good things and every donation coming its way.

First time at a cat cafe! This was amazing! Ten dollars for one hour with cats, amazing. Rules were clear and easy to follow. Staff were very friendly. I wish I could have adopted a cat, but I’ll donate to visit any time.

My friends and I were in St. Augustine for our friend’s bachelorette and we decided to stop by. We had such an amazing experience. The staff is very professional and you can tell they love and care for the cats so so so well. I especially enjoyed going to the room with the cats who had to be kept separate due to FIV. One of the volunteers, David, was really knowledgeable and educated us about FIV since it’s often misunderstood. Really appreciated his energy and presence. The cats are very lucky to have him and everyone else who cares for them! I wish I lived closer I’d be a regular lol.

This place is lovely. The catnip latte was amazing. My partner and I had visited in June and had to come again when we were back in the area.
They were accommodating to my partner's use of a wheelchair by helping with the door and gate. The cats are very playful, and have space to get away from people if they get overwhelmed by them. Many of the cats are super friendly, though some are straw eaters.
There are lots of toys for the cats. The litter boxes are out of sight, and while it does smell of cats, you can't smell their litter boxes.

I would looove to adopt another cat or a kitten, but know that that’s the last thing my two geriatric cats would want in their house. So the next best thing is getting to cuddle and play with other cats while supporting a great local cause!

FCC is first & foremost a rescue and the only NONprofit cat cafe in the area.

The main lounge is usually calm and relaxing with the occasional burst of energy from the cats running on their exercise wheels or chasing toys. If you are interested in adopting it’s an excellent way to see the cats’ personalities in an environment where they’re comfortable. The majority are very sweet and social, but there’s a separate area for the cats who are shy or not in the mood for visitors. And sometimes those are the ones who surprise you! They’re just waiting for the right person.

My kids love visiting the cats and it’s been a fun family activity, especially on rainy days. Some tips if you’re bringing children: if you can try to set your expectations prior to your visit it will help keep everyone safe and happy. Remind them that the cats prefer calm and quiet - while they do love to play, running/jumping/shouting is NOT the way to engage with the cats. Also, if you have emerging readers looking to build confidence in their reading skills, a great way to do that is reading to cats! Bring a book and let them pick a buddy to read a story to - cats are wonderful listeners.

This was a wonderful experience. The service was great, can’t complain about the coffee and the company was a delight. $10 per visit plus whatever you order to eat and drink. My kids loved playing with all the cats, most being super friendly. Hilarious that the kittens will try to eat your food. I wasn’t interested in adopting at this time, but this would be the place to go. Perfect environment to get to know the furry friends. I don’t have a bad thing to say!

We were visiting St. Augustine and saw the sign. Stopped to see what the place offered and we are so glad we did. Wish I could post a short video of the cats using the treadmill wheel. Mesmerizing!😂

It was interesting to see all the different personalities, the sleepers, the playful, the goofy, the aloof, the social butterflies, the adventurous… all well socialized. We left feeling relaxed and happy to see what this organization does for cats. Good job!! 🥰

I visited the Cat Cafe today, while in town on vacation. This was actually my second visit. I love that places like this exist for what they do for the kitties. I had a wonderful time playing with all the adorable kitties...everyone was incredibly friendly. Although I was not in a position to adopt, I got some wonderful snuggles and scritches and kitty kisses. Thank you and keep up the good work for the animals.

Cannot recommend enough! Absolutely wonderful, relaxing, and fun place with and incredible loving and caring atmosphere. There is a $10 per-person charge to spend time with the cats and separately-enclosed kitten areas.

All of the cats in the open cafe space are well-socialized, sweet, and loving. The kitten areas (which are two separate rooms which only allow four people at a time) are visible from the main seating area. They even have a curtained-off area for cats that are older or prefer to be away from the light-to-moderate people traffic that is within the cafe at any given time.

There is plenty of space to sit or lounge while you mingle with the adorable kitties - all of which are available for adoption, by the way! If you are looking to bring younger children with you, they are more than welcome. Supervised small children that are familiar with cats and understand gentle petting will love this. The only age restrictions were to pick up the cats. Children aged 7 and up are allowed to pick up the cats in the main area. Most of the kittens have just been spayed and neutered, so picking them up is not allowed - but don't worry - those kittens love to climb all over you!

The beverages and pastry-treats are perfect and refreshing for the environment - they even have beer and wine for those old enough! It's certainly not.a place you go just for the drinks and food, but the drink menu is fun and variety-filled and the treats are small and perfect for this type of environment.

You can tell how much the owners, workers, and volunteers love these cats, and their passion for their mission is clear in their service and their knowledge of all the cats, their names, and their personality. Everyone working here wants you to have a good time, give these cats some love, and for the cats to be cared for. The application process, while some may find it strict, is necessary and aligns with the mission of this cat-cafe and rescue. They are very gentle and thoughtful with their application process, which means it may take some time. Don't expect to come in and walk out with a cat that same day. This cafe takes the adoption to a forever home very seriously, and I really respect that.

If you're looking for something different and fun to do in St. Augustine that is also for a good cause, and a lot of kitty snuggles, I highly recommend Frisky Cat Cafe! Thank you Scott and crew for giving us a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful time at the cat cafe. We’ve heard about these places but never seen one. While on vacation to see friends we came across this place. I’m so happy places like this exist. All the cats were happy and well cared for. As soon as we sat down on the couch with our coffee, several cats came to visit us. The kitten room was a hoot. As soon as we sat down on a chair, a couple of them shimmied up our leg and onto our shoulder. The young man who took our coffee order explained everything about the cat café and the rules, he was very helpful. There was a lot of people there that day, and all these cats were getting lots of love, attention and socialization. I hope many more cat cafes sprout up across the country.🐾🐈‍⬛🐈

Came here with my best friend and our kids after searching for something to do in St. Augustine and WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! The staff there was phenomenal, kind, and very patient! The entire cafe was lovely: clean, modern, and you can tell the cats are loved and socialized and they are passionate about them being adopted to the right family. So many goodies to choose from as well, and they are non profit, so every cent goes back into taking care of these sweet cats. Def make this a stop on your trip!!!!

This is such a fun, adorable place to visit especially if you love cats! I was amazed at how loving these cats are - so inquisitive and playful! Everywhere you look, there's a cat! I've been to other cat cafes but none compare. This one is BIG and there is plenty of seating if you don't want to sit on the floor with the kitties! There is a separate room to visit the kittens. I can't wait to go back!

This place is incredible. The coffee was great, but that was nothing compared to the cat lounge. It's very obvious how much the owner and staff care about cats, and they know a lot about caring for them. The cats themselves were so sweet and very well socialized. Can't wait to see our two new family members to be again!

My kids and I have visited the cafe a total of 3x. Loved it every time. The cats are obviously well-cared for, and the volunteers know so much about each one. When we were finally ready to adopt, it was so hard to choose so we were grateful for the guidance! The cats are well socialized and all lovable in their own ways. Thank you!

All I have to say is WOW!!! What a beautiful, amazingly wonderful spot. The rooms are so cheery and clean, the coffee and macarons are delicious, and ofcourse the cats take the cake! My family thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we will definitely be back. Everybody needs to come visit this nonprofit pronto! :)
