Burger Buckets

We really loved this place. It was our first visit, we were starving after one day at the beach. We had to wait outside for a short time before being seated. This place has a very cozy atmosphere, and the food was delicious. We ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers and 1 mushrooms swiss cheese burger. They had our order ready in no time which we gladly appreciated. Not only they're home-styled but they're also good-sized and flavorful. We had french fries with the hamburgers are they were actually pretty good. The price was reasonable. Last but not least, the service was great, not exceptional, but great. Everyone was smiling most of the time, even though they had a sign posted outside asking for our comprehension because they were short-staffed.

Great food and environment. My wife and I loved Burger Buckets. The prices are reasonable for St. George Street dining. It's a family owned business; the owners and staff were friendly and are happy to talk with you if you like. Burgers are great here. If you don't mind a few carbs, I would highly recommend the pretzel appetizer. It was delicious. There is free parking on site for restaurant guests. We didn't have the kids but it is definitely a kid friendly environment. Highly recommend stopping by if you are looking for a great place to eat.

We spontaneously walked into this lovely restaurant today, had the best burgers of our lives. Not only that, but they came for an absolutely reasonable and affordable price and with friendly service.
As we checked out the owner told us that this place is shutting down, because it couldn't get through COVID. Only after we walked out we realized how sad that really is. We were shocked! We wished that more people could taste these burgers, which looked so good and were made with fresh ingredients. We wished every burger restaurant was like this.
Thanks for having us. We hope that one day there will be a Burger Bucket again and wish you all the best!

Stopped in again for lunch had burger, coleslaw, onion rings and milkshake. The service was excellent. The burger was delicious and the milkshake was really good.

I got the bite of fire burger with fries. It was really good. This place serves lots of different foods. I saw a pretzel served as an appetizers that was eaten by four people. I was also intrigued with the tower of onion rings I saw ordered at another table. They serve everything here. Ice cream , shakes, hot dogs so many different foods. I posted the menu so u can see the many offerings they have. The prices were fair in my opinion. I will go back

Navigating through St Augustine can be intimidating to say the least. Especially in a 2500 pickup truck trying to find a parking spot while winding through a maze of one way streets. Well if you are on an adventure like we were looking for a great family friendly place to get an excellent burger, look no further than Burger Buckets! We started with a tower of onion rings and a giant pretzel! Both were cooked to crispy flavorful perfection. My wife loves pretzels and she said it was one of the best she's ever had. The burger menu is sure to have something for everyone. I went with the Hawaiian Burger with the Bacon Blend Patty, it was juicy, smoky, packed with flavor, topped with a slice of pineapple and all the normal toppings. I also upgraded to the sweet potato fries which were also delicious. Of course no gluttonous meal is complete without ice cream, well don't get up, they have an ice cream shop in the restaurant! We ordered banana splits to share, and let me tell you, they were creamy and delicious, not to mention huge! We enjoyed our visit and I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone. I was also pleasantly surprised to hear them playing Christian music, and to mention the owners faith as part of their mission. I love supporting local businesses like this!

Had a great dinner here with my two best friends and our 5 kids. Everything was delicious. We had fresh food and it was quick to come out. The meat was delicious. Perfect seasoning. Fries were great! The meat/bun ratio was fantastic too 🙌👏 Our waitress was so efficient, sweet and nice. I saw her act of kindness and I just wanna say it's so wonderful to see people care about people! ❤ Every employee that I saw tonight was friendly and full of smiles. We will definitely be back! ☺

Service here was friendly and speedy quick and the food was hot, fresh, juicy, and delicious! Burger was extremely flavorful, the spicy sauce was incredible! Fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside. Interior was clean as as comfortable. There's a spot inside to find info about the local tours, and ice cream, lots of ice cream. Prices, especially for a tourist area seemed quite reasonable. I didn't have the mac and cheese, my daughter did, but it looked so creamy and cheesy (like good homemade).. my daughter said it was wonderful. If you're visiting the area, I'd recommend a stop here.

Excellent is the best way to describe this place!! Food quality was great along with the presentation and price ... you can't beat the Burger Bucket !! We had the great opportunity of having dinner here. So we decided to try breakfast the next day. No question about it worth the stop before the trip home. As for staff- Mira was perfect! A definite place to return to when we come back to ST Augustine 👍

Family owned restaurant. Accommodated 15 seniors out for a day in St. Augustine. Service and food were exceptional. Turned out all meals in less than 30 minutes and drinks were never more than half empty. I will be bringing not only my family but another group of senior citizens to enjoy this well ran establishment. Highly recommend!

We loved it. Burgers were awesome. Our waiter Alex was great. He kept us with drinks and checking on us. He was also really funny. Great experience. Loved the fact there is no free wifi. There is a sign....NO FREE WIFI!!! Pretend it's 1995 and talk to each other.

We got there right when they opened at 11. Friendly staff. My husband and I split the slider meal. Perfect size for a light lunch. The mozz sticks were nice and hot. The bacon was left off the bacon cheeseburgers but once we let the server know, she brought us bacon right away. She even brought us each a small cup of ice scream. #yougottaeat

The service was top notch from the moment we stepped in the door. The host had a great personality that entertained the kids. Our server Joe was fast and courteous. My husband had a nice conversation with the owner about food challenges. The food was so good it dint need any sauce. The place is definitely a must try!

Despite the traffic, the customer service was on point. Our server was sweet, attentive, and thoughtful when trying to accommodate us as a family. The fries were delicious and the burgers made to perfection. The salad was fresh and the dressing homemade. The sweet tea was made for my southern palate. Can’t wait to visit again!

Moderately prices with good (actual) food. No pressed down frozen junk here. They appear to use real ingredients bought from someone that doesn't make and freeze everything. The food took a while despite having very few people and my food was on the cool side of warm so I asked them to microwave it but instead they made me a new plate. The pancakes are huge and soak up a lot of syrup. The eggs were outstanding and plentiful. Even the grits were made and baked with cheese in their own bowl. Plenty of condiments so no having to ask for more butter three times. Service was friendly. I recommend for breakfast before the long lazy trip down St George Street. I will be back later to try out their lunches.

Delicious!!! I had the mac and cheese burger and garlic parmesan wings and they are the best I have ever had! Driving by the smell was so good I couldn't help but try it. Ashley was our waitress and was very helpful and patient. I would absolutely eat here again

Okay so shout out to our waitress Mira! She was on point very friendly and very informative on the menu! We got the pretzel which was huge and awesome! But the shakes was to die for they were so good! Thick but easy to drink and was like heaven in a glass! Can't wait to go back here! Oh, sorry my photo has a bite out of the burger it looked so amazing I took a bite before the picture lol! But it was yummy!

Came across this place when visiting St Augustine from the UK. It was a completely random find but we are so glad we found it.

We were shown to our table fairly quickly and were greeted by our fantastic server Ashley. Ashley asked how we were and initially took our drinks. She was then patient with us and allowed us a few mins to decide what we wanted to order.
My wife ordered 10 chicken wings and I ordered a bucket of chicken tenders. Ashley asked us if we wanted any additional sauce with these and brought them on a handy tray with some wet wipes (which are well needed with the wings!).

The food arrived really quickly.

The wings were fantastic and had so much meat on them. They had plenty of sauce on them and the sauce wasn't over powering. This was accompanied by celery which was nice.

The chicken tenders were spot on - Nice and tender with a fantastic coating! This came with coleslaw and fries which were the best fries that we've had this holiday (or vacation as you guys say).

Ashley came back several times to ensure we were okay and to see if we needed anything.

The bill came to a reasonable amount and we gave Ashley a well deserved tip.

We've been to St Augustine several times over the past few years and we will definitely be returning on our next trip.

For any visitors cautious about Covid, this place is very clean and the servers regularly clean the tables.

My boyfriend and I decided to eat lunch here yesterday after a long day of walking around St.Augustine and spending some time at the beach. He had seen the sign for it earlier in the weekend and kept saying we had to go there before we left town, so we made it our last food stop of our trip. When we went inside, the staff was so nice and inviting. Our waiter was super kind and funny, and got our food to us pretty quickly! My boyfriend has the doughnut cheeseburger, which he LOVED and basically inhaled.😅 I just had a hamburger with pickles and onions (because I’m very plain🤣) and it was probably the best burger I’ve ever had from a restaurant! Perfectly cooked and just the right amount of toppings! We definitely weren’t disappointed! This has made it onto our “MUST go” list for every St.Augustine visit!!!

This place was a little small so I was skeptical but the staff was very polite. The food didn't take that long to get even though the place was packed. I got the Mac n cheeseburger which is a bacon cheese burger with Mac and cheese on it and it was soooo good! It was about 11$ but it was so worth it. Portion was big. My boyfriend got honey BBQ chicken strips. Would come back for sure!!!

Peter was a great conversationalist, friendly and had good info and suggestions regarding the town which was really helpful to us tourist. The philly cheese steak I had was off the chain good and my husband had some really juicy boneless chicken wings and a bacon blended burger that had bacon bits in it. Yummy!
