This was our second activity on our weekend getaway and we absolutely enjoyed every minute. Our tour guide was hilarious and the chocolate was delicious!! The tour was informative yet exciting and kept our attention. Definitely a great activity to do with family, friends or significant other. We brought some chocolate in the gift shop after our tour- i highly recommend the salted caramel fudge! Yum! Thanks Whetstone for a fun experience!

My family and I went in today for a tour and it was a highlight of our day. Joe was our guide and he was awesome. Joe was entertaining, funny, and very knowledgeable about every aspect of the business. The selection of products is great and the prices are reasonable. It was fun overall, but Joe made the experience that much better.

Whetstone Chocolates Store and Tasting Tour exceeded my expectations in every way. The tour seamlessly blended the rich history of cocoa and chocolate, providing a fascinating backdrop to the delectable samples offered. The chocolates themselves were a symphony of flavors, a testament to the craft and quality of Whetstone's creations. The informative narration added depth to the experience, making it not just a tasting but a delightful journey into the world of chocolate. Highly recommended for both chocolate enthusiasts and history buffs alike!

Went here on our girls weekend away. We did the tour and loved every second of it. Melanie was absolutely amazing, she could teach me about anything and keep my attention. The chocolate and fudge were absolutely decadent, and we all purchased plenty to share with our families.

Great tour and exceptional chocolate. Tour was excellent and not gonna say how much spent in the shop but the best chocolate I’ve ever had!!

Great tour and experience! Tour guide was knowledgeable and kind. Had two kids (1 and 4 years old) and they still were able to sample all chocolates. Appreciated the sampling of chocolate throughout the time instead of just beginning or end.

If you want to know about the history of Whetstone Chocolate and also wanna try some chocolate made in their factory, definitely this is the place to visit. It was our first visit there and didn’t know how this tour and tasting works.

Thankfully when we got there it was around 3pm and the next tour time was at 3:30 pm, so we made it. The ticket price was around 11 $ for adults per head. They do the tours like 3 or 4 times a day so it’s better to know the time before getting there , so that the wait time isn’t going to be long. The tour includes telling us about the history of chocolate, also a tour of how the factory machines work and some varieties of their chocolate to try.

Everything was good, the only thing I wished would have been done is if the chocolates we are given to taste was provided in a small plate or at-least some napkins around, cause we were handed the chocolates in our hand which didn’t feel great.

our tour was fun and informative. The chocolate 🍫 was delicious, they taught us quite a lot we didn't know. There is so much more to making chocolate... so much has to be done before it's even nibs.. the white eewwewy gooey bits are cool.. I wish I could remember her name she was just a lovely guide.

Melanie was a phenomenal tour guide. Extremely informative, down to earth, humorous and all around fantastic. The chocolate speaks for itself, of course! 10/10 recommend!!

The tour was great! Our guide was excellent. We got samples all the way through. The best part was actually going through the factory itself to see how they make the chocolates. You also get a discount in the attached shop if you take the tour - we bought several treats that were really good. You do have to wear hair and beard nets on the tour.

I'd recommend you make reservations in advance, the tours for the day we went were sold out when we got there. If we hadn't made a reservation, we wouldn't have gotten to go.

The tasting tour is a must for our family anytime we visit St. Augustine! The kids love it. It’s a little less than an hour long which is perfect for their attention span. The samples you receive (and the $2 off $10 coupon for the gift shop) more than make up for the ticket price. The guides are very knowledgeable and keep things entertaining and fun while sharing a lot of great information.

We had such fun!! It was a great price to see how they make the chocolates. Some tours tell you about it or show a video. They walk you through and explain where and how cocoa is processed at their factory. This is a family owned business which makes it that much more amazing!! Highly recommended!

We went on the guided tasting tour of the Chocolate Factory that was led by a very interactive and knowledgeable gentleman. We were taught all about chocolate from A to Z and why Whetstone is the legendary maker of so many arrangements of flavors and ingredients. Try the raspberry shell and don't forget about the gift shop!

We had an incredible experience at the chocolate factory, all thanks to our amazing tour guide, Melanie. She had a fantastic personality that kept us laughing throughout the entire experience. Melanie’s knowledge about chocolate was impressive and she shared it in such a fun and engaging way. We left with a wealth of chocolate facts and plenty of treats to share. Thank you, Melanie, for making our visit so memorable!

We went on a Monday afternoon and it wasn’t too crowded. We went when it was raining so be prepared to cross into the other building outside during the downpour. Our tour guide was super friendly and funny and was definitely very knowledgeable. However it was a big bummer that there were no workers or machines really being used. I was expecting to see a bigger production when we really just saw the machines that are used. I would still recommend it because the chocolates were amazing and my family had a good time, it just wasn’t what we expected.

We went here to take our grandson for his birthday cause he is a chocoholic. It was very entertaining as well as educational They have parking at this location for the tours which is good because we tried to get into the distillery and of course their parking lot was full and we were unable to get in That's the story of Saint Augustine no place to park And if you do get a chance to part you have to pay the price.

This was a great experience! Our 9 & 10 year old sons enjoyed the experience! Our tour guide was wonderful! She reminded us of Roz from Monsters Inc.

This place is amazing and not only is the tour fun with lots of good information about the history and process of creating chocolate; but you also get to sample several yummy options!

Be sure to get your tickets early in the day as they do sell out of the tours.

Also, remember to use your coupon at the end of the tour.
