We went to the beach to watch the sunrise and then wanted to stop for coffee and breakfast before heading home. Driving down King rd., I was able to see the neon Open sign on their window. I turned around and went back and parked in front of their shop. We went inside and the staff were extremely friendly, they brought our food out and asked where we wanted to sit. We went outside and they brought our food to us. They came back and checked to see if we needed anything. I got an Eggel Bagel and it was delicious. My wife got gluten free waffles and she said it was delicious as well. I highly recommend stopping there if you're in the St. Augustine area, we were extremely pleased with the menu and the service.

Having immersed myself in the beauty of St. Augustine at sunrise, the craving for a comforting coffee and bagel led me to Sweetwater Coffee Bar and Gallery, discovered in my nearby search.

Situated in downtown with convenient street parking, the early morning hour ensured a hassle-free parking experience. The coffee shop itself was a visual treat, adorned with captivating paintings from local artists, creating a cool and serene atmosphere.

Perusing the menu, I decided on a Mocha Latte paired with a Bagel featuring onion cream cheese. The service was prompt, and soon my order arrived.

The Mocha Latte proved to be a delightful experience, exuding the essence of freshly roasted coffee with a rich and delicious taste. Complemented by a scrumptious bagel, the combination crafted a perfect morning breakfast.

Heartfelt thanks to Sweetwater Coffee Bar and Gallery for delivering a cup of coffee and an exquisite morning indulgence with a delightful bagel.

Absolutely loved this gem! The lavender honey latte was delicious but it was really the food that stood out. We had the Great White Bagel, an egg & cheese bagel, and a waffle special with fruit and cream cheese. Everything was so, so good and the portions were big. The staff was also really nice and helpful.

Recommend. Kitschy little coffee and bagel shop. Both bagels and lattes were delicious. Had the bagel sandwich with egg, cheese and bacon. Companion had the Lox bagel. Both were large with fresh ingredients. I think the there were 2 eggs in my sandwich. The place is small, but there are several tables inside as well as a couple tables outside. I also had a large latte that was very good as well. Everything was average priced. The decorations consisted of original artwork from someone who liked Furbys (lol)

Sweetwater Coffee Bar & Gallery is an absolute gem! As a regular customer, I can confidently say that every visit is a delightful experience! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a fantastic meal.

The staff here are not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about their offerings. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a satisfying lunch, or a specialty coffee that's out of this world, they've got you covered. Their recommendations never disappoint, and you can tell they genuinely care about ensuring you have the best dining experience possible.

The owner, Mike, is a true standout. He goes above and beyond to ensure every guest leaves with a smile. His attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect of Sweetwater Coffee Bar & Gallery. It's clear he takes immense pride in his establishment, and it truly shows.

One of the many things I love about Sweetwater is their all-day breakfast. The variety and quality of their breakfast items are outstanding. And when it comes to lunch, they knock it out of the park with a menu that offers something for everyone!

The art gallery is a vibrant addition to the cafe, filled with an array of unique and captivating pieces that provide a feast for the eyes. It's a wonderful complement to the already fantastic dining experience.

Having tried numerous specialty coffees,( mostly Latte's, Lavender, Toasted Coconut Honey, Cinnamon Bun, White Chocolate Raspberry and Chai) several breakfast items (I love the Eggel & Elvis & Baby Elvis!), and salads (The Beet, Nova & Chicken Salad is amazing!), I can confidently say that everything on the menu is exceptional. Each dish is prepared with care and attention, resulting in flavors that are simply out of this world. And let's not forget about the Brownies....OMG!!

If you're looking for a locally-owned coffee shop that offers not only great food but also a warm and welcoming ambiance, look no further than Sweetwater Coffee Bar & Gallery. It's a true treasure in our community, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Whether you're a regular like me or a first-time visitor, you're in for a treat!

Great little place in heart of downtown. The “Great White” bagel we had was delicious on a cheddar bagel. Toasted Coconut Honey latte was also a treat. Cool artwork all around and lots of coffee specials to come back and try!

Edit: came back two days later with my sister and tried the bagel sandwich and Nova Salad. Both delicious!

Possibly the coolest spot in downtown Saint Augustine. Amazing food and beverage choices. I highly recommend the lox bagel, enough to feed two! I also ordered an iced toasted coconut oat latte- heavenly! The owners and employees are super friendly and helpful. Perhaps my favorite part of the business is the art gallery tucked away behind the coffee bar, where you can sip a drink and stroll through & view all the gorgeous paintings. If you are ever downtown in Saint Augustine this place is a must!!

Incredible location, food, and service. Everyone was very nice, and were sincerely excited about the Nova Bagel and Butterbeer cold coffee they prepared and came back to check on me. It’s a smaller location, so if it’s busy there are Adirondacks outside the back entrance by the art gallery, where kids could run around and play in the shade before noon. I would recommend and plan to be back.

When I say this place made a memorable visit, I mean it. This is my first time in the area and I saw other bagels shops nearby, but I saw this one had the best reviews and I can see why! I was not disappointed. The service was great, everyone was friendly, and I felt very well taken care of. I ordered a couple of things and they even helped me to my car. I wish I had taken pictures of the actual place, but it had a great artsy vibe and an art gallery with local art. The food was delicious! When I'm craving bagels, this is exactly what I mean, freshly made, great ingredients with great flavors. I would highly recommend it, if and when I come back, I will definitely make this my go-to spot.

11/10 recommend !! The bagels are so good. The coffee is amazing! I got the Samoan Latte with dark chocolate, caramel, and coconut and Eggel Bagel. And I spilled some coffee on my white dress, the gentlemen (owner?) behind the bar were so kind and brought me hot water on a napkin to get the stain out. They went above and beyond. Wishing so much abundance and success to this coffee bar. PS make sure to check out the art gallery in the back by Hannah and Sloane Keats!

We went out to breakfast on a Sunday to the Sweetwater Coffee Bar and Gallery. For drinks, we ordered peach tea and a marshmallow latte. For breakfast we decided on the Bikini Bottom Special with eggos waffles, fresh strawberries, blueberries, bananas, whipped cream, and honey-vanilla cream cheese. We also ordered the Eggel Bagel with bacon on an everything bagel. The drinks, food, and service were all amazing! The Bikini Bottom special was the pièce de résistance! It was decadent and fresh at the same time. We also enjoyed the gallery; we met the artist, Sloan Keats, who was excited to share her amazing art and the stories behind it with us. The whole experience was wonderful.

We're locals and repeat customers of this wonderful little cafe. The atmosphere is so cozy and the food is absolutely delicious. Affordable and so so good. I got the dory bagel and it was very tasty, I love the blueberry cinnamon bagel it comes with and how it pairs with the fruit and honey vanilla cream cheese. The staff is welcoming and very generous. Would recommend to anyone looking for tasty, filing breakfast.

I have been coming here for years but the last 4 years while my son attended Flagler. The staff does a excellent job of providing and excellent menu of options. You think it just a bagel but the portions are huge and you are never wanting more.

We are loyal customers to sweet water. The food and coffee is EXCELLENT! On top of amazing customer service. The owners are the sweetest people and always make sure their customers are satisfied. They’ve memorized our order because we go so frequently and they always give more than what we asked or paid for. Truly such a wonderful experience every time we go. One of the best run businesses in St Augustine!

I had an amazing iced oatmilk latte! Located just off of the main drag, you can park on a nearby street and walk into this eclectic, artsy Cafe. It's just steps away from many touristy attractions. They have tons of coffee options and also a great sandwich and bagel menu. I had the Great White, a bagel with tomato, mozzarella, and balsamic. It was incredible, I appreciate that they included balsamic on the bagel underneath the cheese. The service was excellent, staff is friendly and helpful. A great stop!

It isn't often that I wish I could leave 6 stars, but this is one of those rare instances. This isn't a gourmet restaurant but the absolute best in lattes, salads/sandwiches, and customer service. As a bonus, there is excellent artwork on the walls in the dining area and a spacious gallery in the back.

The art gallery is actually how my daughter and I discovered this hidden gem while perusing the First Friday art galleries on King Street. We had to try the lattes (actually I had an Americano so I could sample the locally roasted espresso beans) and the flavor was incredible. My daughter's lavender latte was the best she's had with so much fluffy foam she was very happy. They bragged about their homemade cream cheese and NY (style?) bagels but stopped service for food at 3 on First Fridays.

Well, we had to go back and have more coffee and figured the food would be a bonus from there. We ordered the bagel with homemade vanilla cream cheese topped with fresh strawberries and bananas, the beet salad, Nova bagel, and more lattes. The prices were reasonable for the items, but when the food came out we could not believe how large the portions were! During a time where other restaurants are shrinking portions, somehow they come through with a real value for your dollar. Amazing. There was enough lox on my bagel alone to match the cost of a package in the supermarket!

But generous portions aside, the food was excellent. The homemade cream cheeses really shine through, so creamy and tasty like nothing I've had before from bagel shops. The bagels were outstanding and I need to buy some for home. Leave us here with our lattes and we were very, very, happy.

But wait, there's more! The owner delivered two gratis bagels, one everything with scallion cream cheese and the other a blueberry with the vanilla cream cheese. No reason, just because. What a generous gesture! But he knew what he was doing, lol. So delicious, and we were stuffed at this point.

But wait, there's more! Again! He asked if we liked chocolate, and who doesn't? Then he comes back with this super chocolatey rich brownie I had been eyeing in the case, accompanied by a large scoop of chocolate ice cream. Wow. A perfect ending to a great casual lunch, and of course we needed more lattes to wash it down properly.

Pluses--great atmosphere, service, food, lattes, and an art gallery.

Minuses--not a huge dining area but the turn around is pretty quick. Getting a table could be an issue if they are crowded and you have a large party. Parking is always a concern on King Street downtown, and you will want to come back frequently.

Bottom line we will be back and next time we'll take home some bagels and the amazing cream cheeses to tide us over in between visits.
