The Gourmet Hut

The atmosphere was cozy and charming! We enjoyed the beautifully lit garden with fire pit and live piano music away from the crowds. We were delighted they found a seat for us! My husband loved the filet with mushroom gravy and my Chilean sea bass was delicious. The French onion soup was yummy... rich and beefy.

I cannot say enough about how fantastic of a time we had this evening. Everything from the service to the atmosphere to the food was FANTASTIC. The charcuterie board was just as delicious as it looked. Can not wait to go back. Perfect place for a relaxing date night. Definitely an underrated hidden gem of St. Augustine.

Live musician playing while you enjoy fresh ground coffee. Hungry? Anything on the menu is amazing! This place has a rustic look, meals are eaten outside in their garden. At night there is white Christmas lights hanging from the gazebo to the several trees and plants. The Spanish guitar playing softly in the background provides total relaxation to your dinning experience. Visit once and the memory will never be forgotten.

The food was so delicious! I had the chicken penne (shown in picture) which is now one of my favorite dishes I’ve had at a restaurant. My boyfriend had the grouper which he also really liked. Romantic atmosphere, beautiful live instrumental music, and just a great ambience all around. The staff were friendly and we were quickly served.

Ariel was such an amazing server, so nice and so attentive he even impressed my mom, who is one picky picky lady. The Shrimp Po' Boy I had was so simple İ was amazed at how delicious it was -- perfectly blackened shrimp. Also the best french onion soup I've had in a long time, has made me want to eat it more often. The outdoor seating with heat lamps and fire pit are a great touch. Definitely recommend for a lovely date night. I'm just sad I didn't order the Mac n' cheese now.

This restaurant is a MUST if you are visiting Historic St Augustine !! The food was PHENOMENAL !!! The atmosphere was romantic , with live piano and candlelight. The staff was attentive and very very friendly . This is now our most favorite restaurant…

We had an awesome experience here. Wandered in for some coffee and stayed a few hours for some delicious food and fantastic hospitality, starting with a muffin straight out of the oven. He even brought a cooked treat out for our pup along with our food. The coffee was great and the food was even better. Thoughtful details in ingredients that really hit the spot. The garden/patio seating is beautiful too! Thank you! Will be back when we’re in the area.

This was an awesome little spot mostly covered in tree and vine plant canopies. It was a great place to get out of the sun and sit back and enjoy a beer, some coffee and some food. The Cafe has some amazing cheescake. The server was really friendly and went above and beyond for us. Food was amazing and was priced fair for its location.

Most adorable place to eat and a most when you visit Saint Augustine. The chefs are amazing and will surprise with every delicious dish. Highly recommended!

What an absolute fabulous time we had yesterday. We literally spent 6 1/2 hours enjoying the atmosphere and the company from Shane and Shelly, who are absolutely two of the most fabulous people we have ever met. The owner Greg is so welcoming and his recipe is to die for when you order the steak or the lamb! Their bruschetta is like an explosion of taste when you bite into it! This has become our Saint Augustine place!

We had a great evening. It was the perfect place for my mom birthday. It's a hidden gem. Outdoor seating, amazing food, great atmosphere. Live classic music. I loved it.

Delightful evening spent at The Gourmet Hut in a private garden setting. The piano music added to the experience. Family owned which is a bonus!!

This place is just plain cool. Love the inviting garden like setting. Music drew us in just as much as our thirst. If Joseph is working no doubt you will be looked after properly. He watches over his tables like a shepherd.

Delicious! Joe was our server tonight. When he told us it was only drinks and apps until 5, he didn’t shy us away. He told us about the menu, and I mentioned I love white sangria. He told me about their red sangria and good it is. I decided to give it a go, and was surprised! It was actually super good! No regrets there. We ordered a bunch of food to try as well and an entry after 5PM. Everything we ordered came out perfectly on time, and was out of this world delicious! Joe deserves a raise for his kindness and knowledge. I wish all servers were like him! Also if you’re in between about trying new places, definitely give this place a try. So good!

What a charming spot! Vined garden with fire pits, live keyboardist on a Monday. Courtyard seating. Loved the Moroccan lamb dish, and the affordable (but quality) wine by the bottle. Seemed like a family establishment; if you aren't uptight, I bet you'll love it as much as we did.

Nice little spot to just sit and relax with their happy hour sangria's that were only $3 each. Service was awesome! Would definitely recommend stopping by!!

So, this may sum it up... my husband broke his 6 month vegetarian run for half of my steak and had zero regrets. We had a cigar and wine next door and for an hour the smells wafting over was literally insane. I had to eat here... so we I ordered the filet w mushroom demi glaze garlic mashers and brussel sprouts and he ordered the pasta vegetarian dish. And then out came the most amazing perfectly charred outside. pink inside chunk of heaven. The ambiance was so enchanting with fires everywhere and lights dripping in green romantic vines. Literally an enchanting, unforgettable evening.

Are you in town with that special someone looking for a romantic dinning experience that has a good vibes kinda setting,complimenting some very interesting gourmet dishes along with a live piano playing in the background under a moon lit sky kinda place? If so then this is the spot for you. I have to say that for me personally the lamb,steaks, and lobster ravioli were the highlights of the menu that I’ve tried so far. Each one was beyond fabulous! As a Global Google guide I have to rate this little treasure a 10/10. I highly recommend it.

The absolute best food and overall dining experience in St Augustine. And you won’t find better food (in generous portions) for a better price! We split a bottle of wine, two apps, and the filet. 10/10 recommend.
