Relámpago Coffee Lab

I was looking for a real coffee shop while in St Augustine and I found one here. I had a very smooth latte and the price was the most reasonable I've seen yet in this town. If you're looking for a laid-back coffee shop experience take a walk one block off St George Street and come here.

In my opinion most coffee places in St Augustine are mediocre. This place has some delicious light roast pour over. I’d say if you actually care about the flavour of the coffee, this is the place to go to. The locally baked pastry, such as the croissants were good too!

I wish I would have got the blond girl’s name who was holding it down, but she was a champ serving a line of people, while being very friendly and keeping a positive vibe.

Great coffee spot! We had the cappuccino and lavender honey latte. Both were delicious! Very friendly staff.

I stopped in last week to get a bag of coffee and I love it! I chose the Reliable Blend and it is so good! The shop has a great vibe and the person working was very friendly and helpful. If I’m back in St Augustine in the future I will definitely be back and may order beans from here online.

Great coffee spot in the Colonial Quarter. I got a cappuccino and my sister got the mocha and we shared a guava pastry. The cappuccino was the right ratio of espresso and milk. Awesome to find a spot that knows how to make a good coffee. The mocha is rich and not too sweet. The guava pastry was flaky deliciousness. They have a beautiful large back patio. Wonderful place to enjoy your treats and chat.

The barista was delightfully informed, helpful and kind. They have unique flavors of coffee (lavender honey!!) but I got the tea and it was delicious. Others in my party got coffee and we were so happy we came twice, during a long weekend. I could totally hang out on their porches for awhile too. Will be back to try their breakfast sandwiches (it's hard to find quick, easy, affordable on the go breakfast options in downtown St. Auggy)

Discovered this place while staying in Historic St. Augustine. Great location right in the middle of town. The barista was very courteous and knowledgeable. Ordered a single-origin iced coffee and it was very tasty. They also had an impressive pour-over system. We took our drinks to go so we could walk around town but there was a nice outdoor patio behind the storefront.

Best coffee shop in town. I'm not much of a cold brew guy, but their cold brew making process is a true art and was delicious.

Wonderful coffee, convenient location, and really nice atmosphere! Absolutely loved this spot. Knowledgeable and super friendly staff. Outside porch dining in the front or back. Will be back!

VERY good coffee. High quality and nice atmosphere. Very few tables inside but lots of great outdoor space on the front and back porches.

Searched out a coffee shop that has uses and has high quality beans for purchase. THIS is the place. Great friendly service. Nice atmosphere; outdoor seating great. 2nd time there was rainy but had a bench under over hang and she put out bench pads. The pour over is wonderful. Bought some Ethiopian beans and did my own at the RV. Excellent. Highly recommend. Chia tea and hot chocolate were also good. We did not try the food.

Very clean, no weird smells, perfect vibe with plants & lighting. Cappuccino was excellent.

Cute independent espresso bar. Limited food, and staff can get overwhelmed with customers, super location in central downtown. Outdoor deck seating is outstanding.

Stopped here twice while on vacation. Delicious coffee and very friendly staff. A great spot with a nice outdoor seating.

Their pour overs are excellent! Depending on the coffee bean you pick, you can taste the flavor profiles quite well if you drink it black. In addition to the coffee, I also like Relampago because in the back of the house, there is a patio area where you can sit back and relax (especially if the weather is nice)!

I discovered this gem through other google reviews while staying at an Airbnb near downtown. The inside of the coffee shop is very nice and welcoming. We ordered a peppermint mocha, cold brew, spinach and feta turnover, along with the spinach strata. Everything was amazing, I highly recommend. We will be back!

As a confirmed coffee “snob,” I typically judge a coffee shop by whether they do “real” brew like pour overs and high end drip. Relampago was one of the few places in StA that offers a pour over. This one was well done, bean choice was great, was VERY inexpensive for a pour over, food was yummy and both indoor and outdoor spaces were lovely. Would like to see housemade syrups in the future!!

I have been here before for crafted coffee, but today I had a delicious iced tea! Earl grey with cream, honey, & lavender. It tasted amazing!
