So happy we stopped here.
Was able to get Lieutenant Dan and our Private Teddy Roosevelt carrying bags for our mountain trip. Plus Lieutenant Dan enjoyed being carried around town!

This handsome boy is perfect in all ways but walking. He pulled and pulled and pulled with his 90lbs of muscle. Problem solved with this corrective harness the staff recommended. Worth its weight in gold! He also warned me of a respiratory virus, told me to not let my dog use the public dog bowls and handed me a cold bottle of water for my dog.

The Adventure Pets crew have become a second family to myself and my dog since we moved to St. Augustine a few years back. They stock new toys and treats upon request and actively solicit feedback on what sort of products we want to see in the store. If there’s something we can’t find, they will check with their distributors to see what’s available. Their product selection is one of the best in town with many items made in the USA, sustainably sourced, and of quality materials. They have all of the adventure gear you could need… we especially love the rain jackets, cooling bandanas, collapsible water bowls, licki mats, enrichment toys, and treat pouches.

Michelle and Leo are incredibly kind and welcoming people, and we always enjoys our trips to the Adventure Pets store. My dog never leaves the store without getting to sample some treats
and he won’t let me walk by the store without a trip inside!

Stopped in with our 2 dogs. Excellent customer service- would recommend to anyone solely based on that! You can tell the owners love dogs and love what they do! The products were all great and such a good selection. Got to meet the shop dog Sasha and she was perfect! Will definitely return!!

This place is amazing! They have so many options for your pet! I love and appreciate that they have raw food options like small batch brand, and goat milk options as well! My little one is loving is pure fish treat! Definitely check this place out! The customer service is top tier as well!

We visited this adorable little shop back in August with our dachshund and had the best time! They have a wonderful selection of food, treats, clothes, toys, and unique pet gifts! The owner was present and so very nice to chat with. We can’t wait to come back next time we are in town!!!

Great place. They have a great selection of USEFUL and SUPPORTIVE items for your Best Friend! The staff was pretty nice. The items they have make you want to go hike or travel. My kids had a great time trying to get my dog to try new things. Including these super cool glasses 😎!

The service was great, I got exactly what I needed and the man working at the counter walked me through on how to use the product. He was helpful and polite, and he even gave me a free frozen dog dessert and water before I left. My dog loved the dessert and I loved the service, I recommend this place for anyone.

Very helpful here! I’ve stopped in a few times to get my pup fitted for summer booties and now a pack. They gave us an ice cream as we left and then came running after with my forgotten credit card. Shows how much they care about customers. I will be back every time I sail through.

LOVE this store, highly recommend. They are so awesome and knowledgeable. They have given me guidance on many things, including taking time to look at my dogs allergies and giving me advice on what options I have for her. I feel like they have a lot of variety in the store as well, it isn't just all the "usual" things you see at pet stores.

I love this store. You can feel the dog love when you come in here. If you bring you pet with you where ever you go, then you must come here. Get them a pack, some travel gear and don't forget the treats. There is so much gear you can get to ensure your pup is ready to go.

We were traveling for vacation in St. Augustine. A few weeks before I had contacted Adventure Pets to order food. Leo was quick to respond. I was able to order/purchase in advance. It was a relief knowing I had fresh food waiting for me on the next leg of our adventurous vacation. We ran in to a delay of 2 hours on the highway. I contacted Leo, he offered to make special accommodations to pick up food as Adventure Pets is closed on Tuesdays. Great new find in St. Augustine! This will be our go to place when in the area again.

This is a hidden gem in downtown St. Augustine. We are new to the area and were in need of our regular raw diet for our dogs. We special order our food and pick it up when it comes in. They even bring it out to your car if you don’t need to go in the store. Michelle and Leo are great to deal with and are very helpful with any questions you may have. We highly recommend them for all your pets needs.

The customer service is fantastic! Gracie’s mom was so kind and patient with us. She helped our shiba find the perfect k9 sport sack for him. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely be returning here from Orlando.

We were on a road trip & needed a new harness for our Boston Terrier. We picked out & bought a nice one. After leaving the store & walking around we realized it didn't fit well. Went back, they were eager to help us find the perfect one. Friendly, helpful, great selection

We were visiting from out of town this week and brought my pup for his first little getaway. He’s so calm and easy going at home didn’t think he’d have any problem acclimating to our hotel but unfortunately he got a bit distraught and wouldn’t stop barking when we left the room so we stopped into adventure pet to see if they’d recommend anything to help him get comfortable and the gentleman there was so helpful. Awesome experience so happy we stopped in ended up saving our trip.

We all left with the biggest smiles on our faces (including our pup). We have an anxious dog but wanted to see if she’d like a dog pack. We were helped in finding her the right fit and getting her in in a way that was not stressful. She even got free ice cream with the purchase. Their stock is unique and fun.
