Had a great dinner here, the food was delicious, my shrimp and grits were different with a broth instead of the creamy style I’m used to, but the braised short rib was very good. The cocktails were the actual star though, would come here just for a drink. Atmosphere was great, cozy lighting and decor, pleasant crowd. Most importantly the service was excellent, friendly and professional. Will definitely go back.

We had an AMAZING lunch here!

The food was fresh and HOT and everything was cooked perfectly. We had a party of 5 and everyone got different dishes and loved every bite.

The Miracle pop up was super cute and fun and always a nice surprise! I love the Old Fashioneds because they aren't too sweet and they are always consistently good.

Atmosphere here is CUTE!! Even without the holiday decorations I could tell the space is great. I felt super cozy and comfy here and our server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Beautiful experience. We were there as tourists for the Fourth of July weekend and this place captured the essence of the town while being a casual and welcoming spot.
All the servers and bartenders were so friendly, we felt very comfortable. They also advised us on the spots we'd have a good view of the fireworks and to come back later for more drinks. The decor of the place was also so well and in line with the historical and antique character of the town.
The drinks selection was very unique and creative, it was hard that we could not have all of them. Personally, I became a fan of how smoky they made their "I can't even" cocktails.

Came here for lunch on a Friday. This place is incredibly yummy and high quality. My word. Had the warm bread, meatballs, Cajun egg rolls and the brown butter cake. I give all a 10/10. Had the berry first time cocktail. My brother had the hole in a cup cocktail. Both were incredible. The berry one is more sweet and fruity. The hole in a cup is more fresh and clean. Loved both. Think we may come back for dinner….

Service was well paced. Our server was attentive and engaging. We loved the Fried Green Tomatoes. I had the Shrimp and Grits with Etouffe which was great but the Mahi Special of the evening surpassed it.

We stopped at Forgotten Tonic for appetizers. Phoebe was a great server and took her time highlighting the menu and specials of the day. We selected the Cajun egg rolls and squash and prosciutto flatbread - one of the aforementioned specials. Delicious choices. The dining area and bar were still decorated in festive holiday decor, which was a unique aspect for this time of year.

Great food. You MUST have reservations or wait for bar seating to open. Service is good but be prepared for a relaxed atmosphere. Cocktails are perfection and sauteed mussels are amazing!

10/10 recommend. Quality food and drinks, service top notch. The egg rolls were phenomenal, shrimp & grits, as were the craft cocktails made with love.

My fiancée and I visited for a romantic dinner on vacation. Abby was our server and she had wonderful recommendations for cocktails and food options. All the staff was friendly and accommodating. I would come back weekly if I was a local. Great value for the quality of the cocktails, food, and service. I only have 4 out of 5 stars for ambience because our booth seats were way too low for the height of our table. Everything else was beautiful and we left very happy.

When I visited this bar it was decorated for Christmas(only for a short time). It was very cute and perfect while you enjoy the Nights of Lights. Order a festive drink you won’t be disappointed in any you choose!

Also order a mistletoe shot if you like tequila 😉

Food was excellent we cleared all of the appetizers that we ordered (Baked Brie,Pesto Flatbread, and the Cajun Egg rolls). It was fresh and arrived quickly. The flavors of everything was perfect!

The staff was upbeat, friendly and even busy took time to chat with us and take our photo.

Definitely a fun spot while your in St.Augustine, I'd check it out after the holidays too because the food/service was outstanding!

I was googling best cocktails and this came on top three! I don’t know how the food is because I didn’t order any but I did get drinks and they were DELICIOUS! Awesome cocktails

It's hard to be impartial dealing with numerous #restaurants, but in #staugustine, this is my favorite hidden spot. The food is delicious, the drinks spot on with a large selection of spirits, and it is priced reasonably. #staug art district.

I was here on business but after this meal, I wished I lived here…

Wow, what a hidden gem…this place renewed my confidence that there are still great places that serve “Amazing Food.”
Every stage of the meal was perfection, the “daddy chill” cocktail was in a different hemisphere, along with the blackened trout, cooked to perfection. To top the evening, the pineapple bread pudding was flawless…!!! This was a hidden gem amongst other restaurants that just serve “okay” food. Alexis & Cody could not have been more accommodating..!!

We ordered the Christmas Cricket and Yippee Kai Yay drinks, the Cajun Egg Rolls, the BLFGT and the Shrimp & Grits Etoufee. It was all delicious and the atmosphere was cozy and fun, especially decked out for Christmas.

The drinks were smaller than expected for the price they were, so we only got the one each. However, they were great and very smooth, so I suspect they were high quality ingredients, hence the price tag. The glassware they came in was also very entertaining, they leaned into Christmas for their cocktails for great results.

The BLFGT (sp?) went past my expectations. The bacon was very crispy, the green tomatoes perfectly fried, the ciabatta bread was beautiful and the fries were hot, salty and the right amount of crisp/crunch. I'm picky about my fries, so I was very glad they turned out so perfect. It was a great entree.

The shrimp and grits Etoufee was amazing. Flavorable, warm comfort food with only a slight kick from the andouille sausage, creamy grits, and perfectly cooked shrimp. Well done for such a yummy dish!

Overall a great place to eat, I get the hype. We went there as a treat for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. I can see stopping in for a fancy cocktail or dinner again. I'm also glad we made a reservation.

Sat at the bar while we were in town for a concert. Service, drinks, and food were all FANTASTIC! Wife had mojitos, I had old fashioned, we sampled their house drink and all were delicious. The brie appetizer was one of the best things we’ve ever eaten. I have already recommended this spot to coworkers who visit St. Augustine from time to time. We will absolutely be back again. Thank you guys very much!

Hands down, the best cheese grits I've ever had. We've been here a few times and now I just always get the cheese grits as a side, regardless of whatever else I order. They're almost like a dessert, they're so rich, buttery, smooth, fluffy and sweet. They need you to do nothing except put them in your mouth and enjoy. Definitely decadent.

Highly recommend this place if you are looking for upscale, not overly priced food. We ordered the meatball appetizer which was heavenly! I had the teriyaki tempah which I had never even heard of. Omg! It is seasoned like an Asian meat dish. Crispy on the outside with a teriyaki miso glaze and thick cut veggies. My husband got the chicken Bella. The chicken was cooked perfectly, not dry. Service was amazing.

My husband found this gem a few blocks from our hotel. The menu and specialty cocktails looked great online so we thought we would give it a try. The drinks were phenomenal and unique. The food was delicious. And the staff was top notch. The bartenders were so informative and helped us find our way around the area and were able to help us pick out the perfect drinks. The hostess Micha even helped me when one of my straps broke on my dress --- and she went right into help mode as soon as I told her my situation l. I could seriously write paragraph upon paragraph about how much we loved this spot. I highly recommend the egg rolls and fried Green Tomatoes. Drink wise -- the Breakfast in Bed cocktail was delicious and so so unique. Forgotten tonic will definitely be a place we visit next time we come into St Augustine.

Forgotten Tonic is a must visit restaurant. You are met with an amazing atmosphere the minute you walk in the door with the great hosting staff welcoming you, the ambiance and aesthetics of the restaurant itself, to the serving staff who are very people oriented, friendly, and very knowledgeable in their positions. The great ability to make reservations online was a high perk for us, and no wait time to be seated. The menu choices are excellent, and each meal is cooked to perfection. The flavors and portions are to be commended. The menu is set up perfectly with all the restaurant has to offer, including their signature craft cocktails that I highly recommend. Our server Ciara went above and beyond. Her very bubbly personality and her genuine nature for caring for her restaurant guests was a big must for us. She was very attentive but not intrusive. She ensured we had everything we needed at all times and made us feel very welcomed. We will definitely be returning with family and friends and look forward to establishing this restaurant as a regular spot for us.
