Crucial Coffee Café

What a cute place! Had books and a nice garden with good seating. I got a frozen peppermint mocha and it was delicious! The only reason for 4 Stat on food is another person in my party had gotten a white mocha latte and he said the coffee taste wasn't really there. Also, there was a muffin in the case I had asked about and they said it was reserved...? But otherwise it was great!!!

This cute coffee hut saved me from a torrential downpour whilst out discovering St Augustine. The chai latte was perfect, made authentically with tea, honey & oat milk ( not a gross bottle mix) I ordered another. Fab little place with a cool vibe.

Only have gotten black coffee here but this place holds a special spot in my heart. Be prepared to wait a little on the busier nights.

A very quaint and quirky little place. A 400-year-old farrier stable converted into a coffee shop and restaurant.
The old barn that once stood there is now an open courtyard with seating, and a mulch base.
The coffee shop has the original farriers oven and fireplace, but the building itself had to be rebuilt in the 60's.
The restaurant however is the original farrier stable or the horses would get new shoes.
The owner Stephanie was quite delightful and pleasant with her entertaining stories of the old property.
The coffee was magnificently made, full body cappuccino and perfectly steamed milk. I had a cream brulee cheesecake (because they were out of key lime pie) but it was also very good.
I recommend going by and saying hello and enjoying some coffee. From the jointing tables it appeared that other patrons were enjoying their meals. Here are a few photographs. The outdoor seating is pet friendly, they provide a bowl of water as well.

Cool little spot with lots of warm coffee and hot chocolate options

Best coffee ever. Jason did an excellent job making the perfect drink for me. I simply requested something with chocolate and coffee and cold. He nailed it on the head. It was so perfect that I finished it before my wife received hers. Usually, it would last a little while, but not today. He was so sweet, when I asked for a refill, he offered me the leftover from the blender for free. The decor is so inviting, that when you leave, you want to take a souvenir of the shop with you. They offer a wide range of drinks, from coffee to shakes to smoothies to shaved ice, they even offer pastries and special sweet treats. We brought our whole family and they all got something. My brother's drink did not taste how he wanted and Jason went the extra mile to make sure he liked it before leaving. Must stop if you are within a 30 minute drive.

Built out of an old blacksmith shop, it's the coolest place to get coffee in St Augustine. Everything is good. Not to mention the outdoor atmosphere. It's like your in the middle of a forest is amazing. If you're gonna visit be ready to walk, find parking then enjoy an amazing cup of coffee.

Connected to Crucial is a similar sized shack that has small but amazing plates of breakfast/lunch/brunch food. The outdoor seating is beautiful in the early morning before it gets too hot. If you’re in a rush for food, you may want to go somewhere else since it’s farm to table here it’s a little longer wait...but well worth it. Be sure and hittup this gem.

Very cozy atmosphere and kind employees! The coffee was yummy and they have a pretty wide variety. I tried the Pumpkin Spice! Great place to grab a cold brew before traversing the nearby fort.

A short stroll from the fort. A quaint coffee shop in a historic repurposed blacksmith shop. Lots of history. Walls of books and good coffee.

Cute little place, with great specialty coffee. I had the toasted coconut latte and my mom got the Snickers latte. It was so good and great atmosphere. There was a little garden area to sit in with stringed lights everywhere. It was a great place to go relax.

The Irish Hazelnuts Expreso was excellent

My family and I enjoy the place , the inside and out side atmosphere, the services was like panera or Starbucks. We order 2 Irish Hazelnuts Expreso, Mango smoothie, tiramisu, cheesecake and was awesome is the kids said the smoothies was good you now everything's is okey. And is you want souvenirs you can buy teapots and coffee cups

We always love to stop here when we are in Saint Augustine. They have a wide variety of milk substitutes. Lots of different flavored coffees served in this original old structure.

Aaron made a delicious frozen mocha coffee, they even had almond milk. He also knew about the history of the unique building. If you want coffee this is your place!

The staff was quick and friendly. The seating in the courtyard was pretty too.

I get an iced chocolate oat milk latte once a week from Tommy at Crucial Coffee. He’s a great barista—super efficient, and friendly. The shiny espresso machine and fresh remodel in the kitchen looks awesome. Service is always fast. Love it here, thanks!

I love this place really nice place to come and drink you favorite coffee or you favorite drink is very nice and the place is beautiful 100% good please don’t ever miss this place is the best coffee in town. Ok

We love this coffee shop. The location is perfect- just when you’re at the end of St George and need a treat. The history of the bldg is a fun factor. And the garden seating is adorable.
