Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Airport

Spent 5 days/4 nights at this location for a family vacation and my husband’s birthday. I mentioned to the front desk staff that it was his birthday and at first they said they didn’t have anything special that they do for birthdays, so I just requested a wake up call for him. To my (and his) surprise, they greeted him on his birthday with a card signed by the staff and several snacks and drinks. Couldn’t have been more pleased! As for the hotel itself, the location is great but the rooms are a bit dated, more USB A and C ports would be great to charge electronics. All in all it was a good stay!

Very nice hotel. Spacious room/suite. Has full fridge, microwave, plates, cups, etc. Superb check in staff! We will definitely stay again. Pool is outdoors with a hot tub. It was raining so we didn't get to use those

The room is more like an apartment and really big. We are not used to this size from Germany. The location is very close to the airport (about 5 minutes by car).

The room was very clean and well equipped. The kitchen had crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. It also has a large fridge, a dishwasher and a microwave. There was also a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

The breakfast was good and we had enough to eat. The pool is also very practical.
The WLAN worked perfectly.

We stayed here for an overnight before a flight and loved it. The staff members we interacted with were super helpful, accommodating and friendly. They were able to let us check in a bit early and late due to our awkward flight times. I've never stayed somewhere where they have been so flexible. The rooms were clean. The location was great (lots of restaurants in walking distance). There is a Cuban food truck just 7-8 minutes (walking) away that was amazing. The breakfast (included) was great. Free shuttle to the airport. The internet was a bit wonky but I didn't care - the place was great overall.

This hotel was pretty easy to get to using GPS. The room was clean and very comfortable. We had all we needed. Breakfast was good with good options.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Residence Inn near the Orlando airport before catching an early flight the next morning. The young woman at the front desk, Jamie Meadlo, was so nice that I felt compelled to write this review. First of all, she made arrangements to store our luggage until our room was ready; she had great suggestions on where we could find some restaurants and shopping areas within walking distance of the hotel; and she also was able to upgrade our hotel room. The thing that impressed us the most, however, was just how kind and friendly she was. Thanks for being so nice, Jamie!

Great location and room was wonderful. Will pick up and drop off at the airport but there were multiple communication issues with the driver which affected a few patrons.

The hotel staff at this hotel is amazing! We were stranded at the airport at 1:00 am after flight cancellations, and while there were no rooms available that night, they said we could come to their lobby and stay vs the airport. They were so accommodating and found 11 of us rooms first thing in the morning. They are amazing!

We stayed here while in Orlando for a brief 4-night stay and it was perfect for us.
The front desk was quite helpful with our accommodations and arrangements. Keyvon was knowledgeable, friendly, and had excellent customer service.

First, the property is what you think a Marriott should be. The thing that stands out for me is the staff. On December 21st, the young man checking us in was great, kind, and really cared about the guest. In the morning, the man running around making sure breakfast was perfect for everyone was great. A breakfast that is usually a mess at hotels, this guy was attentive as a 5 star steak house. I never would think I would find that at a contental breakfast. If I had my business in Orlando, I would be giving him my card to work for me doing customer service. I have just got to say wow!!

The highlight for me, after several weeks of stay, was the kitchen staff! The ladies in the kitchen are top notch people who work above and beyond to set out a good breakfast. I've seen the ladies reach out to assist families, elderly, or sometimes latecomers to make sure people get what they need.

Incredibly diligent and caring people work here.

My girlfriends and I stayed here as we prepared for our girl’s trip on Carnival. From booking to checkout the customer service of the Residence Inn was PHENOMENAL. Michelle helped us get to our shuttle location and Jamie was super sweet and helpful in tagging our luggage while we grabbed food before our departure. I would definitely stay here again for the customer service alone! Thanks to all of the staff!

Had a wonderful experience! Our flight came in 6 hours late causing us to miss our connecting flight. We booked Residence Inn to get some sleep before our new flight. It was around 11:30 pm, but they answered promptly and had a shuttle picking us up within a few minutes of getting to the shuttle pick up area.

The front desk person was super nice helping us sign up for the 6:35 morning airport shuttle and giving us complimentary waters (we’re Bonvoy members) to go along with toothpaste and toothbrushes (which were in our luggage that was making its way to our final destination). We also asked him about breakfast which started at 6:30. He said they had bag breakfast we could grab. When we came down in the morning, he was still there, still smiling and had the breakfast bags waiting for us.

I've stayed at this hotel several times.
It's conveniently located minutes from the airport. There are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel has been well used and the rooms are ready for some updates. That didn't affect our stay though.
They keep the place very clean.

I slept so well on the bed, I wish I had their mattress at home. I felt it was firm but cushioned enough not to hurt pressure points (perfect for me). I needed extra towels and bedding since there were 4 of us which staff promptly brought. All the linens were in excellent condition. I love the big plush towels that dry well.

The a/c worked great! I run hot and it cooled well.

The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, measuring cups/spoons, cooking utensils, manual can opener, strainer, large glass bowls for mixing, glasses, stemless wine glasses, mugs, plates, bowls, toaster and single cup coffee maker. The full size fridge has an ice maker. They also provide oven mitts, cutting board, paper towels, soap, sponge and dishwasher tablets.

The staff, every single person, wow, they are super friendly and super accommodating. So many smiling faces.

The TV has plenty to watch as they have on demand and premium channels. The wifi was a thorn in my side. I couldn't get the sign in screen to come up on my phone, but I can't complain because I didn't bother asking for help as it worked fine on my other phone. My brother was in the room next door, he had no issues with his laptop. It also seemed to work fine on my son's laptop and Nintendo switch so maybe it was just a "me" problem.

We were very pleased with breakfast. So many options to choose from and the staff keeps it clean and stocked, even though it gets super busy. Did I mention the wonderful staff?

My kids and my nephews enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, they even played some basketball for a bit.

Overall, it was an excellent vacation from Jacksonville, FL. My brother and his family flew from San Antonio and we enjoyed our annual family time.

The only complaint I have is the sofa bed, my daughter got on it and said it was horrible. Like I said, they are due for upgrades which Marriot typically does after so long.

Great place close to the airport. You can keep your car there for two weeks which is included in the price of the room. Great deal. Shuttle leaves every 30 minutes. Highly recommend. Near all kinds of food as well.

Our experience here was amazing. The guest service guy at the front desk at night was so polite and well mannered. Even though it was really late at night, he was smiling and was so calm and helpful. He definitely made us feel like we made the right choice when choosing the hotel for over night stay.

I just finished 36 nights at this property and I took a full 24 hours before writing this to digest the entire stay. I felt like I was at home the entire time. The staff was fantastic and super friendly. Always smiling and making sure you’re doing ok. The kitchens with the full fridge are really helpful! The hot tub is a good place to relax and wind down after a long day. Whether you’re there for work or for an overnight stay, I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for one night prior to our cruise leaving from Port Canaveral the next day. Check in was a breeze - room was clean and comfortable. Only staying there for a night, we didn't take advantage of the full kitchen but it appeared to be well stocked. Despite being near the airport we did not hear any loud sounds. The free breakfast was decent enough - what you would expect from being a free offering.

We had a rental car - was a short 2-3 min drive away from many restaurants such as Cracker Barrel.

For a pre-cruise stay, or perhaps a stay prior to an early morning flight, would have no hesitation to stay here again.

Comfortable beds, fantastic pillows, clean rooms, full oven in the kitchen.

Older Property, But in very good condition.
It's quiet, the rooms are large and the staff is great.

The normal breakfast items at this kind of hotel... Not fantastic but the staff is great and hey it's free!!!

Nice 24-hour workout room, outdoor pool in Jacuzzi.

Restaurants nearby, several that are walking distance.

All in all if you want a nice quiet place to stay, with a lot of amenities nearby and close to the airport this place is a winner.
