Avilés Restaurant & Lounge

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The wait staff is friendly and efficient, the menu has choices for meat and fish lovers. The catch of the day can be prepared so many ways, it's hard to decide. I also enjoyed the good selection of wines by the glass since I didn't want the same wine with my appetizer and entree. From starter to dessert, the food was superb!

We stayed here 2 nights and did dinner both nights and room service for breakfast. The service was amazing, and the server remembered our preferences from the day before. The quality and flavor of the food we were served was top notch and we will definitely go back next time we’re in St. Augustine

Chef Coby knocked it out of the park with this stunning and absolutely delicious tasting Tomahawk steak. Thanks for coming out to the table and checking up on us. It was such a treat.
Additionally we want to thank Sharaz the waitress, who was super friendly and helpful. She also was our server for breakfast and pasta night. Thank you!!!

Aviles is a restaurant located inside of Hilton's Bayfront location. Chef Coty prepared the best crab cake I've ever had, and the herbed butter that comes with the warm crusty bread is such a treat. The bartender, Ed, did a fantastic job of crafting me his signature drink - The Hendericks Refresher - it was the perfect accompaniment to my crab cake. The restaurant area doesn't have much ambiance which may thwart potential visitors, but the food is quite good. My only suggestions would be to improve/expand the wine list so that it matches the quality of the food, and to improve the ambiance of the dining area. Thank you to the Aviles team for a wonderful dining experience.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in St. Augustine!!! It is located inside the Hilton hotel on US 1 by the Castillo de San Marcos. Water view on the first floor. The food is exquisite!! We had the bruschetta with beef tips. For dinner I had the 8oz filet and my boyfriend had the 16oz dry aged del Monaco complemented with a bottle of juggernaut Cabernet. Our Complements to the chef! Outstanding flavors and elegant presentation. Our waitress Sheraz was very knowledgeable about both food and wine. Everything is amazing from the food to the drinks to the service! A MUST have dinner stop when visiting St. Augustine!!

Located inside Hilton Hotel, if your a gourmet foodie: this is the place to visit... had the lamb chops & scrumptious they were & presentation was superb with edible potato fried ribbons decorating the gold fingerling mashed potatoes & grilled asparagus spears, & dessert vanilla Creme Brulee with fresh fruit & side of biscotti & coffee, ample portions to fill a hungry tourist or local patron. Waitress Leigh was sweet & attentative & Mgr Peter was diligent with providing a relaxing atmosphere to dine. Thank you for a memorable experience, I will be back next time I'm in St. Augustine

Fantastic custom drinks. Fantastic food. Service is outstanding. While it may be a hotel restaurant you would have no idea. The food is outstanding. Recommend sitting at the bar (TVs) and ordering everything.

Quite little place with very good Prime Beef.
Enjoyed a very tender and perfectly cooked piece of Beef Filet, and it was delightful. The sides were also well prepared and the presentation was on par with fine dining. This is a yes !

We had a great Easter Brunch Buffet. The buffet included whole Maine Lobster, Crab Legs, shrimp, salmon, Cornish hen, Leg of Lamb, and Ham. The deserts were endless and plentiful.

Aviles Restaurant is truly one of my favorite restaurants- food & service is fantastic! The Avacodo Toast was truly delicious! Restaurant is beautifully decorated w/ Spanish tiles & ironwork- it reminds me of authentic Spanish design. Aviles brings great memories of my time in Spain!!

I ordered the catch "aviles" which was sea bass along with soft shell crab, white asparagus, and hollandaise. I was overly satisfied with my meal. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The price was reasonable for everything included.

I debated writing this review because this place is a hidden gem….I didn’t want to spread the word and have to wait for a table when we come back. LOL This place is AMAZING!! It’s in the Hilton lobby and on the pricier side but you really, truly get what you pay for here. Lee was our waitress and super!! The staff are all classy and well put together. Our table got a bit of something of everything. I had the braised short ribs, with creamy mashed potatoes and asparagus. I don’t love asparagus but the stalks were hefty and perfectly cooked. My beef melting in my mouth. They also have nightly prime rib!! One of us had surf and turf, someone had steak and another had the Maine Lobstah….we were all swooning over our meals!! Fresh and delicious!! Outstanding and well deserving of my 5 stars!!

This is our new holiday tradition for thanksgiving and Christmas. Not only is the food amazing but the service was a professional enjoyable experience. Big thank you to Justina
