Orville was a fantastic guide. 👏 👏
He made the whole tour enjoyable and fun.
He explained things very well and is super personable.

I highly recommend him as a guide if you can pick one.

He deserves a raise and all the bonuses!

This was my favorite thing on the 3 tour package deal we got (trolly tour, jail tour and oldest store museum)... matter of fact, probably enjoyed this most out of everything in st. Augustine.

It's very filled with amazing things to look at, and our guide sure did play the part ! Loved it

What a wonderful experience and the antique displays in the store are top tier. Really felt like you stepped back in time. I believe our guide name was Nickolas? He did a wonderful job explaining everything to us and keeping it fun and interactive. My family loved it. I would definitely recommend this if you are in the St Augustine area or nearby. Definitely worth the time and money. Will return and bring the rest of the family!

This place is full of history! The inside looks like time stood still for the past 100 years or so. Our tour guide, Ruby, was wonderful. She was very friendly and informative. She did a great job explaining what life was life back then and how the store tied into all of it. We loved hearing her stories and seeing all the interesting antiques they had on display. Definitely worth a visit.

This place was very cool. It was even better than I anticipated, to be honest. It was an interactive experience. The lady who did it, Molly, was fantastic! She really got into character and had us all laughing. They even gave us free candy when we got there (candy? Heck yes!). Highly recommend!

Possibly my favorite stop on our trip to St Augustine. Uncle Vince was our shopkeeper/tour guide and he was amazing! Had tons of information about the different products, tools and gadgets in the store and about st Augustine in general. He did a great job getting everyone involved and made it very fun for everyone

If you love antiques, old general stores, goofy gadgets, or the idea of time travel you'll love this museum. Ruby was our tour guide and after giving an on-theme warning that all prices are in 1908 money she proceeded to attempt to sell us all manner of great goodies. (not really for sale, part of the show.) A few interactive components like corn shelling and a fun old video viewer. Young kids may find it a bit boring but our teenager and four adults all enjoyed it. It was truly like taking a step back in time, but with air conditioning. If you like antiques be sure to have plenty of camera space, you'll take a ton of photos! They start a new tour I think every 15 minutes. We were able to quickly get tickets at the nearby ticket booth but had to wait a few moments for the next tour to start.

Certainly worth the price of admission. Orville was our "Store Clerk". He did a great job, was fun and was very informative.

Fantastic experience! Our tour guy/ “Shop- Salesman” was terrific! Really felt like we were back in time and being presented all these incredible (and some not so much) items available to purchase!

We had a really fun tour with our tour guide Ruby. She stayed in character in 1908. We had a lot of fun discussing life at that time and obliquely comparing to modern day (such as the price and availability of cameras!) It was nice chatting with Ruby later, too!

Located at Old Town St. Augustine, it was a nice little tour that gave some history of the area. It showed how life was back in the late 1800s to early 1900s. Displayed a lot of antique items from that era, & the tour guide also demonstrates how some were used & the cost of them back then. Tours run about every 20-25 minutes, we got it as part of a package with other attractions.

I really enjoyed touring this store. It was like stepping back in time. Ruby was fantastic - funny and entertaining while providing interesting facts about the time period and artifacts. The Milk of Magnesia toothpaste was hilarious. Love the butter churn that rocks a baby at the same time. I'm really glad I decided to take the tour.

I’m not one for hitting up tourist attractions like this, but the wife insisted. Glad she did. This is an interesting collection of wares set in a turn of the century general store. Lots of products and and inventions from a time gone by. But what makes it really interesting and engaging, is the tour guide. They are at once a guide, slick salesman, infomercial type pitchman and historian. The tour takes about 30 minutes as you wander through a few rooms. It’s light, funny, educational and entertaining.

We enjoyed our tour. It was only me and my girlfriend! Mr Alfred did an amazing job explaining every vintage machine. A must see if you visit an old town like St.Augustine. The only thing I was missing was some time to take pictures together. Thank you!

Such a fun and humbling experience! Seeing the items that were used back in the 1800's and early 1900's, sure made me appreciate today's technology LOL. Our tour guide, Virgil, was perfect for the part... He made the experience feel very authentic. I highly recommend a visit to the Oldest Store Museum!

This was the most delightful tour! Off all the things we did in St. Augustine this was my favorite! Our tour guide Ruby was great and we really enjoyed learning about the history of the store. Definitely put this on your St. Augustine to do list!

I'm obsessed with turn of the century products, consumerism, and packaging, so this place was amazing. Our tour guide Rosie was fantastic and fun and involved our 9-year-old son so that was super fun. It's in the same complex as the Old Jail Museum and St Augustine History Museum, so most certainly worth a stop! Some interactive elements, really nicely set up, and just chock full of stuff, some of which you probably hadn't seen before (for me: the goat powered washing machine and combination baby cradle and butter churner).
