Save A Lot

Great prices on certain items like produce, name brand groceries. They have fresh cut meat, ALDIS has pre packaged meat, and Save a Lot has a meat cutter on premises. Not for everybody, but if you are on a budget, this is the place to go. You bag you own groceries, pay a quarter for a cart, get it back when your done, they are not Publix or Winn Dixie, but you will save money when you shop here. If you want to be waited on or have limited variety, go elsewhere. Shop here regularly, shop the in store specials, weekly ad and you will pocket some coin.

Prices are good and they were very friendly and helpful. The meat dept repackaged a two pack of steaks for me so I could just get the one I wanted. Make sure to bring your own recyclable bags. They don't have plastic bags, but I guess that's good for the environment.

I shop here often and although it is a small company with select products, I really enjoy coming here. All the staff are friendly and personable. They keep it clean and are constantly working. Every employee that works here will go out of their way to do whatever they can to help you. I recommend shopping here. Occasionally the check out line may get a bit long but this store is not a super busy place. It is not anything like the hell they call Walmart. If you ever need a place to find very affordable and good produce this is your place. A great in and out shopping trip.

Unfortunately, Save A Lot is closing its store located in Saint Augustine, FL US 1 S on October first.
I'm sorry that Corporate (reasons unknown) is closing this location, as I'm sure that many others feel the same as I.
So all I can say is good bye!

I didn't go to save a lot. I when to Mu Carnal Hispanic Restaurant just next door to save a lot. Thanks restaurant is my favorite my family and friends favorite. They make food as you order nothing sits there every thing is made fresh. Never Left overs. Slow but delicious. Clean and friendly

A very underappreciated small grocery chain. Bulk style display, good quality house brands. (avoid all house brand soda products!) Decent selection of all the staples you may need at good prices, don't expect a Whole Foods experience.

They have the best meats and cheeses and stuff for homemade pizza

Bring your own bags and load up on great deals! The savings are out of this world!!! You just need to know what to buy and what not to! Be smart check your coupons and go shop!

Great prices just look at the product and the date always look at the date there and check your Frozen products to see if they're actually fresh frozen or if they've been thawed out and re- Frozen, it's the thing to do and its not a hard thing to recognize if the vegetables or the product is a flat bag then it's been thawed and refrozen it needs to be loose material in there if it's vegetables as Frozen pastas fruits and other items just be aware of things like that other than that I hope this is helpful,,,,, yiC

No frills. Great prices. We have to make meals at home for our dog that has food allergies so we buy in bulk here. The deals on beef are unbeatable.

Nice employees. Warm and friendly. They go out of there way to help you. Nice little shop and go place. Good clearance when they have it. Love it.

Save A Lot is great for saving money. It's also well organized and well stocked. This is where I stock up on just about all my food and household items. I highly recommend it.

It's easy to park and make a quick stop but I really like it because it's the only store I know of that has fresh yucca, fresh Ginger and fresh jicama in stock most of the time

The vegetables and fruits are always just as fresh as Publix and the other major chain stores but more than less than half the cost! For example: this week Publix has their strawberries on sale for 2/$6 while Save-A-lot has them for $1.49.....same brand, same size package.

Great prices, large selection to choose from. Love this place! Fresh produce, fresh vegetables, unbeatable prices! I come here at least 3 fines a week and I love it!

They have a great latin products.

I like to go here for milk, fruit, and eggs. They have good prices on pretty much everything but these items stand out. Definitely recommend.

Decent prices, convenient location. Deposit a quarter for your shopping cart, but bring your own bags, they're for sale there
