Marathon Gas

⛽ it is my local neighborhood gas station Dave, and the staff do a great job of taking care of their customer and the little deli hot food they have is very good, most of the customers seem to be regulars as people chat and seem to be acquainted with each other as they wait in line or talk about at the gas pumps, and as I mentioned their Deli items are cooked on site and displayed for sale very nicely👍👍😎

This is the best gas station in St. Pete. So clean. Great food. Great prices. Friendly staff. Steve who stocks & works there does everything. He helps every customer in the parking lot. Love the fresh soda. I always feel at home!! Sam is also the greatest. Thanks Marathon!! xo

Lost my wallet on bike near this store. Staff returned the wallet to home address.

Friendly service and they have chicken gizzards if you get there early enough.

I went in there today, and the new guy was nice but. He smelled really bad 🤢 like he hasn't had a shower in a couple of days.

Ok until your inside then it looks run down and no one cares about it!

I am at thos place at least 5 times a week. I purchased x5 19oz drinks and asked for it to be double bagged, of course it was the smallest one and I was denied. It is really petty and bad customer service. It has happened a few times where the bag rips. Meanwhile u don't ask everytime bc it isn't needed each visit. So over 100 bucks spent weekly and refuse to give me an extra bag which would cost maybe 13 cents for it comes in bulk. Oh and why I am posting this is because the bag ripped. Wish the other gentleman was there.

The lack of empathy and humanity at this place astounds me. My car broke down on the corner of their place. I rolled it in, lifted up the hood, and saw that my car was overheated. I called my person to tell them I wasn’t going to be home soon and while I did they turned off their lights. I noticed it was five minutes until midnight so I went in to ask if I could still get a thing of motor oil. The guy outside smoking could care less, and the guy inside said he already did the register so there was nothing he could do. Not like he could take five dollars and ring it out tomorrow and help a human being out. So while I wait for AAA I leave this review and say to them, shame on you marathon. Shame on your employees for not lacking decent human respect. For not helping someone out in need, and for making them sit here while AAA comes in the dark now. I wish I could give a negative one star. Never coming here ever again. You would do best to avoid as well.
