We are from Louisiana, & this Artsy COOL Café felt like New Orlean's finest! Decorated with delightful Art from top to bottom, with a cozy, inviting vibe perfect for listening to poetic musicians...original music lives here! I loved every bite of my Greek plate, & the Angel Hair Pasta Bologna looked so tempting! They serve Leffe Beer! I visited the Brewery in Dinant, Belgium years ago!

$8 as a Broward Folk Club member and the purchase of a meal was all it took to hear some lovely music with friends.
The venue is small... reminds me of some hangouts in Nyack, NY I'd frequent back in the day... sweet and intimate...

Awesome place to listen to music in a very intimate setup! Reminds me of New Orlean style jazz joints. Grab a glass of wine or beer and enjoy the show! The food is amazing as well!

Wonderful food and amazing bands. They also have a terrific selection of wine and international beers. The staff is delightful as well. Get there early though because seating is limited. Even if you have to stand up though, it's worth going.

Such a special find! This is an amazing listening room with wonderful musicians, great food, and a delightful crowd. Highly recommend if you are a music lover who appreciates quality performances.

Best music showcase in South Florida. Listening isn't mandatory, but talking during a show is usually discouraged by the listeners. Original musicians: this is home! Good sound, excellent food, spirits and service. Going tomorrow night to see Misty & Rey, the Afro Brothers. Really looking forward to it!

Great little funky place. Music usually wonderful but watch out for the monthly youth open mike if you don't do cute and it's not your kid. Amazing international beer, porter, stout and cider selection. Moderately priced, and there is a cover charge that varies based on the entertainment - but it's always noted on the front door, menu and table card so if like some of the Bozos who have posted here you're "surprised" by it, you need to cultivate some ambient sensibilities.

Great food and atmosphere! Got there @ 6:30pm with a friend for a bite and chat, very unique homemade menu: we ate gnocchi with pesto, a capicola sandwich, table of cheeses and beer-coffee. Owner operated and very pop and mom vibe, laid back.
Note: on open mic- live music night they require a min purchase, cash only. Not a problem since is totally worth it, I will call ahead.

Looking for a gem? This place is uniquely situated in a city that is primarily Latin. ( not that there's anything wrong with that!) Luna Star has American Folk and acoustic style music, with delicious gourmet European style dishes. It's casual in atmosphere. Be sure to bring cash - as no cards are accepted.

Amazing place to enjoy great food and music, very nice owner and personal taking care of, huge beer selection! Some people say it is small but bigger places don't have the warm atmosphere, the quality and live music of Luna star cafe, it is a unique place a mandatory must go.

Love this place. Its small and feels like you just stepped into your a friends Bar. Luna Star has an Incredible beer and wine selection, healthy and delicious bar food and a friendly staff that makes you feel at home.

Luna Star is a great place for coffee, wine, beer, food, good music and good people. I have been going there for 20 years and I recommend it to anyone! I go there at least twice a month and always enjoy my visits.
