Al's Pizza

It's very popular for pizza, calzone and other items. They make it very nice. They prepared per your request. Service was good 👍. Beer served in a bottle as well as on tap. They have a wine 🍷 menu. We went for dinner in the evening We had Toasted Rivoli in an appetizer and we had a very tasty calzone and pizza. We Loved the food and overall it was a great experience.

Been eating at Al's since his very first store on Beach Blvd when he was cooking, working the counter and all of it. I have been to Al's hundreds of times and have had nothing but good food, service, pleasant dinning experiences. His multiple locations and different restaurants lay claim to his excellence.

It appears that the ongoing Pizza wars are shifting from price value to quality.
If this is the case, then Al's Pizza will come out of this as a winner.
I can't think of another Pizza location in the greater Jacksonville area that does as good as a job with quality Pizza, ingredients and underlying price as this restaraunt does.
This is in addition to the other fine Italian inspired dishes that they serve such as stuffed ravioli marinara and 🍆 parmesan, amongst others.
They also have a small bar which I think brings a bistro feel into this establishment
which was started in 1988.
It's clearly a clean, well maintained and lighted facility with plenty of safe parking.
Very good for nightime pizza runs.
Staff very helpful and they'll tell you when your order will be ready.
And it will be awesome. 🍕

Very chill pizza spot for all. Family enjoyed the quiet atmosphere to enjoy pizza and drinks.

Went here for lunch with My Wife the other day. She decided to have the stuffed shells and I decided to have the all meat calzone. Both were very good. Our server did a very food job as well. Will return here again.

Ive been here a couple of times for lunch mostly pizza or calzone to go orders. This time for lunch I decided to Dine in and get the Chicken Caesar Wrap. It was really good and I also like that it was toasted and slightly pressed like a panini. I do want to try a few entrees on the menu so of course I'll be back. The waiters are very kind and friendly. And the wait was not long for my dine in meal

Had been a while since my last dine in visit and was perfect. Food was hot and came out quickly and everything tasted amazing.

The absolute BLT pizza, it’s honestly delicious. Portions are huge and the staff is extremely friendly and courteous

This was our first visit and we really enjoyed everything about the place. The atmosphere was very pleasing and relaxing. The staff was very professional and informative. The food speaks for itself - DELICIOUS!!! I learned that there are several locations in Jacksonville, but this is the closest to where we live and we fully intend on visiting wherever we have the desire for pizza!

The fettuccini chicken Alfredo dinner was excellent and the deluxe calzone was great this evening. You've got to try the Cesar dressing for the garden salad. The food is always very good but I'm mainly writing to say that the manager showed such care and concern for my wife who was feeling a bit of stomach upset when we first arrived, probably because she hadn't eaten in a long time. He quickly offered several items and she settled on some plain flat bread, which were given to her immediately. It helped so much to get something in her stomach. How kind and caring. Just had to let folks know!

I always get their Vegan Deluxe and it is tasty. I wish the cheese was a better brand so that is melts better but other than that it's great

Had a good experience. Went on a Sunday evening, Restaurant was kinda slow but we were taken care of in a friendly manner. Pizza is absolutely amazing too. Can't wait to visit again

Pizza was a standard fare. Mid-range.
Greek salad was very good.
Service was outstanding. Server was celebrating her birthday but still was happy to be there.

Had a 10" Pizza. Very good. Fast and friendly wait staff.

Loved their pizza and wings. We ordered a 10 inch half deluxe and half cheese pizza for our party of adults and kids, but ordered more because it was so good. There was a lot of people so this place must have a good rep. Parking wasn't too bad either. Looking forward to tasting more of their menu.

Nice Venue! Friendly staff! Can't beat Thirsty Thursday $1.50 slices of pizza and $1.50 beer!

My husband and I ordered delivery at our hotel. The hostess who took our phone order was pleasant, our food was delivered in good time, and everything was delicious. We will definitely order from Al's again when we're back in town ✨

My daughter and grandchildren came to town from Texas, and we decided to take them to Al's Pizza for dinner. We got a Supreme Pizza, a Barbecued Chicken pizza, and a Chicken Alfredo Personal Pan Pizza. They were all delicious, and I absolutely love their crust. I could eat it with nothing on it, it's so light and flaky.

Great food always enjoyed getting Bacon, Chicken Alfredo pizza, and garlic cheese bread. Good beer.
