Holiday Inn Express & Suites VA Beach Oceanfront, an IHG Hotel

Room was clean, indoor pool, small fitness room on the beach. The location was perfect for our needs (wedding) and the Boardwalk for running. On the beach and convenient to several restaurants and tons of shops. The staff was super pleasant and very direct in spelling out the 'rules' (esp re parking, apparently a bug problem all over Va Beach).
By the way, we appreciated them explaining...good to know the rules of the game. Will definitely stay here again.

We booked the king suite which had views to the strip and board walk/beach. I would recommend the King suite. It's worth paying a little extra. Both rooms had big TVs which was nice. Also, the staff were very friendly.

It's clean and was renovated this past year. Free breakfast to start the day was good and hot foods (eggs bacon, turkey and pork sausages, eggs with cheese, scrambled eggs, scrambled egg whites, pancakes prepared in about a minute, fruit and fruit juices were available, or cold cereal, white and chocolate milk..coffee and tea). I was accommodated for early ck in (as requested) on the 10th floor/highest (also, as requested). The staff was very nice, too. The indoor pool was convenient since it was raining that Sunday. All rooms are ocean front. I stayed for two nights and requested a late ck out but left by scheduled ck out (11:00a) just to beat the traffic on 64 to 95 North. I would stay here again. There's no restaurant on site. This hotel is conveniently located near many eateries but there's nothing like roomservice for a burger and fries. The pillows are the best!! I sleep like a baby anytime I stay at a Holiday Inn! I need to know where I can order these pillows. I was satisfied with my stay at this location. To say it's a luxury hotel, no, I've stayed at a HI resort, and there was a full-size refrigerator, stove-top with three eyes, dishes, a table for four, on-site restaurant in Daytona Beach, Florida. This location has a mini fridge and microwave oven.. it's better than nothing. A coffee maker, iron, and ironing board. For a last minute, something to do.. was very relaxing.

Very cleaned. They have a breakfast buffet. In a good location on the beach. And they have good service. I fell safe in that hotel. They have good locks on the hotel doors.

Service and staff were a pleasure. The location was great. Rooms could use a little updating. The bathrooms were nice and spacious. I've used this hotel for the last 3 to 4 years in October and will continue to use it.

The rooms had an amazing view, all of the ocean/boardwalk. The breakfast was nice and we utilized the on-site drink/snacks frequently, very convenient. The hotel overall was clean and relaxing.The parking was a little congested but this seems to be the norm for most beach places. We were able to park either at the hotel or the parking just across the street so not really an issue. The staff was very helpful.

This hotel was one of the absolute best stays I have ever experienced! The views were breathtaking, the location was very convenient and just perfect for my family vacation. We experienced some rain over the weekend so when we couldn't be at the beach, they also have a very clean indoor pool that we had fun in. I would 100% recommend this Holiday Inn and will be looking to stay there again in the future.

Had a room on the 10th floor. It had its own balcony, so we could step outside to enjoy the view of the Atlantic. Was close to the Posiedon statue on the boardwalk as well as the Norwegian Lady statue as well. Ot was well worth it.

I have been here for the first time back in 2014. This is my first time ever staying in a holiday inn express. We have to walk to the restaurant from the hotel. We get an beach view from our hotel room balcony. The elevator is a Otis brand.

Spent 5 nights here and loved every minute. Hotel is very clean. Wonderful breakfast that offers variety or meat, eggs, pancakes, bagels, oatmeal, etc. Seating inside and outside to enjoy the breakfast. Sat and enjoyed Oceanview from the balcony. Boardwalk is right between the hotel and beach. Front desk staff helpful in answering questions. Had a suite with separate seating area from the bedroom. Included tv in bedroom and one in living room area. Small kitchenette served our needs adequately. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Decent nice and cleaned hotel and room, great location as it’s having its own beach walk…. Nice to stay here in summer time. I came here for work in winter and stayed here.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and helpful. It is very easy access to the beach. We stay in a lot of Holiday Inns and breakfast here was on the better end, with all the standard offerings. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked very well. I will happily stay here again.

Loved this hotel! Very clean and the breakfast is really good and thank you to Koku he make sure that everything is clean in the breakfast area and he worked so hard. He deserve the best!

The view of the hotel was a very nice thing to wake up to. I watched the sunrise eveey morning we were there. The room was clean. The free breakfast was delicious. I can't say anything about the pool since I didn't go in the pool. I was mainly at the beach. Overall it was a very nice hotel.

We had a awsome stay and will stay again. The views were amazing. Jets fly over and you are able to see everything.

This place was an absolute joy. The room was clean with fresh linens and the bathroom was very clean. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. I was on the 8th floor looking out over the ocean and could see for miles. I also awoke early to watch the sunrise on the balcony. This hotel is right off the boardwalk making it very convenient. The coffee and breakfast were great and dining area clean. We also took advantage of the pool and exercise room. Those were clean and orderly without being crowded. I will stay here again and recommend to anyone else looking for a great place, right on the ocean.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites VA Beach Oceanfront for a week, and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located directly on the beach, so you can wake up to the sound of the waves crashing and the smell of the salty air. We just vacationed here last week and first of all, the location was great! Close to Walmart (8 min drive) because you know you always forget to pack something. This hotel also is across the street from Ben & Jerry’s, because you gotta have ice-cream while at the beach. Also, a great pizza place called Romas delivers free to the hotel (menu is in the lobby) and it was so good that we ordered twice while there. Secondly, the service was great! The attendant at the front desk (Christopher) was always very pleasant and helpful. Sarah with housekeeping was also very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing! They had everything from sausage and eggs to gravy and biscuits, corn beef hash and the best pancakes! Oatmeal, cereal, yogurt and fruit for the light eaters. The indoor pool was great, the grands loved it. It was clean and not overpowering with a chlorine smell like most indoor pools. The hotel was quiet at night and the beds slept so comfortably. The bathrooms even have Dove hand soap and lotion for your use, and not those little travel bottles either. The shower had Dove Shampoo, Conditioner and Body wash for your use. Very nice touch in my opinion. Also, one thing that I liked was the full size trash can and bag in the room. It had a great size fridge in the room too. The ONLY thing that I wish we had in our room was a room safe. I do believe some of the rooms had them though. We will definitely be making this our hotel for our yearly trip to the beach with our grandsons.
