Travelodge by Wyndham Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront

This hotel is a FANTASTIC economy type hotel. Scary type people won't like it...If you aren't a scared puss puss it is a wonderful place to stay. There was a bit of water leaking from the heater/AC but it was all good, I'm still leaving 5 star review. Actually pretty private, every 2 rooms are kind of coupled together...So rent rooms like 309 & 310 and they are practically conjoined...You'll even have your own hallway...Very private & dope...It is an aging building, but has the most swag.

Only stayed one night but definitely would have stayed longer. We were traveling from Myrtle Beach back to Central New York and decided not to drive for 12 straight hours and to go to Virginia Beach. We got there at 4:30 on Friday of labor day weekend and had no problem getting a room. We paid 250$ for 3 adults and 2 kids. They had a really nice pool open from 9am to 9pm. Looks like every room there has a balcony that is beach front. Nice elevator free coffee in rooms and downstairs already made a long with a fountain drink despenser of enhanced flavored water. Lots of stores and food super close night life was great staff was friendly. I should have taken more pictures on the inside of the room it was really nice. 2 full beds in the bedroom with a TV and mirror. The bathroom was tiny my husband didn't like that the toilet was so close to the tub and turned weird. The couch in the living room pulled out into a bed and there was a TV, dresser, desk, mini fridge, single cup coffee maker, microwave and an amazing balcony view of the ocean. Highly recommended.

My wife and I spent her birthday and a couple more days had a blast good view only complaint would be toilet in room sits funny but overall great room no bugs 😀

I read the reviews and I was expecting it to be nasty and a terrible experience but when we got their the staff was rlly helpful and the room was actually rlly clean no mold anywhere good ac perfect location it had great places to eat and shop very very close both tvs worked and had plenty of stuff to do and perfect spot on the beach it was nothin like the comments said it was way better than they was saying but plz don’t let the bad reviews stop u from staying .pool was very nice also

We have nice view of the board walk and the beach. Room is very big and even has kitchenette. Bedroom with 2 double beds. My daughter and I are having a great time here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend :-)

The place is clean and very decent and also convenient. Don't be too nit picky about this hotel, it's at the besch, so be thankful. It is just older. Things improve with age and things improve with people who make an exceptional experience. See Chrissy at the front desk, she has 14 years of experience in VA beach and can make any assumptions or concerns a laugh and her welcoming sense is what makes this hotel more like home. I would come back again. You just have to be down to Earth and adaptable to deal with the environment, it takes more than one to tango. Also, check in with Ms. Coley. These two people honestly made the vacation the best part of the experience because feeling at home while you are away is the greatest gift that friendly strangers can give you and now they are more so friends. Once again thank you Chrissy and thank you Ms. Coley!

I can only say good things about my stay. Very clean, large, nice furnishings and incredible views. We checked in labor day and had beautiful weather and a great time at the beach. The room rate was fantastic. bring cups plates and silverware. Five stars!

The hotel is in a great location. My family and I loved the beach access. We had a room facing the parking lot so obviously that’s a bit lackluster. The room was pretty outdated but huge! Everything was clean in our room.

Great location right at the heart of oceanfront. Rooms are clean, spacious as all their rooms are suites so you get bedroom and living room plus balcony. the only drawback they had is their tiny bathroom but overall we are happy with our stay. Front desk staff was really helpful.

We all loved the location of the hotel. We never had to drive anywhere and the beach was so close and easy to get to. The price was so inexpensive we will be coming back as soon as possible. We stayed 5 nights and it felt like home. We hated to leave.

Loved it. Great room, paid under $65 with Hotwire. Flat screens, clean rooms, non smoking environment, in-room balcony, oceanview. I read other reviews but i had no problems. Only thing ill say is the toilet is turned more to the tub, thats nothing. I'll book again here when in town

went for 2 days in jan , liked this place as the room were clean and the view of ocean was nice. the best thing i liked about this place is you can see the ocean from the living room as they have sliding glass door. the only thing i didn't like is their bathroom size.

On a trip with a group of friends. All rooms were clean and had the right beds we needed. The front room staff were tops. And the cleaning crew was professional and polite. Was a good experience for all 28 of us.

1 bedroom suite with double beds! Was a great size living room and the balcony view of the beach was perfect. My family and I really enjoyed the stay near everything!

Rooms had beautiful views and the beds were very comfy though kinda short. Also the bathroom set up was a little weird/cramped with the position of the toilet and bathtub. But overall a great room.

My family loved this hotel staff we very friendly room was so nice and clean. We were in the beach side was nice to wake up to the beach. Watched the dolphins and the sunrise.

Beautiful view overlooking the boardwalk and ocean. Lobby is about 50 feet from the boardwalk. Room was big: living room with pull out sofa, kitchenette, separate bedroom. Tv's in both rooms. Simple breakfast: cereal, bread, danishes, oatmeal, muffins, oj, apple juice and coffee, real half&half. Woman at front desk was bery nice. I will definately stay again.

Nice place to stay oceanfront with all 1 bedrooms so that you can have plenty of space for ur family and yall can easily spread out and have privacy as well. The bedroom has 2 full beds and the room near the balcony has a full size bed sofa!

All the rooms are oceanfront, with a nice little semi- private balcony. The location at 19th street is great, not too far from the fishing pier. The fighter jets do fly directly overhead, regularly. The pool is located street side of the hotel, and is smallish, but clean.
