Delta Hotels by Marriott Virginia Beach Waterfront

Beautiful hotel with updated, modern, beautifully decorated rooms with balcony beach views and great bar/restaurant on premises. Hotel staff were friendly and personable. Room was spacious with attention to detail and lots of amenities. The balcony is definitely a major highlight with plenty of room to sit or even to just leave the door open and hear the ocean. Parking was easy with easy elevator access. Close to supermarket, bars and restaurants. Definitely a nice, classy place to stay for a very reasonable price.

Super convenient location! Had a great stay here and Mr. Jaime at the front desk was super helpful, courteous and kind. I traveled with a group and my entire party enjoyed the size of the rooms and how clean it was in each room. Will definitely love to come back!

This is a great place. We came here off-season in early March and stayed with our two dogs and two kids under four and had a blast. The outdoor pool is heated. They let the dogs everywhere in the hotel, including the restaurant and the pool area and never bothered us or questioned us about it. Very mellow approach to families. It’s also right across the street from a trail that leads to the nearby state park which was a great morning activity. I don’t post much but we had a really high quality experience here.

My husband and I did a mini trip here and we were very pleased. The suites are super spacious, beautiful, and modern. We also loved that they had the pool heated outside so we could still enjoy that amenity. The staff were very pleasant.The hotel restaurant Tides also had amazing breakfast and at night the bartender made the best drinks. Overall great experience and we will be bringing our kids this summer.

Stayed here for 3 day "stay-cation" to celebrate a family member's special birthday. The room was beautiful, with a large balcony and fantastic view of the water. The room was spacious and clean, and very comfortable. My family really enjoyed their relaxing stay and the coffee and smoothies from the coffee shop. My only complaint would be the parking fees for staying at this hotel, which shouldn't be a thing. Other than that, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Updating this review because I use this hotel on all my VA Beach family visits. Great Hotel and great location. Service is normally in the top 90% all the time. Two recommendations: 1. Improve the lighting in these rooms, especially in the rooms where there are no windows. 2. Hot water system needs attention to SAVE You a lot of $$$. To get hot water, not warm but hot water to our room in each stay we had to run a lot of water down the drain.

I love this place! I've only had one not so good incident..actually make that two. One time the place on the 8th floor that has all the free snacks had moldy cookies and another time the front desk lady was incredibly rude to me. The hotel as a whole though is gorgeous. Its like VA. Beach best kept secret. It's on the end of the beach that's not busy and full of tourist. Very, very nice for off season visits. It has electric charging which is also a huge bonus. Huge balconies overlooking the pool and beach, Nicely decorated modern rooms that are allways clean and overly stocked towels and coffee. My favorite place to stay in the 757.

I stayed with you guys September 12th-14th. I would have left you guys a review on Marriott, but it won't let me since I am an employee. That being said, I stayed with you for a much need vacation, being a Front Desk Associate at a fellow Marriott property. From start to finish, all of the staff was extremely kind & professional.
The Front Desk Manager Dominic worked with me on the Destination Fee, as I deal with some severe health issues, & also have employee discount in restaurant. He waved the fee for me with no hesitation. The restaurant was fabulous & the staff was very accommodating. The food was delicious & the bartenders had a great personality.
My room was immaculate, very beautiful & spacious. The water pressure in the shower was out of this world! We loved the view from the balcony. I really enjoyed the private stretch of beach. I am more of a night beach person, so it was very enjoyable to feel safe enough to sit out there on the beach late at night with not a care in the world. I will DEFINITELY stay with you guys again!

Went to dinner with my husband and my granddaughter the other night. And the food and service was excellent. The server emily was amazing and Stephen the supervisor showed excellent hospitality. The chef put out outstanding food as well. Thank you for such for a great experience for us coming in and not staying at the hotel. Will definitely recommend to others!

Stayed at this beachside hotel in October and it was really nice. It’s in a great location convenient to the beach and very good restaurants in the area. The hotel is very clean and the Tides Restaurant inside is a nice option for a good meal. Really liked the Restaurant Staff as they are personable and offer a warm welcome. My doggie enjoyed his stay as well and I love the beach which makes this hotel a hidden gem! I will be back!

My husband and I traveled to the Delta hotel fornourbone year wedding anniversary.

The customer service and location of the hotel was amazing!

We were given $10 vouchers for any item at the food market on the 2nd floor.

The mirror in our room was cracked and the refrigerator leaked which resulted in a large ice cube forming.

The beds were great and we had a great time. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful vacation spot. The hotel is beautiful and spacious. Cafe as hot croissants, healthy yogurts, mango smoothie and morning brews. The weight room was awesome, with lots of equipment. The restaurant by the beach had good food choices. The swimming pool area was amazing!! Extra towels and comfortable lunge chairs and tanning. The beach was very nice.

We had a great experience! The rooms were very clean. The bay was perfect for my children. We rented a beach cabana and it was so nice to not have to worry about setting anything up. The convenience of the restaurant to the beach made it so nice! We could just pop in for drinks or a quick bite. With a pretty view of the bay!
Plenty of options for dining nearby also. We ended up going to The Porch on Long Creek for dinner, which was very close and fantastic.
Anne and the staff at the gift shop were so helpful! They made getting the cabana and some items I forgot to pack a breeze.
Overall, this hotel was clean, safe, great location and the price was so reasonable!

Easy access to the private beach, great for families who want to avoid the crowds. Clean rooms and nice view. Food lions and rite aide across the street. Darrell who greeted us was the coolest, very polite, very helpful, wouldn't even let me lift a bag. He told me , "Sir your on vacation with your beautiful family, please sir go relax ,go enjoy yourself and your wonderful view. " I forgot his card at the hotel but I pray he gets the credit, bonus, or raise he deserves for his hospitality service. He is the reason I'm giving 5 stars for service. He should be in charge of training the other young staff. Cleaning crew was on their job. Even though we kept our don't disturb on the door the whole stay. Just grab some myself some towels off the cart as we needed them. But they stayed cleaning and vacuuming, keeping the place clean. We ordered out so can't comment on the food. My only complaint as a man with a family, at least put the shelve in the mini fridge, was kind of pointless, everything tipping over. We know you want people to eat at the restaurant, but people do like to make a couple of sandwiches to take to the beach, store a few items. I mean we paying the price. Besides that had a blessed time in Yahshuah Jesus name.

My husband and I enjoyed our short, staycation. The views were beautiful from our balcony. Friendly staff and very attentive to our needs. We will be back to stay a little longer. Will recommend it to my out-of-town family and friends.

Location was perfect! Very quiet beach area the boardwalk was so packed and busy it was so nice to come back and have it be relaxing and secluded. Rooms were clean! The pool was great. Staff was so nice and accommodating. Everytime we needed something they were right there! Always smiling! The store inside was very nice! Starbucks inside was a plus! The sports director on site was playing volleyball with our kids he was awesome! 😎 Our whole trip was awesome!!

what a beautiful stay for my birthday/my first time in virginia beach!! i especially want to give a shout out to genoa and the manager at the time for working so hard to help my partner and i to get checked in and find our reservation, after the third party company i booked it through had complicated things.
the room was BEAUTIFUL and SO comfortable! also, the food at the onsite restaurant was fantastic and the ability to walk to the beach was absolutely wonderful. i absolutely recommend staying here!!!

This was a very nice place and everything was clean/available. The only thing is that yall don't have Continental Breakfast. As nice as that place was, should've had that.

I enjoyed my stay here. Everything was clean to include no lint balls and hair on the sheets. The food in the hotels was so good and fresh. I would stay here again.
