Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Oceanfront

Last week, we stayed at the Hilton Garden inn in Virginia Beach and it was a great experience from start to finish. The resort is situated in a beautiful location with breathtaking views of the ocean, and the overall ambiance is serene and relaxing.
The only downside I can think of was that the AC in the room was kind of loud.
The restaurant was a delight. The menu featured a wide range of delicious dishes, and the seafood was particularly outstanding.
The staff at the hotel deserve special mention for their exceptional service, especially Dacelyn at the front desk. She was friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my stay was perfect.
Overall, my experience at Hilton Garden Inn was exceptional. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and I can't wait to return for another visit. I highly recommend this hotel!

During our recent stay, we had the pleasure of experiencing the exceptional valet service provided by Ronnie. From the moment we arrived, Ronnie greeted us with the biggest smile, setting a positive tone for our entire visit.

Upon our arrival, Ronnie swiftly brought us a cart for our luggage, demonstrating his efficiency and attentiveness. He patiently waited while we checked in to get our room number, ensuring we had everything we needed before taking care of parking our vehicle. His friendly demeanor and prompt service made the check-in process seamless and stress-free.

The following morning, as we were checking out, we informed Ronnie that we needed to load our luggage into the car but planned to stay for a couple more hours. Without hesitation, Ronnie assured us it was no problem at all. Despite the busy morning rush, with many guests trying to retrieve their cars, Ronnie managed the situation with exceptional poise and professionalism. His ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously, all while maintaining a smile and showing no signs of stress, was truly impressive.

Ronnie’s dedication and passion for his job were evident in every interaction. He provided outstanding service, making our stay more enjoyable and stress-free. Ronnie is a prime example of someone who truly loves what they do, and his exceptional service did not go unnoticed.

We highly recommend the valet service at this establishment, especially if you have the pleasure of being assisted by Ronnie. He made a significant positive impact on our stay, and we are grateful for his outstanding service.

A wonderful extended weekend stay

My room was gorgeous with an outstanding view of the boardwalk and beach. As others have mentioned, the HVAC system was a loud distraction.

The desk staff was polite and very accommodating to both my dog's and my needs.

The valet staff were prompt to retrieve my car. I never had to wait for my car to be returned to the hotel.

The facility's grounds were beautifully landscaped and well maintained. There were two dog relief areas conveniently located close the boardwalk and entrances to the lobby.

My stay was relaxing. All of my requests were fulfilled promptly and courteous. Upon returning to Virginia Beach, I will not hesitate to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn on the Boardwalk

Great rooms, service was excellent. Lobby is welcoming and setup well. Restaurants were good and worth the prices.

We loved our stay. The restaurant on site was fantastic. The rooms were clean. The location couldn’t be better! We had so much fun going from the beach to the pool. The pool did have a sharp drain and my kiddo cut her foot pretty badly. I fell like the front desk was pretty dismissive to the severity but otherwise, a great time!

We ended up booking a room the as we pulled into the parking lot at Hilton Garden Inn after I screwed up and booked our hotel at another big brand that starts with M for the wrong date and they were full to capacity. We have always been Elite big M members, but they’ve let us down repeatedly lately (different situations, not this one that was my fault). We really enjoyed our stay at Hilton Garden Inn and even because Hilton Amex Gold members during our stay! I do want to shout out Ronnie, our valet attendant from both days. He was such a pleasure to talk to and really talked up his hotel as I was booking it! He spoke highly of the rooms and facilities and said we wouldn’t regret. I booked the stay after that and he was right! I’m grateful they had availability.
Our stay was a quick overnight stay while we were in town for a concert at Veterans United Amphitheater which was just a quick 25 minute drive from this hotel. We walked down to the beach both days so that was nice. We didn’t use many amenities but we did see the pool. Small, but very clean. Last thing, be sure to grab breakfast at Pocahontas Pankcake House one block up and across the road!

This is my family's second visit to Hilton Garden Inn Va Beach Oceanfront - it was clean, the staff was friendly and you just can't beat the location - right on the beach and every room has an ocean view. Lots of restaurants right out the front door and the Lager Heads restaurant inside the hotel was excellent. Hunter, at the front desk was very helpful as well. Hope to come back very soon!

I didn't stay at this hotel. I had a meeting there. Entering, I felt excited because of the view of the ocean. The hotel was well kept, and the staff was very courteous, professional, and helpful. I'll definitely stay and recommend this Hilton hotel.

This is where we got married and if we had to do it over again, we wouldn’t do it anywhere else. Everything was outstanding and definitely highly recommended. Can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. We love it here and we still say hi to the employees whenever we see them. LOVE THE HILTON GARDEN INN!!!

We couldn't have had a better vacation. Upon arrival we met Ronnie (Valet) who was very gracious and friendly throughout our stay. Aliyah (Desk Clerk) made sure accessibility was readily available. When I called her for an adjustment to equipment in the room, she immediately sent Darrian (Maintenance) to fix the problem. He was very courteous and promptly had the matter taken care of.
I give you all an A+

Everything is perfect. Just as expected from Hilton.
Ronnie (head of valet parking) was awesome. He remembered who my wife and I were every time we passed (whether using the truck or not). Totally took care of us!

Great hotel that's clean and perfect for a beach vacation! Location is perfect and there's plenty to do within walking distance.

My sister and I just needed a quick vacation from Richmond. Two nights. After a delayed checkin event, feeling frustrated. Then we met Kristina from housekeeping. She was our savior for the day! She made the first day sooo much better. Just saying thank you!

I loved staying here. It was so enjoyable. My only complaint is alot of people were getting welcome bags & my partner did not get one. Not sure if you had to be a Hilton member or maybe they forgot. But details matter.

A great place to hold your event. The place can hold approximately 150 guests seated.. there's plenty of choice as far as food selections and amenities. the staff are polite and professional. They are following covid guidelines. Recommended.

Enjoyed our stay! The staff was friendly, in particular Hunter. At check in, his friendliness made the process not seem long, very welcoming after a 4 hour drive. He had a smile on his face every time you saw him. He always took time to say a quick hello. The location of the hotel is great! Our room was very spacious. We enjoyed the oceanfront view. So many things in walking distance: spa, music, restaurants and much more.

We celebrated 3 bdays this weekend & let me tell you from the time I called ahead to the time we checked out. The experience was GREAT!!! the front desk receptionist Shawntea AMAZING!! she was on point with everything from the complimentary accommodations to check in & check out. Our rooms were connected. All my requests were granted. The "Lager"restaurant was nice & live music. The breakfast was delicious, our server Reese!!! Such a cool vibe & our orders were made specifically with no mistakes. The rooms were clean, warm & house keeping was quick & courteous.

***Two complaints***

1. The pool was not hot AT ALL!! NO HEAT INSIDE & THE WATER WAS VERY COLD. Many other guest can confirm this statement as they were highly disappointed about that. My kids really wanted to swim this weekend. When I called & spoke to a gentleman he said it was heated. Please work on this HILTON. As people look forward to the pool especially in the winter months. That is a big deal!!

2. One elevator was down so it was very inconvenient especially being on the 9th floor. However they did accommodate guest with lots of water & snacks. We understand this things can happen.

Overall we will visit again. & it will be in the summer so that we aren't disappointed about the pool.

We have been several times and love this place. So clean, staff is wonderful and the view is AH-MAZING!!

The customer service and valet was exemplary at this hotel! The room was extremely clean, and very large. The complementary water bottles every day was not expected, but very much appreciated. The amenities in the hotel and the room were wonderful. The location is not far from Laskin Road which is superb. I would skip the breakfast unless you have continental, but definitely stop at the bar and have a shrimp po’boy. My husband, I highly recommend this Hilton! (Thank you Hunter for adding extra customer service to our week)

Loved our stay! Wish they had breakfast included like other Hilton Garden Inns. Very clean and friendly staff. Room had ocean view. It was great to hear the waves at night. Loved having access to the ocean from our hotel. They havea nice gym and indoor/outdoor pool.
