Hyatt House Virginia Beach / Oceanfront

I truly enjoyed my stay at Hyatt House. The location was convenient, the rooms were nice with an incredible view and large windows, but most importantly I really loved the staff. Every single person I interacted with at the hotel whether in passing as I walked through the front or on the elevator or at the lobby, was welcoming and nice and hospitable and that truly made my stay 10 times better. Special thanks to Michael upfront whose smile really set the tone for our trip! He was super helpful as were all the associates in the lobby. Another thanks to Vicky at the restaurant who was just so sweet. I love this hotel and will definitely be coming back again. Thank you so much for a lovely experience

Absolutely the best place to stay at VB. We have tried several hotels and this one is definitely worth the extra money compared to others. They are very pet friendly but the rooms are immaculate and the potty spot outside is very clean. Highly recommend trying to get a top floor. We stayed on 18 and the view was incredible.

This has been a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff have been helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. The location is right on the beach! There are many great options for food and entertainment within walking distance.

We had a wonderful weekend in VA Beach and stayed at the Hyatt House. Rooms were great with plenty of amenities. The views and location were amazing. The staff was extremely helpful though out the entire stay. Best of all they are very dog friendly. Saw many many other dogs and our pup had a blast. Can't wait to come back again!

This is our 4th visit. We are always impressed with this Hyatt House for our quick 2-3 night trips to the beach during the off season. I would be a little more hesitant to stay during peak summer season, but that also applies to most hotels on the beach in the summer.

The hotel has a reasonable pet policy ($75 per stay), the rooms are reasonably clean (not perfect). The free breakfast is good, and the staff is kind and friendly.

We love how all the rooms face the oceanfront.

For those with allergies, the scent pumped in for the lobby is overwhelming - the hotel could lighten it up a little during the winter when the doors are always closed..

Overall a great budget-friendly choice during the winter. Equivalent to the name brand 4-star hotels on the beach but at a 3-star price.

I had an amazing stay. Antonio and Cem were so helpful and Friendly. As a Hyatt employee, from Michigan, it brings be joy knowing the brand is consistent with awesome customer service, no matter where you are. My only complaint is the breakfast ladies. They stood around watching over the food and condiments like the budget came from their paychecks. it was off setting. Aside from that, I would 100% refer this property and stay again.

Our stay at this hotel was great amazing! Kate was amazing with making sure our accommodations were met and she was also extremely courteous and attentive from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. I would recommend staying here if you are ever in Virginia Beach.

Had a great experience this weekend. The person at the door, Robert was great welcoming us and others into the hotel and he was generally helpful to my boyfriend and I. He was very pleasant and he made our experience at the hotel great!!!

Having visited the hotel during both the early fall and early winter, we appreciated the quieter atmosphere compared to the busy summer months. Many of the local restaurants and bars remain open for business during the fall and winter, making it an ideal period for a more relaxed and enjoyable stay.

With the positive experiences we've had, we plan to return to the Hyatt House Virginia Beach next spring. We love this hotel!

Antonio was helpful making sure my family had everything we needed! We came back again this summer however the parking situation still needs fixing.

Breakfast variety was really good(one of the best so far too), staff was really nice and loved the kitchens. There were no bigger fridge other than your classic minibar so that was a surprise.

If you are Explorist and above parking is free that was great too.

Had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt in Virginia Beach with an oceanfront room. The view of the boardwalk, both during the day and at night, was absolutely breathtaking - the pictures I’ve attached barely do it justice! The room was spotless, and the service was top-notch. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the vibrant energy of the boardwalk at night made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a front-row seat to Virginia Beach’s beauty.

This is the friendliest staff I've come across!
Rooms are nice, clean, and big.
The only complaints I have is they need a bigger area for breakfast, and they need to bring back valet parking. I didn't feel safe walking alone from 7th floor parking garage to hotel at night during the weekend.
But overall the hotel is great!!!!

I was surprised! Beach hotels are known to not be so clean. Hyatt house was very clean, accommodating, safe, and overall, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. My children loved it! Me and my spouse loved it! They are pet friendly as well.

When family decides for vacation there are so many criteria we look upon to and my number one is safety and other cleanliness. Well it was great stay at Hyatt house. We had asked for higher floors but we weren’t on higher level which is bothered us but they we settled in. Property is located right on the beach and you find some good known restaurants just on walking distance. We had issue with mosquitoes and it could be due to we left the balcony opened and immediately the assistance was provided and it was taken care. Staff was almost friendly and special mention for Denise Gordon who is there to greet you every morning with zeal and she make sure you are well taken care. We had great room view. Overall a great stay after winter. Mr Robert thank you for making us to settle back in our car with all our luggage.

The service was the best I've ever seen, staff was super kind and helpful.
Let me also add this hotel was the safest ever. It requires room keys to get up to the hotels parking. To use the elevator, pool, gym, and to get in and out of any other entrances you need to use a key.
Breakfast was super delicious and had a wide variety of selections. In the same restaurant for lunch and dinner the waiters and waitresses were super attentive and the food was amazing! Try the crab dip!!! 🦀
In addition, the room was very clean with a beautiful view of the ocean. Truly we thank Hyatt staff/members for a wonderful experience.

It's a beautiful hotel. The staff was efficient & friendly. I did not expect to have wait service for the free breakfast or valet but they had both so just an FYI to carry cash.
