I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hampton Inn Virginia Beach-Oceanfront South, and I can confidently say it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing all the information I needed about the hotel and nearby attractions.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with stunning views of the ocean right from the balcony. Waking up to the sight and sound of the waves every morning was simply breathtaking. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring the beach and the boardwalk.

One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. It wasn’t just the typical hotel breakfast; they offered a great selection of hot and cold options that were fresh and tasty, providing a perfect start to the day. I also appreciated the convenience of the free coffee and tea available throughout the day.

We stayed for three days and two nights. Everything was very good, the breakfast, the room and the service, everyone was very friendly. My favorite thing was the coffee/tea/hot chocolate station next to the reception, they have great coffee. The breakfast was good, not a lot of choice but it was delicious, eggs, meat, juice, waffles, etc. The rooms is very nice, it have their own shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, big mirror and hair dryer. The room was clean and nice, good job to cleaning service.

I want to talk more about the body lotion that is in each room, I took a picture of it because of how good this thing is! It smells nice, helps with sunburn and is just really really good in all ways. We will definitely be back again! :)

We had a great experience staying here. We stayed here a couple of years ago and it was good but with the added renovations they had recently, it definitely enhanced our experience. Very family friendly. Great location. Breakfast was beyond expectation. The rooms are clean although a little tight and furniture is outdated. It has an attached garage which is accessible from your floor which is awesome. We will be returning here anytime we visit Virginia Beach.

Great spot. Oceanfront hotel where you can walk out to the beach on one side and can walk to dozens of restaurants and shops within a quarter mile. All the rooms face the ocean. The hotel is surprisingly clean for a beachfront hotel - the crew does a great job cleaning up the sand and water that guests drag in from the beach. The crew is friendly and accommodating. The pool is average - just not very big, but it’s great if you have small children. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel (not owned by the hotel or affiliated with Hampton Inn / Hilton), but I don’t recommend it. The food there was average and the service was nonexistent. Parking situation is fantastic compared to some of the other hotels in the area where I have stayed. The parking garage is attached to a hotel and if you’re staying on floors 2 to 5, you can rock right out to the garage without having to go down to the lobby. The rooms are pricy, but not overpriced.

This is a great hotel. The location is great for relaxing. The hotel was recently renovated and the entire hotel looks amazing. The Staff were very professional. The Assistant General Manager Shawn Bates is a gentleman, who goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Please hold my room, because I'll be back. Tammy.

Had a great stay this week at the Hampton Inn Oceanfront South hotel in Virginia Beach. The front desk staff when arriving was very helpful and quick in getting us checked in. The room was very clean, updated, and spacious. The view from the rooms balcony was beautiful and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus! Would definitely recommend this hotel to others. ☺

I stay at a lot of beach hotels and this has been the best one by far! The personal touch given by Destiny and Seleste at the front desk is unmatched!!! This was my 1st time in VA Beach, but it won’t be my last!!!
Don’t let me forget the breakfast staff…they were the bomb too!!!

I highly enjoyed my stay. The room was clean. There was no funky carpeting, just laminate. The cleanliness was very well done. I’ve stayed at hotels on the beach in the past and there weird be sand in some places, but not at all here. The breakfast is very nice to be free as well. I would stay here again. The view was very nice.

Location was great. 5 deck levels to park, 4 covered. Staff was very pleasant. The breakfast served was more the expected. And the view was spot on. It made the day at the beach so rewarding because of it being 'right there'. We dined at the restaurant and the food was delish. We had a live performer who played very well and kept the audience engaged. I would visit again. Memorial weekend '24

This Hampton property was everything we needed! The property is completely oceanfront with stunning views and convenient to restaurants, shops, and Virginia Beach attractions. Our room was clean, spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff that we interacted with (Dymond and Yosef) were extremely personable, ensured we had everything needed for our stay. There is an on-site restaurant that has a wide variety of items on their menu with a bar menu and Bartender (Fallon) who gave us 5 star service. The price we paid during Spring Break was beyond an excellent value. The hotel is going through renovations. The indoor pool and fitness room were not open during our stay. Parking is free and is an attached 5 level garage that is a little tight once the property is at capacity. This was an enjoyable and relaxing stay. We would definitely return!

This is our favorite hotel! It’s so clean, friendly staff (Yoseph especially goes above & beyond for each guest-not just us but we encountered him treating everyone with respect and doing everything in his power to make their stay & vacation a great memorable one). It’s perfectly situation on the beach, and in close proximity to all the best that va beach has to offer! The recent upgrades to the lobby and rooms are enjoyable and you can’t go wrong with their adjacent restaurant, chichos! Thank you, always! We will be back-again & again!!

We were in a newly renovated room and all I can say is BRAVO the room next to the ocean made it even better. There's renovation going on but no interference our stay. We slept good ate good and enjoyed the horizon. Hilton is always my stay of choice.

Newly renovated rooms are exactly that, new. Perfectly clean, quiet. It's directly on the beach. Therefore, views are mind blowing.

They are finishing renovations in various areas of the hotel. None of this made for an inconvenience, whatsoever. (even the contractor staff were friendly).

The service received from the staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Worthy of note. From check-in to check-out, every staff member (Tony for the win) were 100% friendly, courteous, polite and professional. We were a couple hours early, and they eagerly checked us in, with a smile.

When we return, this will be our destination hotel for Va. Beach.

My wife and I wanted a little weekend getaway. We found this Hampton inn in Virginia Beach. WOW!! We were surprised how awesome this hotel and staff where. We were greeted by the guest service. Very friendly. The room was very clean and we had a great view of the ocean with a balcony. Highly recommend. Hampton inn. Virginia Beach. Thanks again.

Everything about the room is great but what I really loved is that there is a little foot rest in the shower so I can shave my leg without trying to balance on one leg

The place is very nice and clean.
The staff are pleasant and greets you with a smile and attends to you when you need something even just asking a question. I love that it's pet friendly and doesn't charged you too much like other hotels.
I love that it's facing the ocean and has balcony.
Breakfast is good and the staff sanitizes the table after every use. Overall I am happy with my stay here. Will surely come back in the future.

The staff are helpful and kind and the remodeled rooms have laminate floors which is sooooo much better than carpet! We stayed between Christmas and New Year’s. Our two little dogs loved the grassy area between the building and the boardwalk. The staff are at the front desk which is positioned in front of the elevators. Secure and beautiful! We couldn’t imagine a better place to stay.
Our view aloud is to see many of the lights along the boardwalk!!

I loved the beach front room, the accommodations in the room were fabulous.
I loved waking up to a nice sunrise. The pillows are soft, the bed is very comfortable. I just didn’t like the idea of having to call for the room to be cleaned.
My visit were for 5 5days , And the room was never cleaned just given more clean towels. Overall the I really enjoyed my stay.
